  1. The WWE has a CD called Forceable Entry? Am I the only one that finds this funny? It'd be even funnier if the Iron Sheik was on the cover.

Of course. If people hate an angle WWE will run with it just because they can. It's that childish thing with the WWE. Everyone shit on the Tim White thing, so they have to beat it into the ground that they were right, we were wrong, and that the Tim White stuff IS entertaining, whether you like it or not.
  3. I don't think Randy is gay at all. Matter of fact, I bet he gets a ton of tail. I just think his theme song is one of the worse I've ever heard.

    This week in the NBA

Slim, some guys just get it going specifically for Sac and Kwame is one of them. It goes the other way as well where a guy who normally goes off on normal teams has little success against Sac (or whoever for that matter). You still have a great point in that a lot of the inside guys don't want to bang. Artest and Bonzi are our best bangers and they play the 2 and the 3 spots.

People Who Talk In Movie Theaters

To show how old I am, believe it or not, the coke incident was during a showing of "Crimson Tide". Some other gems off the top of my head (although not as detailed, but it's 2 years worth of working at a movie theatre)... - kicking out a creepy guy who whipped out his crank and masturbated on opening day of "Clueless". In a sold out matinee show. And he was in the middle of the row in the middle of the theatre. Nuff said. - breaking up a fight between a father/teenage son combo and 2 gay guys who were having a lovers spat during "Braveheart". The gay guys wouldn't keep their verbal quarrel down and the father and son (who were with mother and sister) told the guys to take it outside. The gay guys weren't having it and pretty soon, bombs were being thrown. - throwing out a guy during a different "Braveheart" showing for standing up in his chair screaming about how he wanted to be free. - kicking out a teenage couple because the guy was fingerbanging his girlfriend during "Street Figher". - too many to count, but multiple ejections for weed smoking during "Dangerous Minds" and "Friday". - kicking out some teens for drinking beer during "The Lion King". (that was in my first month there) - kicked out a couple for fucking in the bathroom stall. I had sold them tickets to "The Prophecy". Before the show let out, the assistant manager and I (I was box office supervisor by this point) had gotten a complaint from a couple people that there were some people fucking in the mens bathroom. Since I was one of the designated "throw out" guys, I was sent. The entire walk to the bathroom, all I could think was "please don't let it be two guys, please don't let it be two guys". Once I got in, I could hear it wasn't and thanked God. Then I had to knock on the stall door, which was very awkward, and tell them they had to finish elsewhere.

Is anyone else beyond annoyed when Rey does the Eddie wiggle in his matches to hulk up/get out of trouble spot? I find myself laughing at the people who argue WWE match style as being this "what would happen in a real fight" bit when shit like this is churned out by an upper midcarder/main eventer. Now I know what to do if I'm in trouble during a bar scrap- dance a jig!

    strong to wwe?

A bunch of Strong's offense would go out the window because it's one thing to throw 170-200 lb. Indy guys around in backbreaker variations, but it's another to do it to guys weighing 240+ lbs and larger on a consistent basis and still make it look good.

    Wrestlemania

I'm chipping in with Ced, Darthtiki, and 2 PBP's to watch at NoCalMike's house. We're doing a smartmarks all day BBQ. And NoCal, just know we ARE dipping into your liquor cabinet for this event.

People Who Talk In Movie Theaters

I remember working in the movie theatre right out of high school and there was an incident (this was from the report I read as I was only there for the aftermath of the incident) where 2 girls wouldn't stop talking during a movie and a guy sitting in front of them repeatedly told them to be quiet. After several attempts, the girls told him to shut up and quit bothering them. The guy proceeded to take his medium coke and basically baseball pitched it into one of the girl's chests, splashing cola everywhere. Since Cola got on more than just the girls, people who were splashed got mega fucking pissed and the guy had a couple of people asking him to come outside. Since I was working door that night (basically clean up after a show lets out) and I was one of the more intimidating looking employees, I was to help remove Mr Cola thrower from the building until the police could come while my assistant manager had to issue re-admission tickets and refunds to the splashed viewers. Fun night for all. I have more tales from the movie theatre, but don't have time right now to tell them from work.

Why was JR back with no logical explanation as to why? What, because Vince says so? That's lazy storylines right there. Even so, why would JR come back? Most people I know who have been fired would not return to the old job if their boss tried to order them to, especially if the boss's son made a threat to physically harm them if they didn't do what they wanted. It made zero sense for this. Did JR do a good job? Sure, but he wasn't going to suck. It's shit like this that makes WWE one of the most, if not THE most illogical shows on TV today.
  18. Where I'm at, Latino gangs are the big deal where I live in San Leandro. Anyone who lives in Cali knows of the issues between Nortenos (XIV is their mark) and Sorenos (XIII would be their tagging) and those are the big gangs I've seen around my way. If I go farther east, I know there are a handful of Filipino gangs in Union City, but they aren't nearly the trouble that the Nortenos and Sorenos are.

    OAO 3/18 Impact Thread

FYI... TNA is moving the first run Impact slated for 4/1 to Thursday 3/30, presumably to get it out of the way of the WWE HOF Ceremony show. The rerun will air in the same slot. Smart move on Spike's part.

    Malibu Enterprises

*AHEM!* That's all I'm gonna say Malibus. From our past dealings, I assume there is a cushy spot waiting for me where I get a fat spending account and nameless bitches galore sent to my office for "humbling". Do me right, Zack and Tiff.
  21. I live in the East Bay too and I pay $1005/month for a one bedroom and my friends and family think I'm getting a great deal. I do have a fireplace and a shared garage, plus I live just two blocks from my job so I go home for lunch most days and I save a shit load on gas money. But rent is pretty fucked up out here. I do save a ton on gas because I work in SF and take BART to work. My wife teaches at an elementary school less than half a mile away as well.

  23. Hah. I pay $725 for a 1009 sq ft. Bitch. Oh yeah, well I can score crack or smack less than a block down the street or watch warring Latino and Black street gangs get into it. So yeah, I'm a pretty big bitch.
