Six months? What did you do...hit it really hard? A tear takes a hell of a lot longer than six months. A sprained ankle can take longer than that.

It's 2-3-2 in the finals because the Lakers and the Celtics were playing against each other every year and they didn't want to have as many trips across country. By the way, is everyone still so convinced that the Lakers are done? Yeah...I am. still convinced Ripper? yep

The Amulet. It didn't matter who used it. The SP always knew that the ensouled vampire would play a big part in their apocolypse. They invested time and energy into angel because, hey, he is the soul vamp. Then up come ANOTHER vamp with a soul. I would guess they only wanted one left. No matter which one, they wanted to get rid of one. Send the amulet to sunnydale with Angel to stop the First's Apocolypse(which was interfering with their plan) AND get rid of one of those damn souled vamps so they could focus their attention on one. If anything they probably wanted Angel to use it since Spike was more recently evil. Lindsey got the amulet and found a way to bring spike back to distract angel. There you go.

I propose that be extended to anyone who makes annoying threads about how they're STONED RIGHT NOW~! Call it the -IB- memorial rule. Yes, well... I'd like to officially apologise for that. The devil on the left shoulder won. It won't happen again tonight, or ever, for that matter. But I do like having a rule named after me. "Gheyme". Is this guy legitimately dangerous or what? Yes...yes he is. Just posting here puts you and the lives of your family in danger.

Stupid rule change, I complained 2 years ago when they changed it and it is a stupid rule now. The games now fall depend on humans and it is understood that there is a huge flaw in it.

Thank you Google. "Basically, you wind up having a standard that says it isn't humanly possible to do something in less than 0.7 seconds, and then someone proves that it is, and those are the kinds of protocols that we use." The league adopted one timing-related rules change for the playoffs, deciding in February that timekeepers from neutral NBA cities should be brought in to work postseason games. In addition, referees have been equipped for several seasons with clock-starting devices attached to their belts that override the timekeeper's controls. "When you have 0.7 on the clock, you actually have more than 0.7, because you have 0.7 plus the amount of time it takes for somebody to push the button," Stern said. "So 0.7 might be 0.8 or 0.9. And as a result, the way the referees deal with that is they discuss among themselves what is humanly possible within the remaining time." See...This is what I was talking about. This was how it USED to be handled 2 years ago. So now, we are suggesting that Fisher did what Baron Davis did in nearly half the time. They hopefully will tweak the rule now. Because between this and Lamound Murrays "catch, step back, shoot" in .5 seconds when the clock OBVIOUSLY started late, they will have to change it.
-
No doubt...exciting basketball. Its just the fact that when they put in the rule they said officials couldn't use the replay to determine if the clock started at the right time always bothered me and tonight I see why.
-
for the love of... Listen. I am not saying "Boo lakers CONSPIRACY~!" or what the fuck ever. But, as someone who was trained to officiate games, as someone who was watched the game for nearly 20 years now and knows how the league used to handle this, it isn't possible that Fisher got itall done in four tenths of a second. Like I said, two incidents in the playoffs 2 years ago changed the rule and put the entire end of the game calls on what the clock says and not what officials were taught was possible. Did he beat the CLOCK? Yes. But the clock didn't start until he started to turn(if you were watching four super slo mo replays) Of course, it is impossible for anyone to be that accurate on starting the clock, and according to the rules, the shot was good. But there is no way possible he got that shot up in that amount of time.
-
Stop blaming other people. It was just an unbelieveable shot. Fish did it all in one motion. I don't care how many motions he did it in. It was impossible if the clock starts when it touched his hands. They didn't start the clock right, he hit a amazing shot. But doesn't make it any less bullshit.
-
Then they have to change the rules. You only need four-tenths to get off a catch and shoot. Any less and it has to be a tip-in on the inbounds pass, but if you have .4 on the clock, a catch and shoot will count. he caught turned and shot..big difference. .4, you can't even catch. you just have to tap that fucker. 3 years ago, the refs woudl have just blown the whistle and called it a game when then saw a catch because they know its not possible. Fucking Barron Davis and Reggie Miller and their miss called shots in the playoffs 2 years ago changing a common sense rule.
-
B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T It is IMPOSSIBLE to catch, turn and shoot in four tenths of a second. And the SPurs can't blame anyone but their timekeeper. Who the fuck ever started the clock late and it cost them. Fisher was inthe air when he caught the ball, landed, turned and lofted a shot. In four tenths of a second. Bullshit.

Must be da MUUUUUNNNAAAAAYYYYYYY~! you know you'd buy it.

The ex-rentals in all the Blockbusters near me take out the DVD, inserts and cover and put them into the regular ones when they sell them. There are also no stickers on the DVD. Mine does too. It has all the inserts and covers and everything, just in a blockbuster case. But ours is more of a used section intead of previously rented because they do the trade in thing with every new movie. I built my whole collection from Blockbuster. When you catch a 2 for 20 or a buy one get one free sale...nothing is better.

Melyssa Ford. And the girl on the right is standing on the step with her left leg. thats why it gives the impression of another ass.

First, the Sonics traded Pippen for Olden Polynese...and the Sonics traded Dominic Wilkins if I remember correctly... And the Hawks got Abdur-Rahim for Lorenzen Wright and Brevin Knight I believe. that was a pretty good trade. I think I am done after that. ... OH!! They traded Grant long and some one else for Steve Smith in Miami. That took them to the second round of the playoffs for a few years. And who ever they traded to get Mutumbo and Latner. They had common sense for like 2 years there. It was actually the Jazz who drafted and traded Wilkins. The other trade you're referring to was Steve Smith, Grant Long and a 2nd round pick to Atlanta for Kevin Willis and a 1st round pick. dumbass Jazz. I knew it was one of the two. And that Grant long Smith for Willis trade worked out pretty well for the Hawks too. What was funny is that they got in this big ass brawl in the first round of the playoffs and then traded with each other just a little later. And the main players envolved in the brawl were the ones traded for one another.
-
Damn...I forgot all about Pippen for OLDEN POLYNICE. As far as the Rahim trade goes: Hawks got: Shareef Abdur-Rahim and the draft rights to Jamaal Tinsley Grizzlies got: Lorenzen Wright, Brevin Knight, and the draft rights to Pau Gasol. Tinsley was eventually traded to the Pacers for this year's first-round pick, which was used to pick Boris Diaw. That just worked out for everyone...until the Hawks traded Rahim for Wesly FUCKING PERSON.

When I saw the trailer for Soul Plane, Garfield, and White Chicks all in a row at one movie I realized there was no god, and life is just a big joke. Ok...as for Soul Plane IMO that movie actually looks great :/. And with the actors in it, I'm sure it's going to do it's job as pure comedy. But as someone in the thread said...maybe it's just a black thing that some don't get...because I know a lot of people that want to see it....not to say that's the case with everyone though. And as for Garfield and White Girls...Garfield...I know a lot of people will see it...just to see it, whether they like it or not. Because it's Garfield. And many still love the strip/cartoon. And White Girls...how can you diss White Girls . This is one of the movies at the top of my list to the see...and I actually know a lot of other people that want to see it. But maybe that's because I'm a huge Wayans fan..Mainly Marlon. But here..(that being in NC) I know there are a lot of wayans fans..and I even still remember a bunch of complaints when they didn't appear in SM3. But out of those three...Soul Plane and White Girls are two of my most anticipated movies....so I doubt you can call them the worse, one seeing as neither of them have come out yet..and two beecause I'm pretty sure there's a lot worse then that. Good god you have bad taste in movies.
