Resident Evil Zero and Remake were good. And I like Code Veronica too. But yeah. Resident Evil 3 does suck.
-
But was the match good? I guess in about 6 months, I will find out because it will finally be on sell. Yes that was a shot at ROH dvd releases.

thanks

Where can I read a recap of the show. I don't feel like going through ten pages.

What? People seroiusly, are we denying that Waltman wasn't hugely over after the 1-2-3 Kid/ Razor thing? He was EXTREMELY over in WCW as part of the NWO and in the cruiserweight division. He was really REALLY over in DX. I think the main point of what I was saying is that no wrestler wanted to lose too, or have to sell for a kid that got his chance through a TV contest. If a established wrestler that had paid some dues in the indies was the winner, the wrestlers would be more open to it. All the tough enough guys were cookie cutter when coming into the company. The same interview, the same first match where they display their ability to do pedestrian bumps, toss in a few punches and a drop kick, and thats it. And fans aren't that stupid. They learned what to expect from the TE winners. You want a angle to go over, it has to be something that wasn't seen coming and a extablished wrestler getting the shit beaten out of them by a TE winner(who displays a deep offensive moveset) would have gotten the crowd into it. And seeing as TE was nothing more than a commercial for the WWE, it would have been a low cost angle to run. Now they are spending millions of dollars on a couple of no talent chicks and cut all the TE winners blowing what they at least could have used as a angle.

Urban Reign, just like the Ninja Turtles games, show that reviewers have completely forgotten what old school games were like. The games were knocked for being repetitive and pretty much the same fight over and over, fight a boss, same fight over and over, fight a boss which is why they called them bad games, while championing the games they were made to emulate despite the fact that the Streets of Rage games and Ninja Turtle games were nothing more than same fight over and over, fight a boss, same fight over and over games. ... That was a long sentence.

But the last resident evil was.... *looks around* .... THE BEST GODDAMNED ONE. Yeah....I said it.

Family Guy and American Dad for 8/18
Ripper replied to Conspiracy_Victim's topic in Television & Film
"There is nothing good about you or anything about what you do." Damn Cleveland was just plain cold. The Orgy was funny to me, mostly because of the translation by the cruise ship guy. Stewie had all of 4 lines and they were all funny...although the Real World audition tape...not so much. I laughed hardest at Brian and the ball (I'm sorry, I was mistaken. I thought you threw the ball but aparently its still in your hand), and for some reason, Stewie eating Milk Duds. -
Not after being squashed in his first two matches. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Waltman got squashed for like 2 months before he beat Razor and he was over.

Maybe I am less cynical than everyone hear, but what exactly was she supposed to do? Trash the champion of her company? She put everyone over huge in that interview, gushing about Abyss's size, Lance fucking Hoyt, Monty Brown, Kevin fucking Nash for christ sake. She was putting over the people that she employs. She was questioned specifically about Jeff. What purpose would saying that Jeff has been on top too long, we need to move elseware to make the product better going to do? You don't trash your company in a internet interview when the company has relyed on the internet to sell its PPVs, hell...everything since they have been off the air. This interview is how any owner of any company should address their company. Anything negative that needs to be said should be kept in house and thats where it should stay.

Well, good game for Atlanta. I know, the team lost, but as I said last week, the first couple of weeks mean NOTHING to me. The loss of two corners and Brady Smith was the huge thing in this game that allowed Seattle to jump out to a that 21 point lead. Plus moving Patrick Kerney off his usual side and onto the side with two fucking probowlers PROBABLY wasn't the best way to handle the lost of Brady Smith. Seatte was forcing Nickel coverage and killing that Morton kid that got signed this week. I do believe that two of the touchdown passes were on him. The Falcons are going to need to address their lack of depth in the secondary with the loss of Mathis and Rossum. BUT, through all this, they went in the locker room, made some adjustments and came out like the defensive team that they are and shut the Seahawks down in the second half and the offense put up 18. I personally think it would have been more had Vick not tweeked his hammy in the 4th quarter. Matt Shab was put in a very tough situation, and almost delievered. TJ Duckett was severly underused in the short yardage situation and the coaches are going to have to look at that play calling. Vick and his recievers were clicking more this game, although he still overthrew a few guys deep. But like I said. Week two. I expect those sort of things. 18-21 Seattle, but still, I was happy with what the Falcons were able to do in the second half.

Christopher Daniels Vs. Samoa Joe Vs. AJ Styles
Ripper replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in TNA Wrestling
Do you mean the one with American Dragon, Daniels and LowKi. I have that one if that is what you mean. -
There should be a title change before the first PPV, but not on the first show. You need to establish the champions and let the audience know that yes, this is the champion THEN have him lose to build that excitement of it. For some reason I think if you start belt swaping on the first night, it makes it seem as though the belt is no big deal...unless Nash wins it. THen that would be okay.

