I personally don't buy that some of the west teams records would be as good if they played in the east. Basketball is about matchups. Some of those damn near 50 win pace teams might just be worse if they changed coast and had to matchup with the more forward heavy East instead of the guard heavy west.

I say SO. I don't see why the East should be penalized because there is more parity there.

Oh no dude. Fuck that. This is the end of my starwars experience. No Clone Wars cartoon, no new Clone Wars movie, no video games, none of that. I am done. 6 movies is enough. And I think the cry was perfect. he thought he killed the love of his life. And it fit the Anakin's character. Sure, 20 years later(or however long the space was between sith and new hope, he would be a cold ass mean dude. But right then the most important thing to him was gone.

Nonsense. For 1 thing, everything w/ Jango Fett ruled hard. Jedi's low point are the Ewoks & the brother/sister thing (and the new dance routine in Jabba's palace). Other than that, I can't complain much about the movie. Plus, Jedi had the series's best space battle. Oh yeah...what the fuck was that dance routine thing? Ugh.

I REALLY don't get the big deal on the NOOOOOOOO thing. I mean, that joke was everywhere. I knew that was coming almost as much as I knew that Vader was Lukes father. Whats the big deal?

So overall, this six movie watching experience was pretty cool. I have no desire to ever watch New Hope or Phantom Menace again. New Hope just wasn't enjoyable, Phantom Menace was just fucking bad. The last two movies combined in the first trilogy were overall stronger than the last two in the second Trilogy, but that is mostly because of the piss poor writing when it came to the LOVE between Skywalker and Padme. He should have called someone else in for that one. It had to come off as the greatest love of all for this guy to basically sell his soul for her, and it came off as flat. But it didn't drag it down so much that I didn't love them. So. Overall thoughts: R2 fucking rules. Gold bikini lives up to hype. Natalie Portman is fucking beautiful. I wouldnt' even call her hot because I don't like them skinney girls but she is just beautiful. Hayden Christiansian(whatever) did a great job acting in these movies and I think his performances were underrated, mostly because of the bad dialogue. The Vader Revel was awesome even though you know exactly what he looks like. What the fuck was the big deal with the NOOOOOOOOOOOO. He thinks he killed the love of his life and the reason for his switch to the darkside(and for his getting burned the fuck up). What the hell was he supposed to say? I gotta say, this isn't the greatest experience in sci fi I have ever seen. And I have to say again, I still think Serenity was the best space movie that year Sith came out (and Sith is great) so I don't think it was that blasphemous to say. I will probably watch this again and I do feel the need to discuss some of this crap so I guess I got somewhat hooked. I am happy I watched them.

Episode I – The Phantom Menace Well…this was…something. First the good. I liked the pod race…um…I liked R2 being the shit as always. Ewan as Obi Wan was great as was Liam as Qui-Gon Jinn. Plus the light saber fight between the two and Darth Maul…mutha fuckin awesome. So…the bad. Pretty much the rest of it. That fucking kid was annoying. I wanted to find George Lucas and punch him in his fucking face for that Jar Jar character. I was expecting him to just say “Yesah boss, you wants me ta dance fo ya?” at any given moment. What the FUCK was that all about. Poor Natalie Portman having to have sexual chemistry with a 10 year old. The dialogue seems to go back to the original in how bad it was. Then they kill Darth Maul. He was one of the best things about the movie and there is no more Darth Maul to look forward to? The high points were really, really high. The low points were really, really low. This was just a very forgettable movie… I give this one a 2 out of 5. Almost squeezed a 3 out of it just because of the saber fight and Liam and Ewan were just that awesome. Episode II – Attack of the Clones Once again, the second movie kicks it up. Now, even though I didn’t see the movies, I remember all the jokes about how bad the chemistry between Portman and Hayden was. Well, I don’t know if it was so much the chemistry as it was the shitty dialogue they had to spew. Even though, I liked both of them in their roles. And let me say it now that if Portman didn’t do anything else in these movies, she was absolutely stunning. Just simply beautiful in basically every scene. One think I didn’t like about Skywalker's character is that he had no real reason to be such an angsty little bitch. Like, I would understand if he was less of a bitch before finding out about his mother, but he was pretty much just as bitchy the entire movie and had no real reason to be. Maybe it was his character, but usually when you have a whiney bitch character, it is understandable. His family was killed, and he got bitchy. Not him. Just bitchy. That is a character flaw though. The performance, I liked it. His “I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I HATE THEM!” That shit was fucking AMAZING. From then on out, I couldn’t give a shit about any flaw in his performance. That one scene was that good. Also, Yoda breaking out the Light Saber…all kinds of awesome. That whole Saber fight was pretty freaking good. Christopher Lee as Count Dooku was great. That guy can just play evil. And limbs flying off is always a good thing for me. Anakin’s half KINDA drug, Obi’s was great. And I liked the idea that all the storm troopers were just clones of Jango Fett. Oh…and apparently Boba Fett was supposed to be important or something. He is basically a storm trooper that grew up normally. Cool. It was around this part that I realized the chancellor was the emperor. I knew he was evil in the first on, but I was completely sold on who he was in this one. He was shifting at a snail’s pace to evil, but it became pretty clear here. This was a very solid movie to me. Yoda, the Chancellor and Ewan all were highlights, Hayden’s “I killed them all” delivery and Natalie Portman’s classic beauty all stuck out. The bad dialogue and horrible “love” scenes were just annoying, but they were able to be ignored by me because they were surrounded by awesome like the car chase and stuff. I give this movie 4 out of 5. I was thoroughly entertained. And while I know when watching it, there was some stuff I didn’t completely care for; I couldn’t remember them when the movie was over due to all the awesome going around. Episode III – The Sith is in the BUILDING Fuck yeah. This was fucking awesome. This was just a great movie. From the attack at the start, the killing of Dooku, the Chancellor OBVIOUSLY the emperor if you missed it before, R2 just fucking people UP (did I mention that I love that little trashcan) Yoda vs. the emperor ….everything. Even Hayden’s look was awesome. There were some down points. Portman’s character went from tough, ready to die queen to cry faced pussy in this one and was kinda regulated to a background role. His love for her should have been more to the forefront since the entire reason he was going to the dark side was to save her. My other problem was that he kinda dove too far into the dark side too quickly. Like, he was torn and eventually chose when he fucked up Windu(great scene by the way, even if the chancellor/emperor was a little over the top with the “HE IS KILLING ME” screaming) But I felt that he should have been just a little torn somewhat in killing a bunch of kids (also awesome) and betraying people. It just seems he should have shown a little pause in some of the actions and some of the things he was asked to do. But those are my only real gripes. Obi wan was all kinds of awesome in this one, Ewan just gave an incredible performance all the way through the films. I loved his fight with general what’s his face, and his fight with Vader at the end. Him screaming about him being the chosen one was an awesome scene. The ending was sadish, although you knew it was happening. But how the fuck does Leia remember what her mother looks like? She was a minute old when she died. But she remembers her being sad…what the fuck was that all about? Maybe she was talking about her adoptive mother? They tied everything up together pretty well (I was wondering why C-3PO didn’t know who Obi Wan was in New Hope) and all in all a damn good movie. I give this one 5 out of 5. For the genre, it is pretty perfect outside of some nagging storytelling elements. But while watching it, I never really cared about these things. Just a great movie.

