I do remember it. It's the dude with 7'8" wingspan who's considered to be a major project years away from contributing (we're talking Andrew Bynum years of experience and work needed). O'Bryant has the same wingspan and is alot closer to contributing. I would go with him first.

    NBA Conference Finals

Good game. I have a bad feeling about Raja though. The way he went down I thought it might be his achilles, but it was a calf. Thats still bad but not as bad as I thought it would be. Clutch performances by the Suns players. They didn't play close to their best and stole homecourt. That is pretty good. I expect Nash to wear down around game 4 offensively, so hopefully someone will pick up the slack. Plus with Raja probably gone, they are going to have to change the rotations, meaning more minutes for the starter. Phoenix won tonight but with Marion's ankle and Raja's injury, they are not in great shape. Still think they will win this thing though.

I would like to take the chance to pat myself on the back. I keep reading people saying "NO ONE THOUGHT THE SUNS WOULD GET THIS FAR" and "NO ONE THOUGHT THEY WOULD HAVE A GOOD SEASON WHEN AMARE WENT DOWN" I would like to point out that not only did I call Boris Diaw being a big addition to the Suns, I also said they wouldn't slip below number 4 in the West and said they would be in the West finals. This might be the last thing I get right this year so.... Ripper - *pats*

The Hawks are looking at Sheldon Williams.... a 6'9 PF. To replace Al Harrington....another 6'9 PF. To go along with Marvin Williams, Josh Smith, Josh Childress and Joe Johnson. All 6'9 players. Billy Knight says he has no intrest in Marcus Williams. A 6'3 point that is brilliant in the open court and can get players open....and he has a team of talented, athletic wing players that can run... Ripper- crying a little inside.

    Why I am stupid

I wouldn't call myself poor...far from it. Just being safe right now. I make 18 bucks a hour. Not incredible or anything, but more than enough for a kidless bastid like myself. But like I said, this is temp to perm with no guarentee of perm and my unemployment insurance is gone. So I just don't want to spend the money, then lose a job, then have no income to fall back on until I get another one. I am very insurable. Not worried about that. And I am also not worried about the xray showing anything. Anyone that has been to the hospital knows that they don't really want to charge you either, they want that money from insurance because they pay now. I would pay in installments if I pay at all(saying in general, people without insurance ain't paying). If I say a week, a day, they are going to report it as such and that will be that. And suspisious or not, I don't care. They can't prove when I got injured, so they can suspect all they want. The insurance company will pay the bill and shut the hell up. They too know they will be getting 20 bucks a week out of me for a while and really won't mind a broken hand showing up. Seeing as it is something that can happen at anytime and no one would be stupid enough to sit on a broken hand for a couple of weeks.... ... ...they will believe it. I will say the pain is starting to go away, which mean that it is probably healing itself somewhat. So looks like it will have to be reset.

What are you talking about. I hurt my hand next Monday building a concrete BBQ pit for Memorial day.

That's a decision that will get someone fired. Morrison needs to be on a better team than Charlotte to be effective. I agree. I don't believe in the Morrison hype that much at the next level either. Next Larry Bird my ass. More like the next Keith Van Horn. I am starting to doubt that people will ever understand how good Keith Van Horn has been in his career.

And since when is averaging double figures in assist playing like trash. FOR THE THOUSANDTH TIME. THERE IS MORE TO BASKETBALL THAN SCORING. YOU CAN AVERAGE 0.0 POINTS PER GAME AND BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE GUY AVERAGING 20. I swear. How can the same people singing the praises of Ben Wallace while he shoots 25% from the freethrow line but changes the entire game defensively be calling Nash trash when he was struggling with his shot but still making the entire offense of the suns go.

