City of San Francisco sues State of California

What's basically being argued over is the line here. Where is it drawn. The issues that you pretend that gay marrige will lead too, what makes you think they aren't there now. But gay marrige and say incestual are like apples and oranges. Gun laws and taxes. They are two completely different issues. People keep trying to merge them together so their point can be stronger, but basically, your point holds not ground. What changes if homosexuals are given the right to marry? Incestual relations ships and multiple partner relationships would have no more to argue than they do now. Their case would not be stronger than it is now. Their issues have absolutly no bearing on this issue whatsoever. As much as I would hate to paraphrase Al Sharpton of all people, he said it best when he raised the point "If you call the right to marry an basic human right, then you cannot deny the right to marry to homosexuals unless you are prepared to say they are not human." I personally think the government has no role in marrige, but it is there, and thanks to this president, it wants to be there even more. If he wants marrige to be such a government institution, then dicriminating against a couple because they don't have mismatched genitalia is wrong. You know the funniest part of all this...pologamy and incest aren't forbade in the bible....they could have a better argument against the religious factions pushing for this. That is just plain funny. -

Because you are presenting completely bullshit reasoning. Its like me being alive in the 20's and saying, "Okay, if you let women vote, whats going to stop 6 year olds from voting," Or in the 60's saying "Okay, if they let blacks eat in the same place as whites, what to stop dogs from sitting on the counters spreading fleas?" Are you saying we should keep prejudice and ignorance for fear of what might come in the future? The issue is should homosexual Americans recieve the same rights as straight Americans and nothing else. When the other issues arise let them be handled then. Every single right in the constitution opens the door to different things, but you can't start taking away people rights and being bigoted against some people to protect that. If a white guy too young to legally buy a gun says "As soon as I get old enough I am going to buy me some guns and kill everyone with red hair." you deal with him. You don't take away the right to bear arms to all white people. Right now you are suggesting that we take the rights away from some Americans because of completely separate issues that they have nothing to do with. -
Robo Ninjas and Puppets from Hell kicked all types of ass... ... Well the "robo Ninjas" and "puppets from hell" themselves didn't but those episodes were pretty damn good. Especially the robo ninja ep where Wes goes all O-Dawg on his robo dad. Now "Hi-Ya!! Harmony" and Sub-O-Doom, I could've done without.

So...basically, a musician should only do one type of music and not have a different sound. Guys like Toby Keith and Tim McGraw have very poppy singles but their albums contain plenty of the traditional country sound.... .... *is officially kicked out of the black race* ... Um....That new Kanye West album is the best thing on the shelves!!!! ... *is taken back in*

But since when does the will of the people have anything to do with blatant discrimination. Lets imagine that a majority of the nation was against the tenants of the Civil Rights movement. Using this logic, if an amendment was passed that said minorities should be treated as second class citizens, then it would have been "right" and that is simply not the case. Are you(or the author...i don't know if you agree with him or not) trying to say that the majority is always right and they should be able to impose their will on the rest of the nation? This entire thing is taking away the rights of certain citizens, and is a clear violation of church and state. In what world is this "right". -

"About this time last year, Pennsylvania Republican Rick Santorum provoked outrage when he suggested that if the Supreme Court threw out a Texas sodomy law on the basis of a right to consensual sex, prohibitions on gay marriage would go out the window. In its Lawrence decision soon after, the Supreme Court proved his point" And the outrage had NOTHING to do with him comparing homosexuality to beastiality and pedophillia. It was because he said it would lead to gay marrige. Riiiiiiiight. What a bunch of revisionist crap. This is just another opinon that once again hasn't raised ONE good reason why gay marrige shouldn't be allowed, or giving a reason this should be a Amendment to the constitution. You would think some one could raise ONE fucking point besides thier religious beliefs. -
Truth being spoken.

In a fair fight, cave men. If each is given one of their weapons, astronauts. If the weapon is a big stick...cavemen. And maybe I missed something in the past few months of exile but damn did some people have the bitch stick shoved up their pee-hole at the beganing of this thread.

You're kidding, right? Lance Armstrong probably wins the "least recognizable athlete" in that commercial. Even if you don't watch tennis, you KNOW who Serena Williams and Andre Agassi are...non-football fans KNOW who Mike Vick is...but Lance Armstrong...I don't know.

The whole case seems like bullshit to me honestly.

As evidenced by this quote. says Najee Ali, Executive Director, Project Islamic HOPE of whom I am sure is the clear representitive of the black races feelings through fair, equal treatment of all races. Really, stop being the media's bitch for a moment and see that if SO many prominent black groups were against this, why is the only one quoted from Project Islamic Hope, whom, and I am just guessing here, not a single person here has ever heard of. I guarentee you nobody gave a shit.

Xander has never been "bad;" unless you count "The Wish," but I don't count that. Xander's moment of "evil" was leaving Anya at the alter. Xander was always the normal guy, real world guy and his evil was one that would happen in the real world. And I don't care how many women you talk to, you can't get more evil to them than leaving them standing at the alter in their dress with their family there.

