    The Writer's Strike

I'm sorry, but Whaaa whaa whaaa. You wouldn't have the job in the first place if not for the writers who want to be paid for their work. The writers wouldn't have a show to work if it wasn't for the camera crew and the rest of the production people. I don't like the way the WGA are bullying Ellen Degeneres. She'd be in serious legal trouble if she dropped her show (she's in a way different position than Leno or Lettermen) and wants to ensure 135 crew people keep their jobs. But, no, let's crucify her for feeling a loyalty to her crew other people lack. Arguably,Jay Leno owes the rest of his crew as much as he owes the writers. No, they would hire other production people. that is how the world works. people that can do things others cannot will be paid more and are more important than the interchangeable parts. Not everyone could write the office and it be something people would want to watch. Alot more people could man a camera. If writers don't do their job well, then the show fails. If a cameraman doesn't do his job well, the scene looks funny or off center. But you know what? the show will go the fuck on and people wouldn't complain that much.

    This week in the NBA

Well, Josh Smith is out the rest of the game with a strained quad and Acie didn't break his leg, they are just calling it a sprain now, although I don't see how that thing is only sprained.

I think Acie Law could have broken his leg there. Hopefully not.

Oh please, the free agent market of after next season should be pretty nice with the guys that aren't signing extensions now. Marbury is due 20 this year and like 22 next year, but that is alot coming off the cap when there are actually attractive free agents....unlike this year where there wasn't anything really worth jumping on in the free agent market.

Oh okay, guess that makes sense. I cant think of another guy making that much money that has skipped out on a game which is why that fine is so big I guess.

Not that anyone here cares, but Alicia Keys put out one hell of an album.

Damn. Is that the biggest fine, like..ever? I know that if you are suspended without pay you could look at that as a fine, but like, just as a fine, that is pretty big.

    NFL WEEK ELEVEN- Proving grounds.

That reminds me of a conversation that took place on some sports outlet where they asked if the Pats would win or lose to a team comprised of the rest of the AFC East's best. They would lose by roughly 50 points. Saying otherwise is kinda ridiculous.

    Box Office Report...

There were 4 people in the theater when I went to see Crank. And one asshole was loud out of the 4 fucking people in the theater. Clapping and shit at the screen.

Thats because they want to make more money. The only time the optical would be better is if you need a 25+ foot cord to hook it up(coaxial will lose quality with a longer cord because of the distance for the signal to travel). But since you aren't keeping your reciever in the house next door, optical and coaxial are EXACTLY the same in performance. .

FOX Sunday Night - 2007/2008 Season

So apparently Fox is producing new episodes of Family guys without Seth. That should be...interesting.

You must have missed the Hawks/Celtics game where the officials let both teams know that the fans were there to watch them, not the players. No team got screwed more than the other, it was just a horrible officiated game all around. And the as for the Celtics, people will beat them, but I honestly don't believe there is a team in the NBA that could take them in a 7 game series. They are too stacked at every level. They are essentially the perfect team. They have a dominant inside force that is a monster on the boards, they have a rugged SF that is nearly perfect from the midrange, and can abuse opposing SF with his bulk and strength, you have a deadly 3pt shooter with a underrated slashing aspect to his game. Then to top it off you have a lock down defensive point guard, a shotblocking tough defensive center, a bench with a mix of shooters, defensive stoppers, and role players. I personally think they are better defensively than offensively and they are monsters on that end too. The only team i could see in the East giving them a run would be the Pistons because they match up in every way including their bench. But they also are a bunch of whiney headcases when things don't go their way and lose focus easily. Out west, honestly, I think Phoenix would be their biggest obstacle. KG always brings the best out of Amare, Raja on Ray would work and Shawn could go at Pierce. They would murder the Suns on the boards though. I know some will say the Spurs, but the Celtics matchup with them with KG/Duncan, Posey and Ray/Manu(Ray is also a very underrated defender) and Rondo can actually stay in front of Parker. offensively, Duncan has never shown the ability to slow down KG, Paul Pierce just abuses Bruce Bowen the same way Bonzi Wells does, and Manu doesn't like running through screens. San Antonios bench is basicially the Celtics bench only older. Bonner and Horry = Scalabrine and Pollard, Finley and Barry = Posey and House.