Peopls seriously stop with the Nash debate thing. Once anyone names Kobe as being a MVP over Nash their opinion becomes null and void honestly. Dirk, Nash, Billups...you couldn't have gone wrong with any of them. Between Dirk and Nash, to pretend that there is no reason to name either of them MVP is pure stupidity. They both had MVP seasons. They both have had great post season. They are both in the same place. They both got ALOT of help from supporting cast (unless you don't count Stackhouse, Terry and Howard). Nash won it. End of story.

JJ is going to be fine. He will give you 15 a game on the right team. The right team being one that has a guy you HAVE to double, like Cleveland or the Lakers.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

In what world does nash waste energy playing D? When in the course of human events has he ever wasted energy playing D? Dallas doesn't run any of their guards off screens like Rip Hamilton or anything. Standing in front of a guy that is taking you off the dribble doesn't take any energy from you. Banging on the block will. And Jason Terry and Devin Harris aren't low post threats. And the reason the suns didn't do so well in game decided in 3 points or less this year is because they were never in them. They were never in them mostly because of eddie house and his 10 point second quarters. It was a formula, House comes in, scores 10 points in like 3 minutes and along with Barbosa would bring that high energy quick striking offense. Dallas is the first playoff team the Suns have met that will allow him to do anything of note. Plus that give Nash more rest, which is pretty important.

X-rays alone cost you about 1000 a pop and they would have to get multiple shots. They they would probably check to make sure there is no nerve damange which would cost another couple of grand. I was being nice with the 3500. And the swelling is pretty much gone down except in the two spots where you can tell its broken. 6 days till insurance.

    Klitschko crushes Byrd

I can see the argument of you saying he didn't whoop Lewis's ass (although I say he whoop his ass...moreso because Lewis was A: taking him lightly like he did Rahman and B: Wasn't expecting to fight him) but you have to be kidding me with Byrd. He whooped Byrds ass. Beating the shit out of a guy and getting injured in the process doesn't change the fact that you beat the shit out of a guy.

I have no doubt that the CLips could win just as much with LIvingston getting the bulk of the minutes...probably more. BUT he is too injury prone to count on as your primary guard. Once he bulks up to 120lbs then maybe I would cut Sam loose. But at the same time, this kid has the ability to be your franchise point guard with allstar capabilities. You can't bench him forever. Eventually they have to hand the franchise over to him.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

The Mavs afford the SUns the opportunity to play Eddie House, who simply was too much of a mismatch for any Clipper player. And there is the fact that Jason Terry and Devin Harris can't stop Nash. Ross and Livingston gave him problems. ALTHOUGH!!! The key to this series is going to be....Darrel Armstrong. He is Lindsey Hunter West right now and can give Nash fits. Suns are just done with dominating on the post big man right now as they don't have to worry about Dampier or Diop going off on the block and Diaw/Thomas can abuse both of them offensively. The Mavs are playing five on three unless they go small.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

Well this is the West Finals that I called, I had the Nets in the East with the Pistons, so I missed it there. I said Phoenix had the easy route to the West Finals....didn't end up being that easy, but they got there. So here it is people, I am picking the Suns over the Mavs in 6.

    24: Season 5

I think the ending of season 3 is what pushed it to the top of the list for me. That, Ryan Chapples death(almost made me cry dammit) and the hotel scenes (Michelle really stole a whole chunk of that season from the other stars...she was the shit). No big suprise, no shocking death....just a man who had been through a WHOLE lot of shit in the last 24 hours finally breaking down.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

That was just a great game by two evenly matched teams. I do kinda like the fact that the myth of the Spurs being a good defensive team got exposed in this series though. I was mostly suprised by the amount of bitching that Duncan was doing in this series. I mean he went to Rasheed/Iverson/Kobe levels of complaining about every single call against him or everytime he touched the ball. Jesus dude...play some ball.

    24: Season 5

First Jean Smart and Gregory Itzin deserve some awards for what they did this year. INCREDIBLE acting from those two. And second, despite the Chase/Kim waste of time Season 3 is tops to me, then season one, then this one.