The Lakers are destroying the Hawks. The refs have been horrible though. The hawks were down around 41. With good reffing they would have been down 25. So yeah, they were going to take a ass kicking regardless. The offense looks horrible.

That would make the team better. Although I would find that hilarious. And I don't think the Wizards would do it. They already have Jamison at the PF position and i don't think Lamar is as effective at the SF. I still remember arguing with Laker fans about how good Caron Butler was and how stupid it was to get rid of him. He was the Scottie for Kobe's MJ right there and they gave it away for nothing. If that trade went through, the Lakers would become THE team to beat rather than one of the teams to beat like they are now. Oh please.

So, as I probably mentioned on here before, I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies. I am pretty sure they wanted to burn me at the stake when I was in school to become a animator, because saying you haven’t seen these movies is the equivalent of saying you would fuck the Virgin Mary while at Catholic school or something. Well, I had a long weekend. I also went into a DVD store that was closing down and was able to buy all of the movies for 4.95 each. So I made the 30 dollar investment, bought a bunch of junk food and decided I was going to watch all 6 episodes and see what all the fuss was about. I tried to decide which order to watch them in. I decided to watch them in the order they were released, since that is how the public saw them when they caused a worldwide orgasm. Episode Four: A New Hope Well…I got to tell ya…I was pretty unimpressed. Sure, I appreciated the amazing graphic work for its time (although I apparently got some updated version because some of the shit in there was obviously modern 3D Animation). Also this was a great story. And hell, I can even deal with the bad acting and dialogue (it’s a sci-fi movie. Looking for great acting in it is like looking for great acting and dialogue in a Jackie Chan movie. It’s just not happening). The overall cheesiness of it is what got me. I understand that kids were in mind while making this movie too, so I won’t complain too hard. But some stuff like Solo just randomly showing up to save Luke’s ass at the end was just…ugh. And C3PO was just annoying as all hell. But besides those little tiny things, this was a pretty good movie. I would have liked to see Luke give a little more of a shit about his aunt and uncle being killed. There was no reason to be all giddy a few scenes later after your surrogate parents have been killed you little asshole. Also, I would have liked if they had shown more of a relationship between Obi Wan and Luke. As it stood, it was like kinda just knew of some old dude named Ben Kenobi. Then later he is getting all bitch faced over him dying. He showed more emotion over him dying than his fucking kinda-parents. Princess Leia was in a constant pissed off mood, so with her planet being blown up, I expected her emotions to stay the same. Overall I give this movie 3 out of 5 stars. Decent movie. Not great… not bad…just in between somewhere. Episode Five: Um…something or other. Okay, this is either the Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi. Finding out which would require me to either search for it on the internet or make me get up and get the DVD cover and fuck that. You know what the hell I am talking about. Insert the right name up there. This was better than the first one to me. I liked pretty much everything about this movie. The acting was better, the story moved along well. Vader got all bad ass, Yoda was cool for a Kermit sounding muppet. Nothing to complain about here. Who am I bullshitting? I can complain about anything. I don’t think there was enough of a build up to lead to the Vader vs. Luke throw down. I mean, at the time, Luke was still pretty much some little bitch ass farm boy who learned one or two moves and of course got his ass kicked. That’s all I really want to complain about though. I mean, how can you complain when the movie featured Han getting all goldfingered, Luke losing a hand (really didn’t see that coming) and attempting to just kill himself and Billy Dee Williams’ hair? After feeling like I wouldn’t give a shit about this series and being ready to call all of you weird nerds, this got me into it. Once again, strong story, weak acting and dialogue but with a definite step up over the previous movie. I give this movie a 4.5-5. They lose half a point for the quickie fight. Episode VI – The one that isn’t named above… This