Erm...dude Blake led the ACC(IIRC) in assists and points last year so at least Blake can play PG. Did you watch Blake play? Unless he was just scoring because he had too, he is a offensive machine. Here is what I guess the starting line up will be: Arenas Hughes Stackhouse Brown Haywood Not much passing but pretty good. then the bench. PG- Blake SG- Dixon SF-Hayes PF-uh...Latner? C- White Latner is the best passer out there then...sad really. I just don't think this team is better than 7 of the teams that made it last year and with a Healthy Carter, they won't beat the Raptors. Who do you guys think are falling out of the playoffs. To be honest I see: Nets Pistons Celtics Pacers Sixers Hornets Orlando Raptors thats the playoffs. I actually think that Miami will have a better record than the Wiz...this is all barring any injuries ofcourse.

I watched Arenas play the entire season. He doesn't pass the ball unless it is a called play. His assist totals were COMPLETELY from him just entering the ball to the post to Jamison. He didn't run the offense, he was a streak shooter, and simply would NEVER PASS. Why do you guys think Earl Boykins closed out all the games. If Arenas is such a BEAST, why wasn't he ever their. Don't get me wrong, the guy is good, but he is basically Juan Dixon with a few more inches. Gilbert Arenas PG 0-0 0 Jan. 6, 1982 Arizona 0 Steve Blake PG 6-3 172 Jan. 17, 1981 Maryland 23 Mitchell Butler SG 6-5 210 Dec. 15, 1970 UCLA 3 Juan Dixon G 6-3 164 Oct. 9, 1978 Maryland 21 Adam Harrington G 6-5 200 Jul. 5, 1980 Auburn 20 Larry Hughes PG 6-5 184 Jan. 23, 1979 St. Louis 12 Kenny Satterfield PG 6-2 170 Apr. 10, 1981 Cincinnati 42 Jerry Stackhouse GF 6-6 218 Nov. 5, 1974 North Carolina 12 Chris Whitney G 6-0 175 Oct. 5, 1971 Clemson Now, out of that group, who plays like anything resembling a point guard? Each and everyone of them are two guards and all of them fire on sight(well, satterfield and harrington probably won't make the team). THAT is the problem. Anyone that watched the Warriors play knows that Arenas is JUST like Dixon and Whitney without the accurate jumpshot. If I'm wrong, hey good. I want Hayes and Brown to do good and get their due. But I just don't think that Guardomania is going to work in the league.

Are they joining the WNBA? No. But I think the combination of the new Coach (Eddie Jordan) and Gilbert Arenas will at least get them the 7th or 8th seed this year. I give everyone 2-3 weeks before everyone realises that Gilbert Arenas is a ballhogging undersized two guard and along with the other 8 two guards on the team, they will go nowhere. Seeing as the Knicks have 7 PF and the Wizards have like 7 Two Guards, they really need to negotiate a trade. I do think that Jarvis Hayes COULD be the rookie of the year, but with Arenas, Stackhouse, and Hughes on the team, he might not get the ball let alone enough PT to show what he can do.

Is it possible to get murder one without premeditation? Or is murder one decided upon the nature of the crime and/or its intent?

Oh, I don't care. i was just looking out for you. It should be fine though.

I think everyone misinterpreted my first post as I would LIKE RVD and Rhyno to quit and join NWA TNA. What I mean is, you keep dropping little tidbits about how Vince doesn't like blah and blah, when you are a partial owner of a rival(?) promotion, there could be alterior motives.

I know you're a gimmick poster, but on the off chance that you really talk that and are serious, allow me to remind you that brevity is the soul of wit. No one wants to read that much shit about your name being TheLukester... we can see that when we look six inches to the left. Oh and the secret to being well liked around here is talking about [some stuff] an overzealous mod might consider this flame baiting...only you are baiting him to other posters...or something...I can't remember what I was trying to say, but you might want to edit that to be safe.

Fred Phelps to put anti-gay monument @ public park
Ripper replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
Because this young man was the perfect face for what intolorance can lead to. Just as ...jesus, I can't remember his name and my mom would kick my ass right now if she knew, but the young black boy that was beaten to death for looking(or whistling) at a white woman was the line that everyone drew and he became the poster child for the racial intolorance. Whites and blacks together wept when they heard the story of how this child was beaten. With Sheppard, those that believed that homosexuality was not immoral and those that did both came together and saw how ugly the hatred can be. It WAS bigger than a young man getting killed for his wallet. This is the case that led many to start to teach their children tolorance and that it is okay to not agree with this, but to hate is wrong. You want to know how much of a difference it made? This "We don't hate gays, we hate what they do." thing wasn't as wide spread amoung the christian community before this crime. It opened everyones eyes. -
Fuck anyone for going to school on my tax dollars and leeching off the system while they're in this country illegally and getting paid under the table. If someone wants to come to America the right way, then they deserve their piece of the pie at dinner. But anyone who's here illegally who just leeches off the money provided by honest taxpayers is a fucking thief. What if they are paying taxes? Most immigrant, illegal or not, are working and paying taxes. If we today just went and wiped out every illegal immigrant in California alone, would you be happy and fine that you probably would have a tough time finding many fresh fruits & vegetables in your local grocery store? If you grow your own than I guess this question does not apply. See that is the biggest myth around, that illegal immigrants are just crossing the border, signing up for welfare and state benefits, and living. Immigrants have and are currently doing a lot more for to help the economy than people think. I know there are exceptions to this rule. I know you can probably go look up some article that talks about cases of a few hundred here or there doing exactly the opposite of what I stated, so go ahead if you want to, however it is not the majority. There are legal ways to work and live in the US. These people just choose not to do that. Illegal immigrants are just that 'illegal' and they should be deported. Becoming a citizen in this country has become EXTREMELY difficult actually. Thats why many don't persue the legal ways, usually get a temporary Visa and just stay. The reason the government honestly doesn't go after Illegals because the make up over a billion dollars put back into our economy every year. To rid this nation of every illegal would do more than a little damage to this country and its economy. I will say this. I live in Atlanta and we have a HUGE mexican immigrant population. I have seen alot of things while living in this city but not once have I seen a Mexican begging for money. I have seen plenty of day workers who are out getting work, but I have yet to see one of these "community killing" immigrants(like some around here call them) begging. That says alot to me.

