    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

you know...the shoulder dip that he is doing isn't legal. You dip your shoulder to get under your man and come up, you did indeed offensive foul him. I don't care if it is a flop as long as it is the right call. I hate the bad call flops. Shaq has been officiated correctly for the first time in years and all his complaining is ridiculous. If the officials are calling the game one way and they keep calling it one way, you have to adjust. I guess some flopping doesn't bother me so much because I am still pissed at how often they change the rules to help the offensive player.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

I enjoyed the game last night. But between Shaq elbowing Carter in the back and no call and Nash getting no called on the trip attempt, I had to shake my head a few times. And you know, people talking about flopping. Have you all ever played the game. Standing there is A: More Dangerous and B: Hurts a hell of alot more. If it is a case of two bodies slamming into each other then for the love of christ go down and don't stand there like a tough guy. You are more likely to hurt yourself and the other guy. I hate the going through a screen flop around call though. Hate that. Good win by the suns anyway. Them having to send more guys to the board slowed down the running attack. But Shawn Marion was a BEAST!!!!

Kareem Rush is what the Lakers want Deven George to be. Consistant shooter, pretty good defender. Atlanta ain't giving them Tyronne Lue back. I have grown to appreciate him...ALOT. Speaking of Atlanta. Billy Knight, the GM, said he hasn't ruled out drafting another 6'8" wing player with their lottery pick this year because that is the ideal size and there are alot of guys that size with alot of talent in the draft. I know I said I was going to kick him in the balls last year at draft time if he didn't take Chris Paul instead of Marvin Williams....but dammit. If this fucking guy takes ANOTHER 6'8" SF I am SERIOUSLY going to go and find him and kick him right SQUWAH in the balls.

You know, Shaq has to be the stupidest fucker on the planet. I am sick of him saying everyone is flopping and that is why he is getting fouls. Hows about playing some basketball and stop complaining. How about turning INTO the defensive player with your elbows up. How about noticing that every game where you out manuver your defender you have huge games and the physcial games your team struggles because you are in foul trouble. How in the ever loving hell do you have a 30 and 20 game when playing finesse and say "You know...in this next game I am just going to muscle everyone around". Fucking idiot

Barbosa might not be your dreams. Diaw and Barbosa are due some raises pretty soon. REAL soon. I am sure they are going to have to try and offer them extensions, and I don't know if the team has the money for both. And a 6'9 guy in the pivot playing point is rarer than a fast 6-4 shooting guard

    5 mic albums

Rock City was better IMO. I gave that CD 5 mic's. 400 Degreez could be arguable 5 mic CD, simple because of Mannie Fresh's amazing production. Mannie Fresh is by far the most underrated producer of all time IMO. Personally I hated Rock City. HATED it. I like everything else he has done since and before honestly, but that album just wasn't very good to me.

You can't say his absolute upside is Eddie Curry. Honestly, he showed more offensive knowledge with is back to the basket than Eddy in his few minutes. Quick moves instead of setting up for 15 seconds like Eddy did(does).

    5 mic albums

Eminem - Eminem Show, Little Brother - The Minstrel Show, are the two latest ones I would name. And since it really is a album more than a mixtape, Joe Buddens - Mood Muzik part 2. That shit is amazing honestly. Royce Da' 5'9 - Death is Certain comes dangerously close. Like 4 and 4/5th mics.

    500,000 march in LA

Even more name calling. Look, there are two separate issues at work: 1) The border is basically completely open right now. It's not just Mexicans coming across. The President likes to give lip service to fighting terrorism, and "learning the lessons of September 11th", but he's failed miserably in regards to this gaping hole in national security. We don't know if the people coming across have diseases or criminal records. There needs to be a system in place to deal with and process anyone coming into the country, regardless of whether they want to work here or not, or how long they want to stay. 2) We already have a lot of illegal Hispanics here in this country, and that will have to be dealt with one way or another. I'm all in favor of people coming here to work, and making an honest living. But...they need to go through the system just like everyone else. We have rules for a reason, not just to be a bunch of pricks like the rest of the world makes our nation out to be. It just galls me that some people feel the US should just be an open state where anyone and everyone can come in, and not face any consequences for not following the established laws. Borders and culture make up the identity of America, or any nation...to remove them means you are breaking down what makes a country strong. See that. you made a smart point. I don't agree with it, but you made a point that didn't sound stupid. Putting military at the border and shooting all the unarmed men and women trying to cross the border. If you dont see how that suggestion is idiotic, I don't know what to say to you.

