Do you have a close relationship with your family?

We get along. I just hate talking on the phone so I never call anyone. So when I see them, its all good, but I get a bunch of "Hey Stranger!!! Where have you been." Then everyone else starts talking about conversations they have had or thanks for that CD that you sent when I was overseas and I realize that I am kinda the outcast. But whatever. They still love me. How could you not. Am I not awesome. Ripper - Not using question marks today.

FOX Sunday Night - 2007/2008 Season

You know, you have the option to not watch the show. I personally, once again, had no problem with Family GUy.

    Beowulf

The one with Butler kicked ass. It was more of a realistic(as it can be) version of Beowulf. Kinda made you feel sorry for Grendal.

How is the writers hate him thing losing steam. Its completely true. He was a asshole to fans, writers, and teammates for all these years. He is a asshole. No one likes him. If he was a nice guy was accused of the same shit, you wouldn't see this fire and outrage. You would see disappointment.

    This week in the NBA

That shot Durant hit ended the game. ANd he was completely covered and had shot like shit all game. So yeah. Fuck him. A special fuck you goes to Mike Woodson too, who did everything in his power to fuck up here (although PJ's decision making was insane too). Wilkins was great, as was Joe Johnson, but half of both of their points came off HORRIBLE shots. Just jacking it up with someone in your face early in the shot clock. But still. Hell of a performance. ALl I can say is great game, but the Hawks just ran out of guys(Childress and Marvin Williams both fouled out in the 2nd overtime) . I think if Josh Smith or Acie Law had played, this would have been a walk for the Hawks.

Racist, drunks, wife beaters, violent people with sociopathic behavior are all in the Hall. Lets not all of a sudden pretend the hall is some place of great men that happened to be good at baseball. It is full of people that were great at baseball. All of a sudden lying is the ultimate sin that should keep him out. Lets be honest. the only reason Bonds is in the spotlight here is that he is Barry "I am an asshole to all writers" Bonds. They would have gone after him hard, no doubt, but they would have went after him like they did McGuire. Instead people act like he raped their dog or something.

    NFL WEEK ELEVEN- Proving grounds.

A team in the NFC South is going to make the playoff with maybe 7 wins. I am going to have to disagree with him.

    Bonds indicted

Yes, but they can't ban him from baseball because he broke the law. If that was the case, there is some people that need kicking out.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

Most shit they call R&B these days is some up tempo bullshit that annoys the hell out of me. I don't listen to most of it. Keys album is great though. She doesn't have the best singing voice, but it just sounds like she sat down with a piano and sang her heart out at the right tempo. meaning if she was in concert, she won't stop and start doing some new dance move for 15 minutes with a headset on as she lipsyncs her song. That is what R&B is supposed to be. Like Boyz to men. It was 4 dudes, some stools and wanya dropping to his knees screaming at the end of everysong. THATs what I'm talking about.

Taking steroids was always against the rules. They just weren't testing for it. They had a list of substances that they couldn't take. The stuff that Bonds allegedly was on was not on said list. It was against the law, but not against the rules.

There is no way they could ban him from baseball because of this. They would effectively be banning him for lying rather or not he took something when it wasn't against the rules.

How was Mcgwire ever a lock first ballot guy? I think what happens with Rafael Palmeiro would be a better gauge of how it will affect Bonds overall. But I still say there is no chance he won't make it in. It would make the Hall even more laughable(and yes, it is laughable that Pete Rose isn't in it)

    Ghostbusters

From the article and screenshots I gather that it takes place shortly after GhostBusters II, when New York is sucked into a time portal and they have to do all the shit from the first Ghostbusters again.

He is rehabbing Microfracture surgery. he is doing ALOT of work with his legs. Its not all upper body. And in rehabin that surgery you have to do alot of flexability work also. The only problem he is going have is cardio, which he probably isn't getting that much of right now. Plus, I am pretty sure they are saying he put on 30lbs of muscle since the draft camps which was probably the last time any measure of weight was really taken. I am quite sure he hasn't gained 30lbs of muscle in a month.

No, its never regardless of how tone he is. He put on 30lbs of muscle and maintained that body fat percentage? That can only be a good thing. Only thing you should worry about there is if all the extra muscle will effect his midrange game.

Last time I checked, the dude was already in prison. They just spent 4 years trying to get one guy. Yeah...perfectly good use of tax money.

Hamilton is once again a very good defender but he is one of those guys that people just choose to ignore it. Like whenever he plays against a team, the opposing two guard just HAPPENS to be "cold" and turn the ball over alot. I never said he was as good defensively as Kobe, but he definately matches up better with Ray Allen than Kobe, who has enjoyed being Rays bitch for the last couple of years. Kobe is a good defender but he HATES running around screen after screen which is why Hamilton smoked him in that finals and why Allen always has good games against him. The Pistons would have no one to even think about defending Paul Pierce if they were to trade Tayshawn. Hell, who even starts at the SF, let alone defends him. This Piston team right now is the only team in the east to have a chance to beat the Celtics unless some meltdown comes around. Rip on Ray, Tay on Pierce, and Wallace on Garnett. And no, i don't see them making the eastern conference finals. I actually think that the Bulls and Cavs could beat a Kobe included, Tayshawn-less Piston team pretty easily.

    This week in the NBA

Richard Hamilton is a VERY good defender. It gets lost in the fact that he is a offensive weapon. He has alot of energy and can stay in front of most guards. People forget his role in the Kobe shutdown in the NBA finals. Prince is not a "good" defender. He is one of the leagues best defensive players. Kobe is a better defender than Hamilton, but he is not better than Prince in any stretch of the imagination. Prince can routinely guard positions 1-5 and do a decent to great job at all of them. Trading him leaves a gaping hole in the team that would weaken it alot. The Rasheed/Kobe thing I mentioned is how will those two explosive personalities react? How will Rasheed react the first time Kobe barks at him for taking a three. He isn't going to bow his head and run up court like Smush Parker or Vlad or Luke Walton. And the reason you can't change out sheed for Prince is that Sheed is also a monster defender at the rim which lets the Pistons get away with defending one on one and overplaying all over the court. Billups, Mcdyess and Hamilton are the Pistons starters that are expendable and with them still being a good team. Mostly because Prince has been basically running the point alot this year, they still have Stuckey, and Maxiell to replace Mcdyess and Billups(while Stucky would be a step down, with Kobe on the team, all you would need is a guy that can defend and hit the open shot at the PG position). I say again, only the Suns and the Bulls can put together a decent package for Bryant and still be competetive enough to win a championship.

    Digital Sound

Once again...seroiusly, there is no difference. There is no way you heard a difference between the two because it doesn't exist. And I think Moles point is why would you have a DVD player and the PS3 there. You don't need the DVD player thus having coaxial isn't actually a problem. But you already bought optical so thats fine.

    This week in the NBA

I personally don't think its a good trade at all. The pistons lose defensively, and offensively they already have two guys that will demand a double (billips on the post, Rasheed on the Post). Plus the whole Kobe/Rasheed dynamic.

    NFL WEEK ELEVEN- Proving grounds.

Just staying in that game? Half of the AFC East is on IR so I think the Pats could win that one. I mean, if you are counting out injured players. Damn thats just stacking the deck. I still don't think they would win though.

    This week in the NBA

Its being reported that the Pistons and Lakers agreed on a trade for Kobe but Kobe blocked it with his Veto. Apparently Hamilton, Prince, Amir Johnson and a first rounder from Detroit. Somehow, i don't see that as believeable.
