If Dennys isn't held responsible for the actions of their employees, then who should be? How about the employee when he gets fired. A company shouldn't have to either defend a bullshit case or have to pay millions of dollars because someone got their feelings hurt. It's just stupid. Complain, the employee will get fired and that's the end of it. Hurt feelings aren't worth money. This all of course would be ignoring Denny's history.

All this (basketball) is secondary. The reporter slanted it to make it look like Williams was saying he didn't care about the series when the quote had nothing to do with that. And the Sonics are up 3-1 against the Kings, who are some explosive scorers. Most other teams wouldn't have gotten back into the games against them like that. Sonics have been getting doubted the whole year and continue to win.

I don't. Like it or not, the "sue the shit out of them" mentality has lead to companies actually fearing what the results of ignorance at the work place. Its called reprecussions to your actions. If I speed and get caught, I pay a speeding ticket that arguably is overpriced, and at my income hurts. These lawsuits are the proverbial speeding ticket for a big company. If you bring in hundreds of millions of dollars a hundred dollar fine means nothing to you. And like I said, I can sue a company for 564 bizillion dollars, I know full well that I am not going to get it. Simply saying, if they all sued for a apology, you never would have heard of it. Dennys could continue to have employees that discriminate, and they would pay no reprecussions. This is nothing more than a fine if they are found guilty. Sports players are charged 10's to 100's of thousands of dollars for infractions they cause at their work place (be it berating officials, illegal hits in football, whatever) We are charged fines for wrong doings in our lives, and the price is porportionate to our salaries (ie: 200 dollar fine will really hurt someone making 20K per year). In terms of a huge business like Denny's, 28 million wouldn't put them out of business(not that even if they are found guilty they would even have to pay that much) but it would damn sure make sure they get on the ball and repremand employees that are inappropiate at work (and seeing as this is the second BIG suit against them, apparentlythey didn't learn their lesson the first time).

Actually, what isn't innocent about the two pictures that you just posted. The dolls in sundresses(the one on the far left shows the dress where it actually goes...to her knees....THAT FUCKING HARLOT!!!!!!) and the baby one...its a fucking baby. But you don't go in a job interview and say you want to make 10 bucks a hour and expect them to offer you twenty. You high ball them, and you get a settlement for 10 million. Vince carter was one rebound away from getting a triple double with Jason kidd last night. When was the last time that has ever happend(a team having two players having a triple double in the same night). If nothing else, the nets team is coming together.
