The Star Wars movies, Jurassic Park and the Incredibles all ran his numbers up. And had little part in them being successful. Although the "drink of water" scene in Incredibles was great.

The only problem that is going to hit Portland in a few years. Brandon Roy, Lamarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden all are going to be max contract candidates(if Aldridge can stay healthy). Martell Webster is a 4-5 mill a year guy, they are going to have to pay their point guards something... Roy and Aldridge will sign their extensions in the same year and then the next year they are going to have to resign Oden. I don't know if they will be able to afford to keep the team so competitive. But they are are very fun to watch now and will be for the next 3 years.

Seriously, there have been like 8 tracks leaked from The Growth. Its not like the album wasn't done. Def Jam just didn't release. Its like saying Redman was lazy and thats why Red Gone Wild took so long to come out. That shit was done for 2 years. The Def Jam situation just wasn't that great for Joe. They are putting out only the people that they think they will sell big, and honestly, i dont think joey could be a big seller. But seriously I don't see how you can try to blame him for his album not coming out.

I don't think you can say that Eddie Murphy wasn't the reason for the sucess of Shrek. he was the comedy of the movies. Myers was basically the straight man. I am not so sure anyone else could have pulled off Donkey the way he did and I would say that character was probably the biggest reason for the sucess of that franchise.

Fabolous's verse was simply amazing on that song.

I guess someone should have told Soko that, seeing as he repeated corrected people when they tried to downplay what Ike did on that song. People wanted to hate Ike so much that they didn't want him to get any credit for it.

Apparently he should have a private barber because going to a barber shop in the middle of the day means you are trying to draw attention to yourself. Between this and the Jamal Tinsley story, and other stories concerning athletes, I have come to realize that the only acceptable thing for athletes to do is to buy their clothes at the thrift store, drive a pinto, and never buy anything, because if you do, you are just asking to get robbed.

All fucked up wife beating tendacies aside (which were probably made to look worse than they were by the movie, he still beat his wife, thus makes him quite the asshole), the dude was indeed a musical genius. And like most of them, he was probably a pretty fucked up person. But honestly, you owe most of the great music in the last 50 years in some part to Ike Turner.

They might need to check the height of that rim. It might be off a inch or so, because I know some times people blow layups and shoot badly from the freethrow line, but jesus.

Eh. The way he plays every down is why he gets hurt so much. he doesn't rely on technique as much as freakish athletisim and just scratching and clawing his way around his defender. Playing like that is going to have you end up landing in some wierd positions a whole lot of times and twisting ligaments in ways they aren't supposed to twist. Technique guys will always be more durable than the balls to the wall, freak, psycho rushing guys.

Because Foster is unstoppable for like 6 weeks. Then he breaks about 12 bones. Its like having John Abraham. you know he is going to miss 6 games, so you get the most out of him you can and deal with the consequences later.

I get calls from this lady all the time to some girl that house sits for her or something. She leaves messages that are like 5 minutes long, detailing where the key for the house is hidden, that there is food in the fridge, the dogs name and what time it needs to be walked, what time to pick the dog up from the dog day care to bring it home, the alarm code...everything. You would think she would notice the girl NEVER gets her messages, but about once a month, she is at the airport about to leave and letting the girl know all this info over the phone.
