You know, i was thinking that last night too, that Joe Johnson was doing too much Iso. But you know what. Watch Mike Woodson after it didn't work the first play and you see he did the "run it again" thing where coaches just twirl their fingers. The "Iso Joe on the Wing" "play". Marvin Williams was giving the Pistons hell going to the rim and they just stop calling his number. I do think that of all the guys on the floor, Joe is the most selfish right now and makes the rest of the team end up standing around and is single handedly killing the uptempo offense they are trying to run. I know there are going to be alot of turnovers if they want to run alot so I accept that but guys like Joe and Lue bring the offense to a screeching hault. I have to admit though, if Jarvis Hayes stays healthy the Pistons are a little scary(although I do think Tayshawn is eventually going to cool down on his shoting). But that is a big if with Jarvis. Otherwise, the team looks damn good.

Tyronne Lue did a better job staying with Iverson almost 8 years ago than the Lakers at the time. He is a walking layup line now and has been for the last couple of years.
-
I had no idea how fast he was. I thought it was just the college game making him look that way. The team plays better with him on the floor too. Of course that means that he should be out the game from the middle of the third on and let Tyronne Lue and his inability to defend ANYONE allow teams back in the game.

Thats basketball. You get penalized for leaving your feet early. Same way that Rip Hamilton caught Marvin williams the same way. You keep your feet, and if you don't. they are going to make that call. But Billups just had his shot blocked at the end of the game. But honestly, you have to blame the retardedness of Mike Woodson. On the sideline you have Mario West and in the game you have Acie Law and Josh Childress. All of which could or should have been matched up with Mike Woodson. Instead he has his SF on him. But hey, its only game two. Still awesome game and I don't think you can watch this team without knowing that this Hawks team can be something special if they had a slightly smart coach.
-
Pistons just got bailed out by a bitch ass call. And the Pistons win by one. Bullshit ending, but the Hawks still have nothing to hang their heads about.

Moo on the bed My girlfriend was responsible for this bit of cat torture. And this one. I did take this picture though because..well...it was funny. But really really wrong.

Oh come on, Don't take the "And STILL beat the Colts" route. They were playing with only two recievers. Good game though. I think you can't walk away from this game thinging either one of these teams were better than the other.

That step back jumper that Durant has is going to be completely unstoppable with his length. Kid is going to be really really good. Hawks and Pistons in a really good game right now. Hopefully the Hawks can pull it out.

I am happy that JJ Barera is getting to get on the court so far this year (although that will drop off when Harris gets back). The kid is proving to be really good. He was killing the Hawks the other night and scored 27 last night. He is like Earl Boykins with better decision making and pretty good on the ball defense. And after watching Yi play a couple of times, I have to tell ya, this is going to be part two of the "Critics completely wrong about Chinese player." If you look back at the stuff they said about Yao now, you would laugh hard. Its going to be the same for Yi. The guy simply knows how to play, he can actually rebound well, is one hell of a athlete, finishes hard around the basket and that jump shot is nasty. If he learns to put it on the floor better, he will be tough.

They still can't defend big men. Now the entire country was able to see why the Lakers never want to trade Andrew Bynum. The Suns were forced to send a 2nd guy and were being killed by Vujacic and Radmanovic. That's when Kobe wasn't on the court, and when he was, they couldn't double Bynum at all. They lost because it was game two of the season and they were all over the place. They were lost on switches and giving up wide open shots. So were the Lakers, only the Suns couldn't hit theirs. Hot shooting Lakers versus cold shooting suns. No biggie. I would like to again point out to the people that said I was crazy for saying Turiaf has a offensive game. If he can stay out of foul trouble this year he could be really good. ALthough I totally expect Phil to move him to the bench for Lamar when he gets back.

Gerald has had 3 full years of constant coaching and still plays like he did when he first stepped foot on the court. I don't think he will ever have a high basketball IQ.

Wanna hear Dog the Bounty Hunter say "nigger"?

I think its a bigger story because Leland Chapman doesn't have a show. DAWG does. Thats like saying you can't believe Britney spears was in the news when her dog watcher was in a bar room brawl. -
There are about 20 GMs that should be kicked square in the balls.

you can take off the quotes. Failed Bridge managed to have something to talk about Celtics wise for all these years because he is a Celtics fan. Be proud to be a bandwagoner. Just don't act like you aren't Hawks take down the Mavricks tonight in a damn fine game. Looking good. Problem is when Zaza and Speedy Claxton get back will Mike Woodson be able to manage the lineup? I doubt it, but good start for the team.

