    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

I expect a tight finish still. I picked Dallas to win this series, but I do have my doubts now....Yeah..I know they are up big at the half...but I have this feeling now.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

I personally will never care as long as the two best teams are there. If people could have paid attention last year they would have seen a great series between thePistons and The Spurs. I like basketball...the two teams in the finals are USUALLY the best at playing basketball...me likey finals. I personally don't care, but I ain't making the ratings jump so I understand other people not liking it.

Man. The Non-Lebrons really stunk up the joint tonight. NO reason Cleveland should have lost this game when the Pistons were quite literally triple teaming Lebron. Thats TWO guys wide open for those of you keeping count.

No way they would have won this game with Terry playing. That has to be taken into account with everyones predictions.

Finley showed fire in Dallas when he had to the last few years in Dallas. He got shoved to like 4-5 option on offense in the Dirk/Jamison/Walker year, then again in the Dirk/Howard/Stackhouse/Terry year. He still was huge when he was given the chance to show it. They just didn't have room for him anymore. I have to state again that I don't think the NBA is biased towards any one team, but they want to have pressure filled games. Because the playcalling is SO inconsistant and downright laughably bad sometimes now. Its like when you turn on CPU assistance in basketball video games and they assure that the game is going to be close and more competetive. The refs are trying to make good series instead of letting them happen.

What the fuck is the point of replay if you are going to count shots that clearly shouldn't count? MAN that is some bullshit. The Spurs better not lose by 2 or there is going to be hell to pay.

Can someone explain to me the difference between what Jason Terry did and that vicious elbow to Vince Carters ribs that Shaq threw in the exact same situation(them being tied up on the floor)? Not saying JT shouldn't be suspended...just wondering why Shaq wasn't. The NBA has been so inconsistant in these playoffs its unbelieveable.

    Why I am stupid

If i broke my neck playing highschool football and didn't find out for a year and a half, I am quite sure my hand can make it a few days.

Not really... Magic was a key component on a very good team. That was Kareem's team and Magic just happened to be a very talented point guard that exceled in a good situation. He's remembered for the Game 6 performance (the best of his career), but it wasn't as if he had done a whole lot to that point (or at least nothing on the scale that Lebron has done individually). He wasn't even the Rookie of the Year. Also, the 1980-81 season (which I think was Magics age 21 season) was one of the more disappointing Lakers seasons ever. They didn't even make it out of the first round of the playoffs. The hell it was. But to be fair you are comparing arguably the best player ever to the guy who I believe may be able to be better. At 21 lets just say that both of them were incredibly good. Plus he was a better defender than James at that age and has a better game with his back to the basket. I can't say who was better, but Magic's team was definately better so of course he accomplished more. And the ONLY reason he wasn't rookie of the year was because he was on a great team. Bird had a shitty team that he was able to make into a damn good team. I honestly say that roles reversed, Magic could have done the same thing. They were both that kind of player.

I think Cleveland closes this out because of the Wallace suspension. I would also like to take this time to point out how I hate this "get a certain number of T's during the season and you get suspended". To many guys get such a short leash that it simply isn't fair....of course since I think Rasheed was the only guy to get suspended....I guess what I am saying is that I don't like the Rasheed Rule. Take the guys money. If he mouths off twice, kick him out the game, but the suspension is too much. But with him out, the Pistons bench consist of Maurice Evans and Lindsey Hunter, losing Antonio McDyess to the starting line-up. I don't think Cleveland is a better team, but Detroits cockiness has done them in. There is a big difference between having no doubt that you will win and believeing that the other team can't beat you. I guarentee like 3 people are going to get that...

He is DAMN good at studio work. Better than the entire ESPN crew and to my knowledge that is the first time he did it. I have always said great players would be better analyst than these fringe, lucky to have been in the league players they use sometimes. Unless its Tom Tolbert...

Kobe apparently thinks the world are fucking idiots. Well...alot of people are, but that shit doesnt fly with people that know basketball. Whatever dude. You quit. And as much as people are going to try and blame Flip Saunders here, the Pistons are stinking it up because the players on the court just got cocky. I will say it like this. The Pistons played a horrible game 1. They won by a shit load of points, but that took alot of bad shots, but they hit them. They had the swagger of this team shouldn't be on the court with us, and honestly it is biting them in the ass now. The shit that fell in game one, those same shots aren't falling now. Now they need to play basketball and none of that "Let me embarass you" ball they keep trying to play.

Um, did you look at their numbers? Its not like this was Malik Rose getting first place votes. Those guys both put up incredible numbers this year.

Josh Childress is a future allstar. I wouldnt' take that trade if I was the Hawks. I still personally believe that Joe Johnson would turn to a bitch if someone else comes along and shines. He started bitching up at the end of his wonderful year last year when Josh Smith started showing signs of becoming a allstar caliber player.

The wall is officially fixed. I have to paint over it now. And you all don't get it. Yeah, I am getting paid well, but this is a temp to possible hire job. I HAVE to save money because my unemployment is gone. So basically if this job doesn't work out, I would have to find something else within a month or be homeless if I pay for this out of pocket. I would much rather have the bone rebroken and set than to put myself up shit creek. I have found out that I might be able to have insurance by monday. I definately can wait that long.

If someone shot you right now you would react differently 30 seconds later than when you first got shot. He was a bitch but came back in the game 30 seconds later? Can't have both.

Speaking of ESPN dream finals, what the fuck was up with the All Time Bulls beating the All-Time Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals? Everyone knows that Hands down the Lakers and the Celtics have the greatest all time rosters that should have been the finals. Fucking Bulls... As for this game, Suns weren't playing with the energy I need to see from them. They picked it up later. Lets see if that carries over to the second half or not. They have a chance to blow this thing open if they get on the horses and run.
