When you get to the highest stages the race starts and this weird noise happens and one car goes into warp speed and its over. HOW could you get first place in it after that. Then there are the boards where the entire fucking thing is a oil slick....I hated that game...yet I couldn't put it down. And I thought everyone could take the underwater scene in turtles. Most times I could get through with one turtle. Use Mike through the stages before it, Donny on the bosses(since he was the strongest) and you would have basically all of your guys at full strengh before the stage started.

I never found the underwater bomb stage to be THAT hard. I would almost lose one turtle, finish it with another and be done. Then get that Turtle killed on the next stage and go rescue him from that building on the level on the way to save Splinter. The Battle toads board...EVIL. Although I still can hear that sound of a turtle getting hit on the original game and that alarm when you were about to die. That is what nightmares are made of.
