Well I am buying it now because if it rules like Phantasm, then it must be good. But if it isn't.... *shakes fist*

I'm pretty sure that they can't do that. If they do, they are going to have to refund some money for the peoples live account. Their contract agreement when it comes to release dates is between them(Microsoft) and the retailer. If the customer legally buys it from the retailer, they have done nothing wrong. I personally think its BS to stop people from buying the game early.

He wants to be apart of the offense and is a slasher. Thus, big men that demand a double on the block is going to be a problem for him. I am guessing that Utah would want either a solid two guard or a big. Mostly a solid two guard. I don't know when it happened but 2 guard is probably the most lacking position in the NBA right now. But I say trade him to New Jersey for RJ who could sorta play the 2 guard position.

Millsap is a center/PF. Kirilenko is a SF. But I agree, I am not sure how much of a difference it will make, but AK shutting Steven Jackson down in the second round last year was huge. He would be a huge factor playing against Dallas or Denver in the playoffs. Not so much against San Antonio or Phoenix.

That second episode blew though. Like, really really really really blew. THe first one did a good job of using the sex to tell a story. THe second episode was just a boring ass story with pointless sex. I am going to need them to step it the fuck up.

I think black QBs are under more scrutiny when they don't perform well. And not really from the fans. People like a QB perform well, and if you are doing well, no one gives a shit if you are black, white, purple, green, whatever. But if you aren't doing well, the fans will call for your head, unless you are young. But then you look at the teams, white sucky ass QB's seem to get a unlimited amount of chances while alot of the black QB's get "maybe you should try wide reciever" and you never see them get another chance at the position again. Like it or not, alot of GM's and Owners are still old time guys and alot of them probably do still have that "black QB's don't work" thing in the back of their mind, and I do think that underperforming black QBs are on a extremely short leash when it comes to their career. I think that alot of traditionalist are in the position to control the look of the team, and while I don't think there is a GM or Owner that would be against bringing in a Black QB, I think that any sign of struggle will validate the traditionalist view in their eyes. So to review, this whole black qb/white qb thing only applies to those that aren't performing well at all an are going to lose their jobs. Like if Rex Grossman was a young black athletic QB, he would be returning punts right now and Brian Greise would be starting. I don't think and young black QB would get that much time to suck and I don't think he would get a second chance to suck on another team. Rex on the other hand, if Chicago ever does get rid of him, will be picked up by someone else. And maybe someone else after that. Akili Smith on the other hand...not so much. And let week 9 roll around and Travaris Jackson is still not ready. THat could be the last you ever see that kid play in the NFL. Ever. Now I am not saying there is anything wrong with that. If you suck you suck. But the old "he just can't play the QB position" excuse seems to still fly up for black QB's and the "the system wasn't right for him" seems to fly up for the white QB's that suck. IT really doesn't make a difference in the end because no matter where any of them go, they suck, because...well....they suck and eventually they run out of chances. Just the black ones run out of them alot quicker. Even when they don't suck nearly as much. McNabb, his big ass contract, his pro bowl appearances, wouldn't know a fucking thing about that and is just being a whiney bitch in this whole situation because he is being booed. When he was consistantly playing well, the only people critisizing him was the Philly people, and honestly, they are going to critisize anything. He should just shut the fuck up and play the goddamn game.

The guy has been injured TWICE. TO the same ankle. And he has only played under 8 games once, so I am not so sure how that is a fact. Injury prone to me is when you are like, say Kevin Johnson(of the NBA). He had sprained ankles, pulled muscles in his ribs, chicken pox, pull hamstrings, pulled triceps, all of which caused him to miss alot of games. Byron has had one injury. The guy got his fucking ankle broken on a hit. Its not like he was just standing there and got hurt. It was a legitimate injury. Like if someone hits Carson Palmer in his knee Sunday, that wouldn't exactly make him injury prone in my eyes. He played 15 games as a rookie, 14 games after that, 11 the next year (until he got his ankle broken) and 6 last year (when he reinjured the same ankle). Its not like you can say injury prone on him yet. If he gets hurt everytime you hit him, then fine, but getting ones ankle broken isn't exactly something that you can count on happening and earning a injury prone tag. Es[ecially when the guy was still actively lobbying to play after the second injury. He only played 6 games last year because Del Rio said so.
-
He got hit in the ankle and it got broken. he reinjured it. I don't buy the whole injury prone thing. He got hurt because he stands in the pocket and takes the hit to complete the pass. If I remember correctly, his playoff loses have come to the Colts and the Pats. I heard they were pretty good teams. He has very good passing numbers and a win percentage that isn't shabby. Plus, Jack Del Rio isn't exactly proving to be the greatest offensive minded coach in the history of football is he? I don't know, I think bust is thrown around way to liberally these days. Leftwichs numbers/record don't say bust, and take away that 5-11 rookie year, you are looking at winner. Plus he and the head coach not liking each other might have something to do with him being unseated and cut. I don't remember Jaguar fans being too thrilled with that decision either.
-
Back in my day everyone would complain about them hotshoting the title all over the place.
-
How in gods name can anyone call Leftwich a bust? edit: Talk radio stations here are saying its a bad move and only being done to appease the black fans. I guess they are happy with Joey Harrington? I swear, one week with a secondary that can catch and he will have 10 interceptions.
-
Yeah, and it was close enough that I don't think they should have over turned it. It was called a touchdown on the field and it was way too close to overturn that. Plus it would have taken balls the size of basketballs to overturn that play in Tennessee. And I repeat...fuck Wade Philips for starting Johnson. So I am happy Tennessee won.

