    Another film role for TripleH?

Who cares is HHH upstages Rock? I don't think that's his intent anyways. I think his intent is to make a lot of money acting. If his intention is to make movies to upstage Rock, he will have a short movie career.

I cannot PM from the PC I am on right now, but will attempt to get a hold of you sometime tommorrow regarding the result of our tag match this monday and our ppv match on Oct 26th. Fantasy NBA League?

What can I say, I do my homework when I am picking. I was even more surprised that Pacer fanboy Alfdogg let Al Harrington slip to me this late as well. I was all set to pick up some other guys and lo and behold, Harrington and Miller were still not picked.

    IZ Feedback and Rating

I'll go with a soft 8/hard 7, leaning towards 8. Solid storylines and as SJ said, making the HD/IZ feud seem important.

    The Hypocrisy

Once is all it takes. He is a 250+ib. man hitting a 130-140 ib woman. No man has any right to hit a woman unless his life is in danger. Last I read, Debra wasn't threatening Austin in that incident. One hit is all I need to deem you a wifebeater, especially when you are an ex-football player turned pro wrestler. He should fuckin know better. I bet if HHH or any other smark hated wrestler did what Austin did, he'd be crucified here. There'd be bottles of poison for them, and if they ever struck a woman, then they deserve it. I'm just calling it like I see it. You may not think that just because Austin didn't beat her ass like he does to wrestlers in the ring, it doesn't consititute him being called a wifebeater. That's fine if that's what your view is. My view is when you are twice the size of a woman, you have no right to hit her, period. And you are a wifebeater because the only justification for him hitting her would be her holding a gun or knife and threatening to kill him.

    Two questions about Austin

An interesting note on that HHH face turn. It was originally supposed to happen right after WMX7, but HHH nixed the idea.Instead of capitalizing on a perfect moment to turn HHH, they nixed it in favor of a poorly thought out 2 man power trip angle.

    The Hypocrisy

The segment was just stupid. I am pointing out how hypocritical it looks to have Austin, a known wifebeater, save a babyface Kiebler, then put his hands on her. I am sure there are more than several ways to get Austin to SD without having to go this route. Oh well. I guess Austin get's a pass for beating women with fans and smarks alike. I mean, why not? He drinks beer and wrestles a great match when he's not crippled. And RRR, I know Todd Martin is JR fanboy #1, but he summarized exactly what was wrong with that segment, minus the hypocrisy factor. I also do notice how they keep recycling storylines. Did anyone get nostalgic for 2000 when they saw Goldberg almost get run over and get shit thrown at him from a high place? Very reminicient of Austin's Runover and find who did it angle from over 3 years ago. Fuckin lame ass WWE writing team. And Vince OK'd it. Well, Fuck you Vince. You and your whole fuckin family. Right up your fuckin asses.

    The Hypocrisy

Great, so it's ok to have your IC champ and newly turned heel get buried to further a stupid angle featuring a smark favorite vs. a non wrestler? An angle that I gurantee will not end up with Jericho smelling like a rose. My original gripe is why couldn't the Raw writing team further Jericho vs Austin by doing something else other than have Austin look like a huge hyprcrite by having him save a woman only to stun her in the end for something trivial when in real life Austin has hit women. WWE shouldn't have even gone there. Mark my words. Austin vs Jericho will not draw any fans, ratings, or new buyrates. To top it off, they are now doing unentertaining segments to further a lame ass angle. :: looks for $10.00 TNA money ::

    The Hypocrisy

Here is a perfect summation from Todd Martin of WO news site. "Rob Van Dam beat Scott Steiner by disqualification when Steiner hit him with a chair. Steiner threatened to hit Stacy with the chair afterwards, but Austin came out. He got Steiner to hit him, and proceeded to beat Steiner up. He then toasted Stacy, but she didn’t like the beer so he gave her the stunner. This segment was mind-numbingly stupid, but at least it didn’t make me angry. It made me laugh. Okay, first you treat your IC Champion as a total afterthought, yet again. He needs to be saved by the non-wrestling commissioner, and just disappears as if he was never even there. Then, you treat new heel Steiner as a complete jobber, who’s beaten up by the same guy who doesn’t even wrestle. Then you have that commissioner, who you’re booking as the top babyface despite the fact he can’t wrestle, attack a babyface woman for no reason. You turn half the crowd on him, and educate all of them that what Steiner does to her doesn’t matter, because that’s how the babyfaces treat her too. I found it hilarious that just when I thought WWE had booked the segment as stupid as humanly possible, they included yet another twist that devalued the characters even more than I thought possible. Hint: segments that hurt the marketability of everyone in them are not good segments." He didn't even include the hypocrisy part, but showed how not one, but two people were buried in one stupid segment that did nothing for anyone except the top non wrestler babyface. Fuckin lame.

    The Hypocrisy

I agree as well. Shows the laziness of the Raw writing team, along with a total lack of common sense.

    JADO?

I can't comment on whether you are knowledgeable in puro or not, but yes, Jado and Gedo are not good. At all. Gedo has stepped his game up in terms of work in the last 3 years or so, but he isn't even very good. He just became watchable. Jado on the other hand is downright horrendous. For all the grief Gedo has gotten, Jado deserves 10 times more.

I have to agree. I have 4 centers and 5 power forwards capable of doing what Foyle does plus some.

Big win for Team 2000 over Texas whateverthefucks. Next week, Maui Mercenaries. Even though they are 0-5, they will not be taken lightly.

    JADO?

He's not, hence the decision to let Jado win. I almost think Gedo would be a better choice, but even he is only one notch above Jado as far as a worker and that means he's only one notch above terrible.

    Real World/Road Rules The Gauntlet

This show doesn't have the spark or intrigue of RW/RR challenges of the past. There is only one reason I watch this season. Veronica. Seriously, that is one hot chick and I think she likes rough sex.

Hogan to likely finish his career in NJPW..

Hogan's appeal in the USA is different. Although he is viewed as a "Superman" of sorts in Japan, the Japanese audience would not stand for a 7-10 minute match with him hulking up at the end. Hogan is smart enough to change up when he goes to Japan. The majority of US fans don't want to see Hogan doing drop toe holds into cross arm breakers and such. They want to see the showmanship part. In Japan, that act would wear out quickly. I am interested in seeing how Hogan worked with Chono. I have tapes of Hogan vs Muta and Fujinami and while they weren't the best matches, they are way different than the usual Hogan/USA formula.

    MOTY for 2003

For WWE, it's Benoit/Angle from RR. For the rest of the world it's Misawa/Kobashi from March. They had people crying at the end of their match it was so emotional. And it wasn't even the best match the two have had. (probrably fourth best)