Ross was getting abused though. Thats too bad for Larry. I think he should call it a series. They aren't going to win anyway. Just stay with your family. I want to say again, for the people that missed it when I said it his rookie year. Shawn Livingston is going to be one of the best players in the league if he can stay healthy. The kid is absolutely amazing.

A: Anyone with eyes can see that Bynum is going to be a better offensive threat than Chandler. Not that its hard, but the kid has a damn good offensive game. He is fairly athletic with his size and has shown good timing on block shots and rebound positioning. Even if he only played in spurts, those spurts looked better than Chandler's great spurts(not to discount what Chandler can do defensively, but it is pretty much known he is a one trick pony while if you give up Garnett, you are giving up 25 points a game. you KNOW Chandler can't give you 5.) B: Lamar Odem has shown to be a incredible player when not on the floor with Kobe. He is a guy that NEEDS the ball to be effective. You can build a team around Odem as a marquee big man. He is a great passer, and ball handler for his size and can rebound the hell out of the ball, and has proven to be able to make the guys around him better.

I personally don't buy into gary payton as an alltime great point guard. He certainly is/was no Tim Hardaway or Mark Jackson. And guys like Mark Price and Kevin Johnson were better than him also, but lacked the longevity.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

Bah, he made plenty of adjustments. He moved Tim Thomas to the bench despite him being the best scorer amoung the starters. He made the screen and role the primary offensive option. He ended up doing a damn good job. But I have to applaud Mike Dunlevey. people will say the Clippers pounded them inside and thats why they won, but thats not true in the slightest. The clippers were shooting jump shots and fade aways all night. The Suns did a respectable job on defense. But Mike made a incredible adjustments. He didn't get back to defend the fast break. he basically said, fuck your fast break and had all 5 clippers crash the boards on every single shot. The Suns, being the suns, only send two guys to the boards, Nash goes to the wing and the two others take off after every shot. Thats how they run their break. So it was pretty much Marion/Diaw trying to rebound with every clipper on the floor. THe Clips won because of those 19 or twenty offensive rebounds and having so many second chance points. D'Antoni is going to make adjustments...just wonder which one. He could go bigger and put Grant in to single cover Brand. Yeah, brand will drop 30-40 points, but you don't leave the Clipps shooters open like last night. I personally don't think that is what he is going to do. I think he is going to go smaller. He is going to start Barbosa, move James Jones to the bench and have Marion guard Brand. If Elton is going to score a shitload of points ANYWAY, there is no point in doubling him. Just take the other guys out of the game. Either way, I am still going to enjoy this series.

The all defensive team continues its trend of being a tremedous joke as long as Kobe keeps ending up on there. Call me a laker hater all you want, but someone please tell me with a half straight face that Kobe is half the defender of Ross, Josh Smith, Howard, Igudola, Shawn Marion, Shane Battier, or Elton Brand....Just to name a few.

Hate Marbury all you want, the guy is going to retire with near 20+ points scoring and 8+ assist average for his career. There is more of a chance he will make it than him not making it.

What kind of computer do you have?

That happens with retail computers as well. NewEgg has good warranty plan addons and if you are even too scared of that, don't buy the OEM parts and buy the retail parts. There is only about a 5-10% difference in price but you get a better warranty. Plus getting a good computer for more of the higher end stuff would still cost you alot more. My Opteron comp cost me about 600 bucks total. That with case, ram, hardrives, motherboard and video card. You try to get a dual core Opty from a retailer, and you aren't getting under a $1000. The ONLY reason not to build your own these days is not having tech support.

Nash and Amare can score on their own. Marion has been the recipent of passes from 3 hall of fame point guards.

They were in game 7 of the semis without Wallace...wait...didn't they make the Eastern conference finals without Wallace? Thats like when Barkley won the MVP with the suns. They won 53 games the year before and 62 the next year. Was adding 9 wins really worth a MVP trophey for Charles? Wallace got to a REALLY REALLY REALLY good team and made them a little better.

Homemade Opteron 165 Dual Core and a homemade Athlon XP 2400+. I have this Duron 1800+ laying around so I might make a third option. Right now, I have the internet computer(the XP) and the animation computer(Opteron)

That is a good answer. I would have prefered Dirk or Billups winning it though. I hate multiple winners when there are other viable options... Ripper - Still pissed that KJ was snubbed in 89 and again in 90