was a good end to the saga. I liked the Jabba the Hut stuff, although it ran a little too long for my liking. Also, what was up with Boba Fett? It just seemed like I was supposed to give more of a shit about him. Instead he died like a bitch when a big plant ate him…yeah. He seemed cool enough though. I liked Luke in this movie. He was all calm and collective, but also gangsta as all fuck. Telling people that this is YOUR last chance before I kill you all when you are completely surrounded? Gangsta. Although he did look like he had plastic surgery to correct a hair lip in this one. Weird. Also, after hearing about this whole gold bikini thing, I was still impressed. Just didn’t think that Carrie Fisher had that going on underneath those robes from the other movies. NICE. Completely pointless and exploitive, but NICE. The Yoda death scene almost crossed the line to being funny. I was like “Okay, just die, not Kermit”. Plus fuck him and Obi Wan for not telling Luke that Vader was his dad. That shit getting sprung on you during a saber fight is just plain fucked UP. And since Obi Wan can appear all over the fucking place, why not show up and be a distraction so I don’t get my fucking arm cut off? Oh and Leia is Luke’s sister? And she always had a feeling? So why the fuck was she kissing him and shit earlier. EWW. And Luke wanted her when he first saw her. EWWWWWW. And she was obviously older than him in the first movie for them to be twins…but whatever. SUSPENSION OF BELIEF or something or other. Anyway, that last plan was pretty dumb, but it worked. Han getting all misty eyed over leaving the Falcon with Billy Dee and his hair was touching. Wookie’s were cute and that ONE that dies (ONE FUCKING WOOKIE DIED) was pretty sad. I haven’t mentioned them yet, but I liked Chewbacca and LOVED R2-D2. That little no line having garbage can was awesome. The final battle between Luke and Vader was pretty awesome, as was the Emperor who you would think would have been annoying, but he was just so deliciously evil, I couldn’t hate the guy. I loved the face turn at the end and him killing the Emperor. Just a pretty kickass ending. And that last shot of Yoda, Obi wan and younger gayer looking Vader was awesome, but how come Vader gets to be all young and hippie haired in his spirit self while Obi and Yoda have to be all old. That’s pretty fucked. I give this move 4.5 out of 5. Another great movie and way to close out this trilogy. I will put the next set in my next post.

Lakers have to play the NEW LOOK HAWKS the night before...er...tonight. That should be a interesting game. Horford pretty much bitchified the Laker front line last time, but I think that was a case of them just having no idea what that kid brings to the table coming in. Plus Kobe is going to try and go for 100 just because of that shit-tastic game he had last time. so this game will depend on how well Bibby shoots the ball and if acquiring him will get the sand out of Joe Johnsons vagina.

Because Woodson started Anthony Johnson, then brought Tyronne Lue off the bench for him and occasionally Acie would get in the game after him (despite out playing them both in my eyes). Now, both those guys are gone, so he is by default the backup point guard and not sharing time with Lue. Especially since Mike Woodson would apparently cut off his own penis before he gave Salim Stoudmire minutes. So we now have a two point guard rotation instead of 3.

I really can't grasp the people handing the Lakers a better chance at the finals over the suns right now. I just don't get it. I guess I never will. If the Suns hadn't have traded Marion, i don't think the Lakers could have beaten them in a series. With the Shaq trade, I still don't think they could beat the Suns. I will believe it when I see it. But, oh yeah. HELL THE FUCK YES FOR THE BIBBY TRADE. I don't give a SHIT if Bibby doesn't even play. They got rid of Tyronne Lue. Doesnt fix all the hawks problems(woodson is still a moron and Joe Johnson is still a bitch), but it gives Acie Law more consistant minutes, and gives us a shooter at the point.

I wouls like to point out the comedy of cutting a guy who has been a rock solid player for the team since he has been here because one coach, who happened to quit on you mid season, had a problem with him. Its not like there are plenty of Pro Bowl caliber TE's just floating around out there. I understand cutting a guy you can actually replace, but Crump is probably a top 5-8 TE in the game. Unless they think Kellen Winslow is about to get cut or something, what the hell are they thinking?
