O'neil was looking too gimpy out there and Tinsley looks like he shouldn't be walking. If they would give the players a fucking rest instead of accelerated schedule, it would be more of a series. but the Pistons got healthy, the Pacers got less healthy. I think that will be the difference maker

Well, hard fought series by the Wolves, but they couldn't hold it together without a real point. And I was really suprised to see Phil Jackson, who isn't the most modest winner, FINALLY be someone to acknowledge that the Lakers were lucky that the wolves were without their ball handlers. Great defensive change by the lakers. It was something to watch KG play basically every position and try to will his team to the win(and Latrell came up big AGAIN.) but they just didn't have enough. I would pay good money to see this series again with either Hudson or Cassell playing again. I am sick of listening to people act like the games are the Lakers to lose and that the other team has nothing to do with it. "The Lakers didn't have the urgency so they let one go but they will win the next one when they try." Fuck that. The Lakers played hard everygame. All complacency determines is how you come out the gate, but they played hard, and teh Wolves played better for 2(maybe 3) games than them in the series. The Timberwolves have nothing to hang their heads about, Damn good year, damn good series, and they will be a beast next year.

Nba players ARE streetball players. Where in the hell do you think they learned to play? But bottomline, they were BETTER than everyone else. Isaiah Thomas, mark Jackson, Jamal Tinsley, Glenn Rice, Ron Artest...all these guys automatically pop to mind when you talk about streetballers that made the jump. They were just better than the rest of the streetball players. At the same time I don't think most of you have ever really seen one of thsoe games, because they have the "tricks" part and they actually play a real game. They can play D. They can play the team game. There are a lot of consistant shooters. Its just that the NBA players are better at it. They are very good players, just no the best, or don't appear to be the best. The NBA goes for guys they think has the possiblity to be the best.

Okay, when does the "Hey I am a badass and hate everything in the world" act end around here. This coach took it upon himself to get this kid to come to a banquet, told him to bring his parents, basically to point at him and call him a bitch. In what world is it cool for a grown ass man to try and insult, embarass A FUCKING CHILD. A kid asked to get in a MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL GAME. How DARE he!! He obviously went to practice and did everything else to stay on the team. Its middle school ball. Why not let the kid play. And even if you didn't why try your best to make sure the child is going to be embarassed(telling him to make sure to come because he was going to get a very special award). A grown man was trying to be cruel to a child and people are downing the child. And the parents, from every interview at least, only asked for a apology and that he be given the same trophy that every other player on the team recieved. That isn't much to ask for. The school did the whole assembly thing as a Publicity thing and thats all. How are you going to blame the CHILD for this. All that you should expect for your kid in sports at this age (I mean seriously this is basically little league) is that your kid get treated with respect. This coach did every thing possible to make this little kid feel like crap. Fuck him.

Ah...Bill Walton. Check out his chat on ESPN where in one sentence he calls Bill Lambier and Dennis Rodman dirty players but calls Karl "knockem out" Malone just a physcial player. I think Orale is Bill Walton honestly.

Angel, yeah because it was on for 5 years. (although in 5 years it had fewer bad eps than family guy did in 2 and a half)edit: actually come to think of it, Angel was a critically acclaimed show that the creators never really got to close out the story the way they wanted to. The way they DID do it was kick ass for sure but still...it deserved better closure. Like how Married with Children was on for all those years, sure, but it deserved some fucking closure. Firefly on the other hand was incredible and incredibly short. It deserved more. At least it gets a movie.

There was never any concrete evidence of what was going on. This was a case of ESPN blowing something way out of proportion and making it sound like it was black and white when it was really just a bunch of accusations flying around. But it is the NCAA...they investigate if someone picks up a penny off the ground to see if a booster droped it.
