Now Rant. Thats mean. At least he didn't put "duh!!!!" while being completely wrong this time.

You are simply making excuses to why the guy is outplaying the other. What is Matt doing that has solidified his hold onto the starting QB position? He is turning the ball over, so is Sage. Matt has thrown 7 picks to 5 TD's while Sage is throwing 6 touchs to 5 picks(and will definately catch Matt in that department). Fact of the matter is, Sage is scoring when on the field, Matt isn't. He hasn't thrown a touchdown in the last 4 games. The one he threw in Atlanta was a horrible pass that his reciever caught while falling down through the CB's arms after he missed the pick. That Tennesse game, I will give you 2 of Sage's touchdowns were against that pretty much prevent D that Tennesse was playing, but you are dreaming if you are saying they didn't tighten back up after that and he still got two more to get them the win. Yes, his numbers got inflated in that game. And in this new world, apparently defenses don't go for shutouts? There was nothing soft about the coverage in his one touchdown against the chargers. It was just a good play. Proven by the fact that the Chargers didn't give up anything else throughout the game. Every single knock against Shaub coming into the league appear to still be true. If he keeps putting up goose eggs they are going to sit him "To rest his nagging injuries that are no doubt affecting his play. But make no mistake, Matt Shaub is still the QB of this team". Call the stats inflated and his touchdowns nothing, if he keeps producing them when Shaub isn't, he is GOING to get that starting spot. And I actually agree with you on the Rating stat. It just seems others around here cares about it so I used it. The only stats I care about are wins, turnovers, touchdowns. None of which are looking great for Matt or Sage right now, but at least Sage has the touchdowns.
-
If Sage keeps having a better rating and more touchdowns than Shaub while giving you the same amount of turnovers that Shaub is giving you, he will eventually get the nod. He is simply outplaying Matt.
-
I guess smoking reality. He has looked better. The knock on shaub before being drafted is that he will give you big passing numbers but makes horrible decisions in the red zone, and isn't going to get you in the endzone very often. Pretty much like whats going on now. And yes, injuries to his playmakers has a lot to do with it but they guy really does make bad decisions.

Highschool to NBA players: Reggie Harding - was a druggy and a headcase. Got shot and killed 10 years after he was drafted Darryl Dawkins Bill Willoughby - nothing special. Just a journyman, although that is what you would expect at the position he was drafted. Moses Malone Shawn Kemp(kinda...he never played college ball) Kevin Garnett Kobe Bryant Jermaine O'Neal Stephen Jackson Tracy Mcgrady Jonathan Bender - retired because his knees were shit. If they weren't shit, he would have been a special player as he showed in flashes when he wasn't hurt. Leon Smith - before he ever played a game, he was place in mental hospital after trying to kill himself. That would have happened in college or the NBA so it really doesn't mean much in the prep to pro argument. Korleone Young - He was a second round draft pick first of all and most of them don't stay on NBA rosters. He kept getting injured, got cut and went on to a decent career in the lower leagues and overseas. Al Harrington Rashard Lewis Darius Miles Deshawn Stevenson DeSagna Diop Ousamne Cisse - Dumbass for entering the draft anyway. Once again, second round pick, never really panned out, was in the NBDL for a while and now is playing overseas. Nbudi Ebi - If not for Kevin Mchale being a idiot, this guy would have been drafted near the end of the first round. Still, he was a 26th pick in the draft. he wasn't really expected to be a team savior. Kedrick Perkins James Lang - Another second round pick, and back injuries pretty much grounded him for good. Kwame Brown Lebron James Dwight Howard Tyson Chandler Eddy Curry Robert Swift - Knee injuries. I still think he will be a pretty good player although I think you officially have to add him to this list for now. I still believe he will be coming off. Amare Stoudimire Martell Webster Shaun Livingson Sebastian Telfair Al Jefferson Josh Smith J.R. Smith Dorell Wright Andrew Bynum Gerald Green C.J. Miles Monta Ellis Louis Williams Andray Blatche Amir Johnson The ones in bold are the guys I say you could argue are/were bust. Everyone else on this list has either proven their worth or are pretty much sure bets to do so. And some of the bolded weren't really their faults. So roughly 9 out of the 40+. Like I said, the bad ones are the exception to the rule.

I think the Highschool draft thing is still just plain wrong. Simply put, highschool players contribute around about the same time name college players do. They are two completely different games. The rule is that prep to pro players will end up being very good. The exceptions are the one that didn't make it. Shooting percentages have gone down simply because players are bigger and faster and close alot faster on jump shooters. Look at 80's and 70's games. You will notice that all those automatic 15 foot jumpers are completely uncontested. Now if you want to argue this is because of coaching or the like, then fine, but the fact is, defense doesn't leave the 15 footer open as much as it used to. And the only people it is open to now are bigs and thats by design.

