Ending for the "Heroes of Wrestling" PPV. That was awful.

The Invasion angle gets my nod as worse since that botched angle cost the company potential millions plus they had storylines that could've and should've lasted them at least a year, if not longer. WWE's downward spiral is seen by some when Austin did his unwanted heel turn after WM17, but the spiral hit warp speed once the Invasion angle kicked in.

Sean Penn needs to seriously get over himself.

Speaking of staleness, did everyone pick up on Orton ending Raw RKO'ing everyone to death a la Stone Cold Stunning everyone to death circa WWE 1998-2001? Me no likey.

To add a little to that is Vince needs to let go of his fascination/fetish of big guys who can't work and start pushing guys who can deliver in ring goods first. If the style is going to change up to where in ring work is a focal point, they need guys who can execute as opposed to big monsters who can drive trucks into cars really fast. Guys like HHH and Taker "could" be used to elevate if they find the right person/s, but their unwillingness to move away from the top has hurt things dramatically. Add to that uneffective multiple pushes for guys like Big Show and you have a problem. WWE is in desperation mode right now. They are now "killing" characters (Taker, Paul Bearer), doing abortion angles, breaking out tranq guns, etc. These angles reek and the public isn't buying it. I mean, Taker was already "killed" less than a year ago to build to WM20 and they did the car crash stunt with Shane/Kane around this time a year ago. They can't even put a year statute of limitations on angles, which shows just how bad things have gotten creatively.

I'm fine with him in the ME, as long as he can carry his weight. So he sold for Benoit in one match. And? I figured that with all the top guys he's been in the ring with, while he didn't go over them, you'd figure he would get better, but he hasn't. You are right in that WWE should shoulder the blame for feeding him to the top guys while he is one of the more over acts, but his ability to carry a match to watchable is damn near non existent. Now I look at current WWE champ JBL and realize that he doesn't work well in ring either, but that doesn't mean we need another guy near or on top who sucks that bad in the ring. If Cena were on Raw feuding with guys like Benoit, HBK, Jericho, etc, guys who could carry him to something watchable, I'd be ok with him on or near the top. Since that hasn't happened, he should just go make movies and music and pop the crowd once and awhile.

As bad as HHH is to the company, if he were to come down with a career ending injury, WWE wouldn't all of a sudden be better. There are a lot more long term problems with WWE than HHH. HHH is one of the prime reasons the product is stalling badly, but he isn't the only thing.

Legalize drugs, prostitution, and gambling. I also liked the mandatory sentencing for violent felonies. Those are the people who need gray bars, not junkies. I will probrably be voting for the Liberterian candidate as well. I can't get behind Kerry and Bush has too many question marks about him and has done enough bad to where he doesn't deserve a second term. After watching the preview show for this, I will not be tuning in. I think there should be a law against these fucking people being able to do these shows for a living. Sad that these pathetic nimrods make more than I do being jackasses on TV. Fuckers.

Agreed with the original post. Cena's work (both in and out of the ring) is more pandering to the crowd than making anything believible. He needs to get the memo that he is over already, now start working on your in ring game. His offense stalls too much because everything he does is like the people's elbow. It's just for show. If Cena had only one or two moves like that to get the big reaction, it'd be ok, but it seems every other move has some stalling in it and it kills believability and the opponent has to sit there selling forever while Cena plays stroke my cock with the crowd. Until he improves in ring, I don't believe he deserves the WWE title. Then again, JBL has the title and he sucks too. As for CCC, I like his character. For me, it's too early to decide if he is Cena-like in the ring yet since Cena gave him zero to work with last night. I will say that CCC's selling as a heel is pretty good for a rook. However I need to see more before I proclaim him to be the real deal.

Fear not VGM fans, NBA.com isn't hosting the game anymore because they are now endorsing Yahoo fantasy sports. ESPN.com will be hosting this year's VGM game. It's not available yet, but when it becomes available, I'll let everyone know here.

None of this is written in stone, I just wanted to bounce some fantasy basketball ideas around to the TSM'ers that are interested. Ones I would be interested in playing are NBA.com's Virtual GM and Rookie games. Those should probrably be made open for the public IMO, but if you think otherwise, voice here. I also think we should maybe do 2 Yahoo leagues. One can be like last year's with a head to head, roto style weekly match up. I would also be interested in an auction league, but I don't know if there any sites out there that would host our auction. I thought the TSM football auction league was very fun and I think basketball can be just as fun. I think we've got awhile before any of these leagues become available, but wanted to start up some dialogue on what TSM'ers would be interested in. Thoughts? Concerns?

They need to NOT have Coral and Mike on any of these shows ever again. They're old and stale and they need to not have them on so much. Then again, same can be said for half of these jokers.

It's not surprising after that arbitration ruled he has to pay back $8.6 million signing bonus. Bet he's close to broke and needs the money to continue living his lifestyle. Fuck 'im. He doesn't deserve to come back this year. Maybe next year, but no way for this season.

Potential bad news VGM fans. I went over to nba.com and all references and links to the VGM game are gone. They now show only a pick 'em game, the rookies game, and a link to Yahoo fantasy basketball. I don't know for sure if VGM is gone, but I have a bad feeling. It's weird because VGM was a very popular game. I wonder why they could possibly do away with it?
