Nancy Liberman was one of the smartest basketball players I have ever seen. You know how you could watch Stockton play all day and even if you didn't know a damn thing about the game you could tell "this guy just knows what the fuck he is doing". She was the same way. Well, I recall a total lack of interest in the best basketball series last year (WNBA finals) so I figured there wasn't much love going around. And yes. Phoenix/Detroit was the best basketball series in 2007.

Only way to make Bane awesome would be to do Knight fall which includes releasing all the criminals...which included the Joker if I am not mistaken. Even if it didn't, you still have to explain the lack of Joker if he released everyone at the asylem. Otherwise, Bane is a terribly uninteresting big guy. I think the riddler is the way to go. Only with him doing Saw like riddles instead of swinging around a cane with a spandex suit on. Add in Catwoman as a love intrest and there you go.

I had my profanity laced tirade the other day when the deal was announced. There was no question he was going to take it in my mind so I have accepted that. On top of that, they aren't negotiating with Marvin Williams for a extension which is even dumber now that his backup is gone, we have NO bench depth anymore (the team was realistically 6 deep...now we are 5 deep...) and it looks like Jeremy Richardson or Luke Jackson are going to be the guys that will take Chills minutes (or maybe a combination of Richardson and Mario West(who I love...hey Double quotes)). I was upset when they resigned Mike Woodson. Now I feel even worse that they have let Josh Childress walk for NOTHING. Oh for the days when Golden State was fucking up their future by making stupid moves. The Hawks apparently didn't like all that fucking up and had to step in. When you long for Billy Knight to be GM again, you know times are hard.

Again in the nobody watches the WNBA but Ripper catagory, There was a nice little fight to close out the Sparks/Shock game. He signed with the greek team where he will no doubt be a beast(the guy is a REALLY underrated NBA player right now). Get this....the Hawks offered him just over the Mid Level exception....but only after they offered him more money, and because he didn't take it immediately (not turn it down...just wanted to think it over), they pulled the offer and offered him less. Also, they still haven't offered Josh Smith anything more than a 5 year 45 million dollar contract.... Man...way to fuck your team UP.

I worked for Spherion before. Then they were caught just trying to place me at a job and lied about one of my qualifications, and then when they were caught and blamed me for lying on my resume. Despite my resume clearly not saying it and I happened to keep a copy of it on my phone at the time. I was escorted out the building like a criminal, and I didn't even get paid for that day (I was excorted out at like 4:45). A pox on Spherion and all they employ... ... FINALLY a good move by Golden State. Marcus Williams could be a very good point guard for them. Of course this still means that Steven Jackson will have to play the PF or something. because you know, they signed Corey Maggette to fill that hole at the Small forward that they had.

Most ECW matches were like that. THe psychology could be seen through the series of matches, not through just one match. Like someone said before, the Lynn/RVD matches would have spots where in match one, Lynn would hit a tornado DDT. In the second match, RVD would catch him diong that and turn it into suplex...in the match after that, Lynn would coutner RVD's counter from the last match. If you are watching the individual match, you would just see a spot. If you watched the series its "OHHH he learned from last time!!!". Don't get me wrong, most ECW stuff was crap, but the good stuff was really good when you looked at the whole picture (and alot of times when you looked at the single match).

Thanks. I see what you are saying about component versus HDMI. The problem I'm facing with HDMI is that my 360 isn't an elite, so I'd have to get the Mad Catz HDMI adapter, plus the cable. I was hoping this thing would be cheaper (over $50 less on amazon.com, and you still need to order the actual cable) and get the same results... ...but probably not, I guess. (As you can see, they've gotten around the audio output issue by making it a secondary line.) Has anyone ever used the 360 VGA adapter? I have a 360 VGA chord. IM me. You can have it.

Yeah, this is a long term project with the Knicks. I think Danilo is going to be fine. The problem with alot of the Euro bust, is that they came in with "they have the potential to be good" type label. They were bench players for their Euro teams but had size and athletism that people felt was going to be amazing in the NBA. Then...they weren't. Danilo was/is a very good player for his team, not some "Maybe he will be good" guy. His size, ability to finish and his ability to get to the rim off the dribble against other bigs is going to be special.

Darius Miles had a good workout with the Mavs the other day and is close to sending a 9 million dollar fuck you to Portland if he gets signed somewhere. I personally would like to see him in Phoenix, unless Porter is going to give Alando Tucker some PT this year. I don't want Grant Hill playing 6 million minutes this year. Also, I would like to see Boris Diaw traded to New York because he is about to have a HORRIBLE season. I know Kerr wouldn't do it as a fuck ya to Mike D'Antoni, but he still could be a very special player in the NBA with a starting gig.

Thank you Bucks for saying the only thing they needed with their horrible backcourt defense was more horrible backcourt defense. At least he didn't sign with the Suns. And Smith will probably be in Atlanta, although I have no confidence in management to give him a fair deal and he might opt for the one year qualifier. While that is usually risky, when you are 22 with enourmous upside, you can afford that risk. My real worry is them low balling Josh Childress and him leaving for someones MLE(I mean, seriously, Desagna DIOP was able to get a full MLE...Childress should be able to).

It should be pointed out, though, that the author (Chris Mannix) wrote a similar article to this last summer, and no one else has really picked up on this story throughout the last year. I'm not sure how much coverage this is getting in Atlanta, but is it possible the author has an agenda here, because you'd think that this would have gotten some mention before now, given the Hawks' playoff run and the fact that Smith was probably the top free agent of this class, at least before Elton Brand opted out. When he wrote ther article last year, Smith called it crap. This year, his father has said it was crap. Josh Smith is a target for made up stories. Peter Vescey told the story about how Josh threatened to "bust a cap" in a bartender for not serving him alcohol when he was under 21 and that Josh Childress had to restrain him. Some douche from the Pistons told this story about how Zaza pachulia pinned him against a locker for cursing at him and told the story of how Josh cursed out Tyronne Lue or something like that. All of the stories were proven false, by others present there (not the teammates, who also said they were bullcrap). I swear. You flip off ONE crowd and bear a strange resemblance to Game and all of a sudden you are a out of control headcase.