I also would like to add that while I was routing for Matt Shaub, the weekly updates on his games have now disappeared from the AJC as has his induction into the Hall of Fame by the local media. HOnestly speaking, Sage Rosenfels is looking alot better and will probably take over as starter before the season starts. Edit: Before the season ends. It obviously has already started.

You know what I like about Detroit? The team lost a couple, the players were like, "coach, hows about RUNNING the fucking ball every once and a while", and you know what they went out and did? Ran the goddamned ball. If only some coaches in my city would do the same.
-
I think he did.

Peyton Manning just reminded me what I don't like about him. He keeps throwing these shitty passes into coverage and then throws up his hands like its everyones fault but his. Dude..you are throwing shitty passes. Stop passing the buck.

Pistons - Spurs was one of the great finals series in a long time. People called it boring probably didn't watch it. The problem with the NBA now is simple. They call too many bitch ass pussy fouls. Its a free throw contest. Teams like the Suns, they don't get to the freethrow line alot thus the flow of the game is better. People say its because they are so fast or run or whatever as a reason for them being so fun to watch, but it isn't. Its the fact that they hardly get to the freethrow line. The Spurs however are near the top of the league at getting to the line, as was Cleveland. People don't want to watch freethrows for a couple of hours. Its boring. And its all because they made this 'don't get near the player" rules that allowed Dwayne Wade to win a championship. Older basketball was more fun because it took a HARD foul to get to the line. Then players got faster and more athletic, and defensively they became better so the scoring went down. So the league started using the genius moves of moving the three point line in, and not allowing defenders to play defense to get the offense up. Regular season ball is fine for the most part, but some playoff series get ridiculous with the foul calls. They never talked about Jordon doing the little things right, but the Bulls did. You got to see one of the greatest defenders ever lock down someone on the other team. You got to see the greatest rebounder ever control the boards. You got to see one of the greatest off the ball defenders roam around the court and cause havok. On offense you saw the Triangle, which is a fucking boring offense but can be beautiful in its execution. Then dick sucking jordan and for the most part ignoring all that other stuff is also another part of the problem.

Oh yeah, Tarentenos part in Planet Terror...the whole get my dick wet part....that shit just brought a fun movie stand still.

3000 Miles to Graceland had so many awesome moments. Yet the movie still sucks a whole lot of ass.

You can read about the case here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genarlow_Wilson ( I know its not the best source, but hey). I am happy he got released, but he has been screwed out of a chance at a free education that he would have had at the school of his choosing after highschool. He can never get that back. And Eddie Barker is still quite the cunt.

Y....you were kidding right? Sarcasm is tough to detect online sometimes, but did you just say it was cool to be a deadbeat dad and not have a role in your childs life until they are older because the pregnancy wasn't planned?
-
Okay. He FINALLY gets out today.
-
The ball sucking is hilarious.

Oh please. The entire ANthony Anderson shit and that M-5(or whoever the military group was) were the killers of this film. The house scene was fine. It was that unnecessary shit that could have been used for more character development with the Autobots or the Deceps.

On the motherFUCKING bullseye I have never in my life heard anyone brag or boast about Brady pulling tail. Make jokes about it? Sure, but nobody acts about it in the way suggested here. Yet they do pretend its completely okay for him to be a shitty dad because he throws a football. His baby momma says he is a crappy dad and everyone jumps on HER because she obviously got pregnant in an attempt to trap the great Tom Brady. Yet he has proven to be elusive even when his protection breaks down.

Yao has had two injury plagued seasons and played all 82 for 2 seasons and 80 in one season before that. I don't think you can even say the guy in injury prone which is what usually happens to guys that size. The Injuries that he has are legit and not those 'big guy" injuries. Sometimes a muthafucka breaks a toe. And yeah, he is one of the few completely unguardable 1-1 players in the NBA and probably the best passing big man out of the double team. I honestly don't see how anyone couldn't be impressed with him.

Wrestler A is flat on his back. Wrestler B is on the top ropes. Wrestler A gets his leg up and it hits Wrester B in the jaw as he comes down on both feet. What the fuck move are you trying to do there? The doublefooted ring shake of doom? If the guy doesn't get his leg up, then what? SHAKEY RING!!!!!

I am going to Athens when Georgia plays Troy so i can tailgate and where Troy stuff and do whatever the hell it is you do when tailgating. Athens is a awsome place for the young and single. All the college girls you can fuck. Not so cool for the married or relationshipper.

Oh please. Stop complaining. I would see if there was a perfectly fine aquarium about 2 hours away from the one in Atlanta. THEN I would understand blowing millions of gallons of water on the aquarium, but since there isn't.... ... http://www.tnaqua.org/ ... Oh. Never mind.

Then Yao and T-mac got hurt and never played together. When both are healthy, they win. Alot. When one or the other is hurt (which is always) they dont. Its alot like backcourt 2000 with Kidd and Penny. They stayed hurt. If not injured that would have been something incredible.

You need to have more than 250watts regardless. There is no way that is going to be a stable system with a powersupply that low.
