D is the most correct statement in this freakin thread. THAT is one fine woman.
-
Why would anyone have to put that in their mind to remember. How often do you get the oppertunity to use that word. I personally am trying to forget alot of words that I know just because I is wasting valuble mind space for happy childhood memories or what I did with my tounge that time to make that girl go wild... ... Maybe I should have left that last on out.

If you are ranting on her trying to get attention, hey, there are picture of COCKS here. Its not like personal things about posters is breaking the norm around here. If you essence of the beef is that she was a punk ass, fine. But you are going off on her like she is posted this in an attempt to be the weak woman like we are going to come on a plane and give her lavish gifts and chocolate. She posted a story, she freaked out. Big freakin deal. I personally don't see the difference between being in high speed chase and getting your purse snatched, yet people weep and cry over that. Some are more emotional than others. And you might be right. If a guy put the crying part, I would point and laugh. But conversly, we have had posters tell their manly stories of how they beat the ever loving shit out of a locker because they were pissed or punched themselves in the face...you know...like a MAN...and i have called them idiots. But if you post you kicked a door in because you were mad...I'd be pretty impressed. Then I would come to DC and go to a bar with you and find the roughest guy I could see and walk up to him and say "Hey, that lady over there said you were Richard Simmons. I don't think that is cool, you should go pummel her." just so I could see you beat the hell out of guys for my pleasure. So is there a double standard...yes. Do I have issues. Maybe. But that would be kick ass to see. I had too much caffine this morning.
-
And Chave, if this did happen to me, I would have jumped from car to car like a action movie as a buddy took the wheel, beat the shit out of everyone in the other car, throwing them out of the moving vehicle, until the last guy and myself got into a life or death fight, and then we see a wall approaching so kick him one more good time and leap back into my car through the sunroof and the last guy in the car would do a SCREAMING VILLAN FACEĀ® like Cyrus on Con Air as the car hit the wall and it would blow up and then I would stop my car and walk off slowly with my coat blowing in the air as the walking theme from Incredible Hulk(the TV show) plays. But thats just me.

If this had been, for example, Ripper in the same situation, I wouldn't have been any harsher on him for not getting the number. Yeah, if she wasn't after attention, she probably wouldn't have posted it on this board, but that's no reason to flame her for freaking out about this situation. Just flame her because you don't like her for her stereotypical feminity (such as looking for attention, doing the whole "woe is me" bit) instead of using this situation as an excuse. Oh come on, in essesence everything we post on this board is attempt to attention if you look at it in that respect. We all have posted stuff that has happend to us. There is a freakin thread full of the cocks of members for christ sake. Marneys giving her more hell over what happend to her over the COCK SHOTS thread. What the mutherfucking fuck?

If it were a guy that never had anything like this happen before and they freaked out, no I would be "Get a set you pussy" to them either. You act as if getting chased is a natural everyday occurance. She was put in a situation she was not prepared for and didn't handle it in the most perfect manner. "OMG, HOW DARE YOU BE IMPERFECT!!!!!". While I am sure that you would have pulled over and went all Matrix on their asses (and if you would be wearing a leather body suit like in the movie, I want pics) but another half of the population would have freaked out. Others would have calmly gotten the plate. Others would have laughed and flipped them off. Others would have shot the car to shit. People handle situations differently. You are curbing her because she didn't handle it "The Marney way"...ok the Marney way is the smart way, but I guarentee that you have done something or handled a situation incorrectly in your life that you looked back on and said "I could have handled that better." (well you would have said it with bigger words and more cursing, but basically the same thing). I would cite a example but you don't share to many life experiences. You almost act like this is a message board and not a place to tell complete stragers all the intimate occurances of your life. Whats your problem anyway missy? Get with the program. All the cool kids are doing it. *pops colla because he is cool*

Those two parts got me. And I have to admit the ass thumbed and cock palmed went right by me the first time.
-
Just to be clear, was this an insult towards me? And is Marney insulting the entire female populace a bit too much on the sexist side, or does it fall under the similar precedent of black folk using the "n" word? Not a insult. More of a "I have no idea how to respond to this so I write stuff...+1" And I don't think the N-word precedent is the same. Women aren't likely to kick the ever loving shit out of you for using those words.

I'd beg to differ. While I enjoy both flicks immensely, Lost in Translation didn't leave me with that "WOW" element when it was all said and done. I was able to know (at that time) that Lost in Translation was the best film I'd seein in 2003 but it was more because I couldn't think of any of film that left me as satisfied (the torch bearer being Matrix Reloaded before that). Kill Bill was completely different. This movie not only left me satisfied at the end, it managed to make me think "this is great" more times than I can count during the actual movie. It's not just a matter of new shock stimuli that was keeping me going, there were so many elements to the flick like the tribute pieces I brought up in a previous post and that fantastic score (that has got to win some kind of award) that kept me hooked right from the get go. I can only suspect that Lost In Translation may be something that will age better than Kill Bill over the years because the second viewing of each will reap completley countering results (I havne't watched Kill Bill a second time but I'll be interested to read people's 2nd impression thoughts because the shock value will be gone). In the meantime, I stand by my thoughts that Kill Bill was the best movie of 2003. I didn't see lost in traslation but if the performances in the previews do it any justice(and every reviewer on the green earth has said that it does) I think Mystic River might just come alone and nab the "Best of" for the year.