I am pretty sure that leasehold interest applies to the owner-occupier, not the tenant. When leasehold interest applies, usually this is seen as an asset. An apartment is not a asset for a tenant.

That wasn't a lateral, but I saw it as karma because of the Rob Johnson thing (and yeah, AFC team, obviously the Falcons have been my favorite NFC). And I give a shit what the NFL show said with their fucking computers, Frank Wycheck's forward most foot was just behind the yard line and Kevin Dysons back foot was just in front of it. But I still didn't care because if Rob "sack me 6 times and once for a saftey" hadn't been in the game, the Bills would have won.
-
50 is now saying that Def Jam bought up alot of Kanye CD's and thats why he outsold him. ... Wow.
-
The Rob Johnson incident killed me as a Buffalo fan. They were always my favorite NFC team until that bullshit. I still like them, but it has never been the same since then.

One day, i am going to lose my grip on reality and have a psycho moment and murder someone for using the phrase "race card". I am SO sick of seeing that shit that I have a grip on reality right now and want to hunt down everyone on the espn comment section of the McNabb story by their ip address and kill them all.

Apparently they met with his people on Monday and are trying to bring him in. So Rich Mckay, if you are reading my suggestions, could you please trade Keith Brooking for a MLB that doesn't go to work after the ball carrier has picked up 10 yards please?

O.J. Simpson named in casino break-in
Ripper replied to milliondollarchamp's topic in Current Events
It just doesn't make sense to me. Unless he has killed people before, because they were killed really really efficiently. Plus the evidence in the case was fucked up. You had blood under Nicoles nails that was of this mysterious, never to be found person, you had a medical examiner testify that the only way that stain on the bloody sock could have occured was if he had a hole in his ankle and that it was more than likely placed there, the bloody glove had no trail leading up to or around the glove. The glove soaked in blood was just...there. 4 ccs of OJ's blood just disappeared before the other evidence was collected. In other words, there were so many fuck ups in the collection of the evidence and so many fishy looking things, I am not that crazy for having the theory that someone else did it. I mean honestly, that whole Jason Simpson theory(and that is pretty fucking interesting) makes more sense to me than OJ himself with his hands actually doing it, but I personally truely believe that he hired someone to do it which is why he happened to have a flight out of town when the murders were supposed to occur, but of course, he was late getting into the limo. All bullshit aside, there actually is a reason why the guy was found not guilty. That jury actually did a good job, and they followed the whole reasonable doubt thing to the T. But I am pretty sure they all knew he had something to do with it. -
I personally wasn't going to say anything, but it annoys me when people go "WRONG" when they obviously don't have the slightest idea what the fuck they are talking about.

My feeling is fuck all married people, gay or straight. Why should the govermnet give you ANY help because you got married. Fuck you. You aren't special. But if you are going to give tax breaks and other advantages to some married people, then you can't tell part of the population that you can't be married to another concenting adult because you don't feel like it. Fun fact: In georgia, its perfectly legal to marry your cousin, but two non related gay people can't get married. FUNNY.

I like DJ. He is very accurate in short yardage, he is not a deep threat passer at all though. Like, he shouldn't go deep unless its a broken play and the reciever freakishly got open. His athletisim and ability to run the ball is nice too, but I wonder how much of that he will get back with that knee injury. He definately was going to start eventually this season, being he is a Georgia product and honestly, because he is black to try and bring back the crowd lost from Vick not being there. But at the end of the day, he has pretty much the same arm strength as Harrington, only he doesn't make about 10 pure retarded decisions per game like Harrington does.
-
Nope, guess again. "IT WAS ME RICHARD, IT WAS ME ALL ALONG!" Get the fuck outta here! You? *faints due to the shock* Ripper - Didn't really faint.
-
But it is a lighting fast semi-side-arm throw that is really really deep threat strength. I really see him as doing fine. And the thing with protection though, in regards to Ryan, is that basically any NFL QB is accurate as fuck when they aren't getting hurried, can step into their throw and don't have to watch their for the sack. Being able to put up numbers while not being pressured isn't really anything impressive to me.