How many minute quarters for Madden? 7 Minute quarters.

NBA LIVE 95 on Genisis. I have beaten the game on the hardest level ONLY taking half court shots. I never lost to ANYONE. Every Live game after that, it was a fair battle, but in that game...flawless. And I am starting to think I am incredible in Madden 2003. I score 100+ points on All madden level everytime and you literally CAN'T throw to the left side because I can pick it off every time(My Corner back on that side had a 14 interception, 31 tackle game...my best...but still pretty damn incredible). When I learn to do that on the right side, I will be unbeatable.

Actually, Jon B. is married to a black woman. I guess that Jon doesn't dance so he doesn't get as much attention as Timberfake. Ripper, you talk about Jon B's comment getting pops from black audience, I find that funny because look at Timberfake, he went from curly hair, clean shaving, and squeaky soft voice to bald fade, goatee, and talking with a deep drawl in his voice. Its obvious the label covinced him to change his image so he can appeal to black listeners. Im glad Justin got removed to host the show, so I don't have hear him being in forced ebonic/slang mode. I mean they could have Teena Marie hosting or that McDonald guy from the Dobbie Brothers hosting, instead of Timberfake. But can you name one boy band member that still acts like the pretty boy studio made thing they were before they got away from the group. Look at the members of N-Sync and compare their look, and how they act as opposed to what they were like when they came out. They were caricitures of human beings when they first stepped out on the scene. THAT is a studio made persona. And how in the flipping hell does Timberlake act "black". I just don't see all this "he's fake" thing that people want to toss on him now. I honestly don't care for his music, but jeez, the guy acts like a normal human being now and not that THING that he was in N-sync. At least that is what I see.

Well, actually, Cordy started off as real world evil and became redeemed, back to evil and back to good again. Willow went from good to evil to good. Lilah went from evil to kinda grey...Darla started off evil but became good. Drusilla might be evil but through her back story, it earned her sympathy. Basically I think that Joss really doesn't like white hats and black hats in his writing. I think he shoots for giving all of his characters a time that they wouldn't be proud of....that is what makes his characters so much deeper than most of them on television. yet he did it in a way that was believable and worked(unlike that laughable "evil" Clark stage on Smallville). If you really look at it, every character from Giles, to Wesley, to Angel and Spike, all have had parts of thier life they were essentially "bad" so it really isn't just on the women. I think its the fact that they are women is what makes them stick in your mide more than Ripper, Angelus, and William the Bloody.

The funny thing is that the airhead daughter really wasn't a bimbo. She barely had sex on the show. She was just naked all the time. Once a week there was a gratuitous nude scene from the daughter and sex scene with the maid. then there came the next season when their republican son was gone, the over sexed maid was gone and replaced with a asian girl who worked on a sex line and a sharp decrease in daughter huge boob-ity. I think we just answered why the show was cancelled. The episode where the son tried to get a scholarship from the National Negro College fund even though he was A: Rich and B: White was hilarious.

Wade is an irratic shooter that plays like a rookie. A very talented rookie, but a rookie just the same. Carmelo has shown a hell of alot more poise in a tougher conference. Don't get me wrong, Dwayne Wade is pretty damn good, but Carmelo is better. And he is scoring option 2 at least, most of the time number one since he is the guy with the ball.

The fuck?! Apparently he forgot to say "Who's a good cripple? You are! That's right; you are, you adorable little thing! Cootchie cootchie coo!" He's lost my potenial vote and a lot of others unless he redeems himself pretty goddamn fast. The Joe Scarboroughs, Bill O'Reillys and Sean Hannitys across the nation can/will have a field day with this. Fucked up economy, fucked up internationl relationships, fucked up health care, and the guy lost your vote over a pat on the head, huh?

I am embarassed that ABC folded like some little bitches on the issue. I would have just said fuck all of you and moved on. It was obviously a race issue that SOME GROUPS started bitching about...but is it really a suprise that someone from "Project Islamic Hope" would be racist? But here we go again with BLACK PEOPLE ARE RACIST~!...refusing to separate this asshole groups from the individuals. And Timberlake has obviously been influenced by alot of the older Mo town sounds. He would have been a good person to host. I hope they get Jamie Fox now so the show will suck. And Ant, whats up with blowing up that talentless tone def ass Jon B. You know the difference between Jon B and Timberlake, Justin has never gotten on televison professing how much finer black women are than any other women while dating a white girl just to get a pop from the audience. Justin has actual vocal skill and doesn't sound like an American Idol low-light with out the studio magick that Jon B used. The guy makes Tyra Banks sound like Whitney Houston in comparison. Not liking Timberlake is one thing, but to say that he wasn't influenced by alot of the Performers from Mo Towns past(hell everyone and their mother calls him a MJ rip off) is just plain ridiculous.