If I am not mistaken, he was ahead of the group that planned to picket and protest during Fred Rodgers funeral for some asinine reason that I can't even remember. I don't even know if they went through with it, but just having him all over the news when talking about why they would protest taking away from the fact that a GREAT man had just passed pissed me off to no end. http://www.post-gazette.com/columnists/200...ny107col2p2.asp This guy gives the gist of what the guy did. -
I think Collison is out for the season. But I think that they will definately be the 8 seed(someone has to take Utahs spot) and the addition of Antonio Daniels will be bigger than anyone thinks it will. With shooters like Barry and Allen, you are never out a game. Danials can create for himself, and they have decent rebounders and defenders inside. They should do fine.

I am buying tickets to this fucker funeral when he dies just so his family and supporters can get what Fred Rodgers and his family and Matthew Sheppard got when they were laying their loved ones to rest. -
In other news, Rhyno sucks anyways! HEY!! Rhyno literally carried Jerhico to a very good match, had a INCREDIBLE match against the Rock on RAW, and gave the Hardcore division arguably its greatest match. That guy can perform. He just needs to gain some of that weight he lost back so it would be reasonable to see him as a RHINO again.

Is this really relevant if Mumia shot first, which is consistent with the eye-witness testimony. Basically, the eyewitnesses all say that they heard a shot and saw Faulkner go down. From there, no one knows how Mumia got shot, but it's clear that he did, and then Mumia shot Faulkner in the face. And bad legal counsel doesn't fly since Mumia defended himself. Thats where the problem lies. Balistics say that Faulkner HAD to be standing when he fired the shot. All of the witnesses say they heard a shot and Faulkner went down....something doesn't match. Of course the fact that Faulkner was shot in the back doesn't help but could be easily argued that he rolled when on the ground. The fact that the eyewitnesses claim to have seen Mumia run across the street and to the officer(basically claiming to see the whole thing) but never seeing him being shot, when the shot had to come when he was standing, is a pretty easy way for the defense to refute their testimony. But of course Mumia was a jackass and ran away the good councel he had, so fuck him.

The only reason that movie looks bad to you guys is because "Feel Good" movies, and I am guessing here, aren't exactly your cup of tea. I had no idea what movie you were talking about that movie at first, but after reading the thread, I remembered seeing the preview. It looks like another "feel good" family film.
-
I think the fact that Mumia was sitting in a cab across the street lends itself to being a bit premeditated, but I'm not quite sure. Tyler: Wow, you hold grudges for a long time, don't you? So he had his brother intentionally speed and then hope he was pulled over, and then instead of shooting him from a safe distance with a rifle, he got up real close, shot him with his own gun, and did so in enough time to give Faulkner enough time to get a shot off in self-defense? Surely there are easier ways to kill a policeman. Not speeding. Wrong way down one way street. I think that Mumia saw his brother in trouble and went to help. IMO, if he had shot Faulkner just the one time, it would be "in the heat of the moment" type thing and not first-degree murder. Perhaps second-degree or manslaughter. However, since he stood over Faulkner's body, and fired several times, it's first degree. But like I said, that's just me. Yeah, but seeing as he(Mumia) was shot, any lawyer worth a shit could have argued justifiable homicide or at least gotten him life. Especially when no eyewitness saw the officer shoot him, they could have argued that he was shot first. i might be bullshit, but its just about planting a seed for reasonable doubt.

Well, you would have earned it. Don't call her a whore because YOU slept with her...what does that make you....? One more tugboat sunk into the big ol' stink bay, with the corpses of dead sailors still piling up on the ocean floor? Actually though, I think of when a guys, who are constantly looking for more sex, call women "whores" because they can get all the sex they want...thats just plain jealousy.

Thanks benoitrulz4life, I honestly never knew that. Good thing this thread stayed on track and gave me a chance to learn something new.

I tells ya, the thoughts I had about that woman in she was in Prince's "Get Off" and "Diamond and Peals" video....the thoughts I had.

Well, I haven't seen the one for Radio, but I think that House of the Dead will be a fun little romp... ... and your avatar looks like a guy forcing some other guy to give him oral pleasure...I'm disturbed...and facinated?....no...no that's just disturbed.

In other news, If RVD and RHYNO quit the WWE, NWA TNA would welcome them with open arms and give them the pushes they deserve. Credit: 1wrestling.com in the near future.

For shame to everyone who didn't get it.

Yeah, but Dru made more sense taunting Spike than Angel did...of course the Master and Mayor Wilkins made absolutely no sense whatsoever but hey...its my excuse for the show and I'm sticking to it.

Because he doesnt' have the quickness to defend opposing point guards. They saw that in the summer league as quick players would blow by him like he wasn't standing there, but he could defend two guards. They have to have someone in there that can stay infront of the points, seeing as they have no legit shotblocker in the middle.
