You know, under the new precedents, if he didn't pled guilty to the gambling aspect in the summary of facts, I don't see how Roger could give him more than a 8 game suspension. Utilizing the precendents that he has set with the Henry, Johnsons and Jones. Of course he will give him more, but unless there is a gambling charge in that guilty plea(which could get a lifetime ban) I don't see how he could justify it. Of course, I couldn't see how he justified giving Jones a year and Henry and Johnson 12 games between the both of them.

One thing I am tired of is the whole "rape stand" thing. Like "they had a rape stand...that is SO BARBARIC". A "rape" stand is used in alot of kennels for aggressive females. Um, I am going to assume he was trying to kill himself. I mean he drove through the train stop and hit a MOVING train. near the middle of the train. I think its pretty clear he meant to do it. The USA's problem last time was that the NBA is so freakin soft now, they didn't know how to react to those blatant moving screens that are legal in international play. So screen and roll over and over and over again, and they couldn't stop it because it was a illegal play in their league. They figure out how to stop that and they will be fine. Plus I think Kobe is the perfect international player especially on the same team with Kidd.

And the funny thing about it is that it stops you from fumbling. The truck stick really isn't your friend in this game, or should only be use every so often.

The falcons weren't a average team before. They sucked. They are about to suck to hell and back again. They had a offense built around Vicks abilities. They now have a QB that doesn't have the arm or the athletism. I am picking them to go around 4-12 or 5-11 at best. And trust me, giving Vick the full 5 years in prison would get the Judge a day named after him in Atlanta. But I will be interested in seeing if VIck is not pleding to the gambling aspect of the charges. THey are the less serious charges in terms of sentence, but they are the ones that could hold the highest amount over his head. That could get him banned for life.

I could see him getting a year honestly. Just as the judge is hardline, he wouldn't want to be seen as he is trying to make an example out of a high profile case. And if the prosecutors are recommending a sentence around that length, him giving a sentence twice or three times that would be looked at just as that. People are guessing 18-36 because the judge usually starts at the top of the sentence and works his way down and usually ends up with somewhere around the middle. So people are guessing that. Lets just say it will be ALOT closer to the 18 than the 36, although I would think under the 18 is probably where it would be.