WHAT EVA', I'll go back and get a 90. Stop trying to out-lowscore me!

The sentence made less and less sense as it went on. Wierd. I was so prepared to laugh my ass off, because it started off so well. Then I just had this half smile and stare at the screen. I too am confused.

OMGF~! SEXISM, BAN PLZ~! This certainly was...well...a collection of letters... that formed various words. Yep. It certainly was.

I got a 127 so rejoice that someone got lower than you. Of course I got a 181 on a real one when I was in the 9th grade, but those things aren't really a grade of intelligence anyway. If you can get patterns pretty well, are pretty good in math, and know lots of usless information, you too can be considered a genius.

What are your favorite death scenes of all-time?

Docs "BILLY!!!!!... Lets finish the game" in young guns 2 is still sumthin. Shane dead on the horse riding off in "Shane" good ending. -
I have never found trish to be over the top Pretty. Shes cute I guess. She isn't Vicky or Molly pretty but she is cute. It might be the ass chin.

You know, there are somethings you can live down and get past. One of those things is not the subject of asshair. No matter how long we all post at this board, when Game makes a post, the rebuttal can be brought back to the ass-hair. Game/Asshair = Jason Biggs/Pie Fucking...

Did it turn you on? Shit, it turned ME on. Dames Yeah, it did. Because as we all know every single homosexual out there tries to "convert" every even vaguely cute heterosexual he or she can find. No matter what the circumstances. It's part of our agenda, after all. Get a fucking clue. All heterosexuals try to convert any cute homosexual back to our team. Its a tug of war, baybee....that we lose all the time. Why do people fight. Well, half of the world in made up of disrespectful assholes and the other half are normal people. When the two collide, fights happen. I personally can't see my grown ass brawling with anyone anymore. I mean, I was in the mall with my ex once and this guy basically started hitting on her with me standing there. Now my mind automatically says "Hit him in the face with the big metal chair and go see if Macy's has a sell on dress shirts because I need a new one." But then the "I'm grown" comes out and I just walk away. It is hard to fight the "make them all bleed" tendacies that existed years ago, but they are slowly dieing. I figure by the time I hit 30, basically all of my overly violent tendacies will be gone and I will be teaching my kids to not do what I did. So goes life.

In her defense, it is hard to get a lisence plate when the car is FOLLOWING you. She got put in a strange situation for her and got scared. It is a human reaction. You will either react well and calmly or you will act frantically or scared(or you will just shoot this shit out of them...one of the three). I say she didn't display a ungodly amount of ass pansies on this one to get the punkass label stamped on her forhead... ... I'm not quite sure if that last sentence made sense. It is way to early for this.
-
So... Why DO you hate everyone? How DARE she get scared when someone chases her? Well, obviously she's never been through something like that and it shook her up a little. I personally didn't get scared the last time I got mugged, but does that mean that anyone that does is a pussy. She didn't get a lisence plate on a speeding car at 2 a.m. Its not too wacky that it might happen. Geez, get your foot off her throat and let her tell a story with out the verbal bitch slapping. "OMG, SHE DIDN"T HANDLE A STRANGE SITUATION PERFECTLY!!!! CURSE HER!!!"

Is it just me, or does Angel seem to be making a slow change from the dark angst the series was known for into more comical, colorful, Buffy-type adventures? Not complaining, as that spoiler preview seems like it'll be funny as hell, just an observation. The Spike Ghost Thing: there is NO good way to explain it, period. Dozens or hundreds of movies, TV shows, books, video games, etc. have portrayed ghosts as being completely unable to touch anything physically, walking through walls and all that, but they still seem able to stand or sit on anything they like. It's a fuckup that's commonly used for storytelling purposes. Just accept it. And oh yeah, saw OMWF for the first time myself, and jesus holy christ, that's maybe one of the best episodes of any TV show I've ever encountered. I was surprised by some of the cast's vocal abilities. Tara's sappy numbers got kinda old, and I wish Dawn would've sung more (and am thankful that Willow didn't), but Spike had a shockingly good voice, as did Anya; Giles did about as well as expected, and Buffy and Xander did better than I thought they would. Favorite highlight: Anya's freakout solo blaming little bunny rabbits for all the evil in the world. Question: are all the songs from this episode available on CD to buy? Tara's first song was sappy only if you didn't look at the incredible amount of irony in it seeing as Willow actually had her under a spell. Plus when you looked at her words, you see how she equated everything good in her life to being because Willow was there. Then later in the show when she finds out about her betrayal that makes it that much more painful for her. The very thing she thinks made her special betrayed her and she had to leave her. Plus her and ASH singing "Wish i could stay" was some awsome stuff.

I'd just like to say that I have better hair than everyone in here.