This is why Patriot fans are pissing me off. Stop being fucking delusional. Lining up with less than 45 seconds left and running multiple plays in a game that is already decided and punching it in with 19 seconds to go is not the middle of the fucking 3rd quarter. Kneel the fucking ball and get the game over with. they on the other hand are looking to score. THAT IS RUNNING UP THE SCORE. No one said shit about the 3rd quarter, but looking to score with less than 1:30 to go and its first down, you are running up the score and there is no other way around it. And have fun doing it, but when someone gets hurt and people cheer, its going to be the woe is us, no one respects up crap all over again. No one else in the entire fucking football league does it because they have some goddamn class about themselves. I respect the fans that admit that they are running up the score but all these "But running up the score is the right thing to do!! THey are playing the entire game!!! Thats what you do!!!!" Unless you are every other NFL team for the last 20 goddamned years. Otherwise, yes, you go for touchdowns, up 21 with less than a minute to go.

Good thing they got rid of that Keyshawn Johnson guy. That move is working out wonderfully. Whats even funnier is the pretending they didn't expect him to contribute immediately and that this was planned. After they cut a productive Keyshawn Johnson planning on Jarrett contributing this year.
-
I don't think its totally true. The reason is that Mike Williams was going to be fat whenever he retired. Then he got retired for a year and no coaches on his ass to keep him in shape. There is no way he was going to get back in shape after that year off. Some guys are just going to be fat and they are just avoiding it for the time being. Case in point, Antoine Walker is going to be really really fat when he is done playing. And Shaq is going to look like Big Show. He didn't have the dedication to stay in shape when he was away from football, and that pretty much ended him. I think if he had been able to stay in the draft that year he would have been fine. Until he got injured eventually and sat around.
-
Oh, and not that anyone cares, but welcome back to blackout land here in Atlanta. I kept saying next year would be when it hit, but nope...already this year. There was a story about how that 90,000 people waiting list for season tickets has dwindled to 0. To fucking ZERO. I thinking more and more that Vick is going to get a second chance in this city. For better or for worse. And I think it will be for worse.
-
I think if they don't start using a little bit of class in their wins, they are going to end up damaging themselves. Not even Brady because he could still be safe, but a offensive lineman or a reciever is going to get seriously hurt if they keep it up.

I like Gerald Green. I really do. But he has absolutely no idea how to play basketball. At all. He has a great perimeter shot, and can score in bunches, but I have never seen a guy so lost on a court in my life. He plays hard, but he just seems like he has no idea what he is doing. And that is with three years of constant coaching year round. I think the best role for Green would be superstar on a really bad team. He would average like 27 a game, his team would be in the lottery every year and everyone would say "If they would only get Gerald Green some help" and completely forget that he is in this position because he can't play basketball. He's only 21, though. It's flat out idiotic to give up on a player with his ability that fast. But what I am saying is that he has to be the center piece of a offence. Get him somewhere like Orlando and yeah, great fit. But with Al Jefferson obviously being the future there, and they have plenty of wings, he can't be the focal point. On most other teams, fuck that noise, you keep Gerlad Green, but unless he was on a team that needed a focal point on offense, you wouldn't be utilizing his best attributes.

Yeah, but comeon, Kevin Martin or not, You aren't telling me that Deng wouldn't get more than 10 per in the open market. And there are some reports that Atlanta would budge off of 45 for 5 years for Josh Smith. They are obviously smoking crack if they think half the league wouldn't offer 10+ for him.

I hope that was sarcasm. The general concept of Spaced sounds like some pilot that gets kicked around every year. There is nothing special about it. At all. What made Spaced decent(really, it isn't THAT goddamned incredible) is that the people involved were/are incredibly talented and you could see that. So basically for the American version to work they need to take a director and writers who are on the edge of greatness and get them to do a sitcom. That is why it won't work. If they knew who was on the edge of greatness, they would just get them to do movies that would make more money. If I want to watched spaced, I will just throw in my fake DVD set and be happy.

Either a movie is good or it isn't. What another person said about said movie has nothing to do with its quality at all. Thats like the people that say they don't like Shawshank Redemption because so many people said it was the greatest movie ever. So now you claim a movie isn't good because of something someone else said about it. Retard logic. And yeah. I liked serenity better also. because the dialogue wasn't pure crap.
-
That sounds like retard logic honestly. And Angel was awesome.
