Ripper have you ever noticed you disagree with everything I say and try to argue with me, but you never are able to change my mind? Why do you still comment? Why don't you just ignore me? It'd be a lot easier. Because not to actively disagree with someone is a type of agreeing. If you say something absud and no one challenges you one it, it is to be assumed that the board agrees. If I present a differing opinion, the board appears to be more sane thinking. Its okay not to have people that don't agree on a subject. The world won't end if we all don't say "Yeah! I mentioned before that I played guitar, but I am not on the prowl for a new one at garage sales. So Yesterday I picked yup a yamaha rbx 170 for 20 bucks which was a good little deal and all, but this story... So I am at this one yard sale in what seems like the multimillion dollar homes in the Atlanta, and I went there because there was an ad for a classic guitar there. So I drive way the fuck out there and this chick has it in her hand as she pulls up. I get out anyway and walk hoping she will put it down. so here is the conversation: Girl - What kind of guitar is it? Lady - Yah-ee something Girl - How much for it? Lady - i guess about 10 points. I mean since its pretty old. Girl - Cool. I am going to use it in a collage of instruments...like drill it to the wall and go with the other stuff I am getting. So bascially this chick was about to buy a fucking 1970 something Yairi acoustic guitar to drill to a fucking wall like its a Joes Crab Shack or something. So as I contiplate killing her and taking it, this other guy, apparently there for the same thing, jumped in and offered to give her two guitars for that one. They made the deal, and while I am upset I didn't get it, at least that dumbass chick didn't get to bolt a incredible guitar to a wall. So this will be a weekly outing for me now, looking for guitars around atlanta until I find a replacement for my Spencer (which still sounds great but I notice the action getting higher as the years go on and the truss rod is pretty much not moving, so its going to go bad eventually)

If i happened to stumble upon one of those big 100 million dollar drug bust where there is cash all over the place you might notice it being a 98 million dollar drug bust on the news. That wasn't close to the worse matchup you guys could have had! The Lakers got the perfect end of the brakets for their team. Deron Williams isn't as much a quick point as he is a big, brusing ones. Derek fisher is a physical point too so that was a good matchup for you guys. And Mehmet Okur allowed for you not to have to worry about defense out of your big this round as Boozer was off and they had no other one ot challenge you. In the Hornets, for instance, either Lamar or Gasol are going to have to play Chandler on the pick and roll with Paul, and that will leave either odom or Gasol on west. I am guessing west because they would murderlate Gasol on the pick and roll. Plus you guys are missing that Rick Fox/Devean George guy to hound Peja around picks, unless Ariza comes back healthy. yeah kobe vs Mo pete is embarassing, but fisher can't stay with Paul at all. In San Antonio, sure you guys had a late season win, but do you really want to see Gasol matched up with Duncan, Fisher Matched up with Parker, or Kobe matched up with flopperific? Both of those are worse matchups than the Jazz who aren't that good defensively, and didn't have the front line to make the Lakers pay for their lack of D up front. And with the Celtics, you guys don't have anyone to matchup with Garnett or Pierce...thats kinda a big deal. At least they can throw Ray Allen(stop laughing) James Posey and Tony Allen at Kobe. Lebron is too big for those guys but Kobe is more of a natural matchup.

Cleveland also has defensive players to slow down Garnett and a guy to chase around Allen. Also because of some matchup issues, he can't play guys that he would be able to play against the lakers like Powe and Allen, both of whom are important players to what the celtics did all season. And Kobe just got tied up, and travelled. Odom should miss one becase that is what Odom does.

Yes. the Hawks have one of the best defensive bigs in the league in Josh Smith to match up with garnett, Marvin williams is a damn good defender at the 3, Joe Johnson is Joe johnson and Josh childress is a garbage player that doesn't foul alot. The Lakers have Kobe, on offense, they have no one that can even start to slow down KG, or Paul Pierce and important guys on the team like Leon Powe are giong to be able to be effective in the series. You can say fucking Phillips Arena all you want, but the Hawks beat Phoenix, Dallas, the Lakers, the Cavs, and Utah at home this season. Basketball is about matchups, not about records.

Do you realize that the Celtics have now lost six straight road playoff games to the Hawks and the Cavaliers? And they're going to kick the shit out of the Lakers? If by "kick the shit out of..." you mean edge in 7, maybe. But Boston isn't legitimately kicking the shit out of anyone. They matchup better with the Lakers than they do anyone else in the playoffs. By the way, even if the Jazz lose, Millsap, Harpring and Williams are playing like MEN in here in the 4th and showing they dont want to go home.

No meltdown. I'd just quit watching. Well it doesn't really matter because the west team is going to beat the shit out of whoever comes out of the East. I don't think it matters which west team it is or which east team it is, it's going to be a straight up ass-kicking like last years finals. the West offensive foul was a bad call because there was no contact. The first paul offensive call was a good call though, and so was west across duncans arms. West doing nothing around Manu and Bowen being shot out a cannon were both really bad calls that all came.

You can't say that would have been a blocking foul on Pierce. that didn't happen. What did happen was the Pierce jumped into a guy after he got stripped clean. What ifs don't come into play here. what did happen was that pierce jumped into the defensive player. I don't see how anyone is arguing that anything else happned. And what was it, a 5 point game with 49 seconds left? that didn't HAND them anything. And on another end, Michael Wilbon gets paid to talk about basketball and has no idea what he is talking about. First of all wilbon, the defensive player doesnt ahve to be set. Second of all, its not goal tending because the ball hit the side of the back board.

You don't have to be stationary to get a charge called. That is a big misconception by alot of people. Its not about seeing what I want to see. Its about what happened. Pierce jumped INTO the player after he got stripped clean. He tried to flop and flopped in the wrong direction. Are you kidding? Lebron ran right into him. Pierce beat Lebron to the spot. The strip happened after Lebron initiated contact (maybe simultaneously, but it didn't look that way). Pierce tried to embellish it at the end, but the contact was clearly initiated by Lebron. I ran it back on my PVR just to be sure. Then perhaps you need to rewind it again. What in gods name are you looking at. The strip was CLEAN. Paul jumped in. Lebron was the embellisher there. If lebrong initiated the contact then how the hell did Pierce fly TOWARDS him. So you are saying that Lebron bumped him and Pierce went FORWARD? There are all kinds of problems with those physics.

What? This is the most likable team the Lakers have fielded in ages. They play up-tempo, exciting basketball and don't have any really hatable players other than Sasha. They're actually like the second or third least deplorable team still in it. Yeah, I am a Suns fan(thus having plenty of my championship dreams dashed by Magic) and I have to say, there isn't anything deplorable about this team, unless you are like me and still think Kobe is a rapist. And since most of you don't think so, i don't see how anyone can find this Laker team deplorable.