LOL. OKAY. I like Collins and all, but comeon. Marbury is obviously the best option at point, letting him go is kinda crazy. Maybe he could sign with the Lakers. Seriously. ...

It didn't come out of nowhere. The reports that the Knicks want to buy him out probably isn't news to him. But honestly, has anyone else been playing better that the point guard position for them? the problem hasn't been Marbury from what I have seen, and I definately don't think the team will get better moving jamal over and starting Q at the two. maybe they are trying to get more time for Balkman or something, but between Marbury and Nate, i really don't see Point guard as the problem they are having.

    2007 After Dark Horrorfest

You could make a argument for Grave Dancers (or whatever it was called) being the best if you don't take it seriously. At all. But yeah...whole lot of ass suckage last year.

Levels you hate in game you love

I know True Crime: Streets of LA wasn't exactly the greatest game of all time (I did like it though), but the damn "Tail the suspect" levels were SO GODDAMN boring and went on FOREVER. But like I said, I did enjoy the game though.

    Heroes

I have no complaints about last night. I don't see why people don't like the Twins. My girlfriend started watching with me and she was automatically drawn to their story line, because, other than peter explosiveness, they are pretty much the only case of someones powers constantly hurting others without the ability to stop it. I mean, she has piled up the biggest death count of any character on the show. An entire wedding party, a truck full of immigrants, angry car beating rednecks...She has to be at nearly 40 people now. Also that is why I like Jessikkina. I think alot of people figured her power had something to do with Jessica, but in reality she is a girl that is just fucking batshit insane who happened to get super strength as her power. There is Sylar insane/screwed up(trying to please mommy) and then there is Nikki screwed up(daddy touched me). Plus, not that Ali Carter is a great actress or anything, but I do like the subtle differences that she was able to put into Jessica, Nikki and Gina. Plus, DL kinda annoyed me. Cool that he went out all heroic, but seriously, after getting shot the first two goddamned times, when exactly do you grasp that going all Shadowcat permanently when trouble is afoot until you are out of danger. Dude walks up and his thinking is "Well...i better stay coporeal..." Fuck his dumb ass. He deserved to die(although I am happy he didn't get his FOURTH death scene of this show because I wouldn't have been able to take it). And I don't buy his death either. If I try to punch a guy and my hand goes through my head, I am not saying "Oh, I am gonna get that fucker one way or another". MY HAND JUST WENT THROUGH HIS MUTHAFUCKING HEAD, MAN. I need to mention again how ugly the little boy playing Micahs cousin is again. Growing a beard in a month is not that unbelievable. And if he started drinking that day, well...liqour every day for 30 days will make you stinky. I am starting to think that Mrs. Pertrelli's power is something like the power of suggestion(maybe that was supposed to be obvious last night but I am still not sure). Peters refusal to fly will continue to baffle me. Why the fuck are you RUNNING from the goddamn Hatian? FLY DUMBASS. And Kristen Bell and her cleave was pretty nice in this ep. Although I would have liked to see her a little more sadistic with Peter. It really wasn't any big deal what she was doing. Peter was letting her do it. Its not like she was just coming in and shocking the fuck out of him. I liked her innocent/psycho vibe though. Overall, pretty good show.

The first 3-4 levels of Brute Force for Xbox, The Bezerker parts of Gears of War. They aren't hard, just annoying. The swimming stages of Ninja Gaiden Black, The first couple of stages of Perfect Dark Zero. had no idea it was actually a cool game until recently because the first few stages suck so hard.

FOX Sunday Night - 2007/2008 Season

I actually liked the family guy shows. Consider it revoked made me laugh pretty hard, as did the macaroni picture, merman, Joe/Brian interactions, take out those breast and the ending. Pretty much the whole ep honestly. The one before it was a little weak, but still funny. I don't know. maybe I am one of the few that don't require perfection to like something. You give me 4-5 lol moments in 20 minutes of screen time and I'm good.