You know what TNA should do before they get the national show? Get a Color guy that doesn't sound like a indy guy. Tenay is great, but dammit, Don West is just horrible. Go find Syrus, or hell, put Shane Douglas back behind the booth, but please for the love of god, you don't need some guy screaming this is the greatest wrestling match ever performed every week.

Phoenix should have kept him instead of Paul Shirley last year.

Okay, Jarrett..MIGHT be more known. But Hardy will get more viewers. How about that. People remember Jeff Jarrett because they still go on a tanget spelling his name and such (JA-double R- E- double T) but he isn't going to make people tune in because he is remembered as a joke comedy act with flashing lights on his hat. People know Jeff hardy for killing himself in entertaining matches. Hardy's fans will watch more than your casual viewer that remembers Jarrett. I think the best way to put this is Hardy has more Fans than Jarrett. Jarrett may be more known, but if they aren't tuning in or buying DVDs they don't matter. The viewing audience and paying customers are what matter at the end and i think you would be hard pressed to say Jarrett has Hardy beat in that sense.

ROH is talent pool is much much deeper than ECW's was. They were literally 5-6 deep in Super Talented Wrestlers department and the rest were decent. Plus, wrestlers like to go to ROH. ECW on the other hand couldn't pull too many WRESLTERS in because they felt they didn't have a spot if they didn't wrestle the EXTREME style.

So someone threatened to kill me today...
Ripper replied to AboveAverage484's topic in No Holds Barred
I am sure that her sheriff father would love to hear about the terroristic threats that this guy was making towards you. yeah...he ain't gonna do anything. You don't go shoot a guy over a cops daughter. -
Just to update on the bullshit here. I was supposed to get a raise on Aug. 1st. As of today, the raise hasn't been displayed on anyones paycheck. If they put the backpay on the severene pay check, I really get screwed because as some of you probably know, as a proper sendoff after getting your job terminated, the good ol US government takes 40+ percent out of serverence pay checks, basically double taxing when you need your money most.

Hardy is a bigger star than Sting now. He is a bigger star than Jarrett right now. He has been for the last couple of years. He has sold more merchandise, has more fansites, has more screaming fans than both Jarrett and Sting do now. Sting was killed in the last few years of WCW and then disappeared for a few years after that. That will kill your star power. Jarrett, dude...seriously. Jarrett, face or heel has never displayed the star power that Jeff Hardy did while in the WWE and to a lesser extent now. Jeff Hardy will put butts in the seats. You might not like the butts that are in the seats, but dammit he will do it. Raven, Nash and Hardy are the 3 guys that are bigger stars than Jarrett. Its a shame that one guy that can't move and one guy that can't be bothered to show up most of the time are still held in such high regard in the casual viewers eyes, but they are.

You know, I always had this dream angle where they would use Tough Enough to get a unknown wrestler over. It would work with some indy guy that is very good and they were going to sign anyway, say like Low-ki. They would do the whole tough Enough thing, and Ki would win of course, and for his first night at Raw, he would give the "Gee willikers, I am so happy to be on Raw" interview and then do the corney "Oh my god its Hardcore Holly, I am SHOCKED and a little AFRAID and SCARED face." He would lose in a squash and the only offense he would show would be a drop kick. Then the next week he would give the EXACT same promo, word for word about being happy to be in the WWE. Holly would come out and get on him about saying the same thing and he would do the same shocked and afraid and scared face and the same results in the match. Then on the third week, EXACT same promo, Holly interrupts, but as the camera stays on his face after the shocked and scared face, it turns to angry and evil. match goes almost the same, all squashish, with Holly about to pull off his finisher, when wrestler excapes, looks at him slowly with the evil face and proceeds to beat the ever loving horseshit out of him with stiff looking kicks, and breaking out the entire line of finishers that he can think of. Beats HOlly, grabs the mic and cuts a promo about what the fuck ever. Point is, he would be over.

call her again. Well actually, you should have told him to calm that shit the fuck down when you called the first time. But since you turned tail and apologized and shit, calling her isn't really good now either. But you do have to take in to consideration that it was some asshole that wasn't her boyfriend fucking with you. I would be fucking damned if I am going to toss away 5 months of my life because some asshole started talking shit. -
Yeah, that I could see as a problem....a problem for TNA, because if they become some real competition, then the WWE is going to use some financial backing to make a point.

Besides, once he said some 20 year old black kids called him Cracka, I knew something was wrong. They just would have said bitch ass white boy or something like that. ... Cracker....PLEASE.
