I'll just say that IHOP's lunch and dinner menus are underrated.

Are we currently witnessing the complete and total decay of society?
Dangerous A replied to spman's topic in General Chat
Rolling back to earlier posts a little... What's wrong with 2 bedroom apt for $700.00? I'd kill for that. Right now, I live in a 2 bedroom, 820 sq ft. apartment in East Oakland/San Leandro in the Bay Area and pay $1095 a month. You don't know crime until you've lived in East fuckin Oakland. You have it nice. -
He's only 36. It's the principle. There are no words.

So Masters and Carlito will be the last guys Triple H gets to crush while Shelton will be first? Honestly, your year long title reign for Triple H plan is terrible. He simply doesn't have enough strong challengers on Raw. The most of the names you mention have already been soundly beaten by Triple H or are well past their prime. You could not fill a year with Triple H main events unless you start re-hasing them over and over. At the point nobody is going to watch because he's already beaten everyone. That's why your idea sucks. You realise he's still over - depsite the constnat feeding him challengers bit. Criticising a year long title reign because you dont like the champion, yet praising Samoa Joe's title reign in ROH is absurd, and hypocritical evidence of an anti-WWE bias This sounds like an anti-HHH bias on Si82, not anti-WWE. And where the fuck did Si82 praise a Samoa Joe title reign? What does that have to do with anything? ROH is a glorified Indy promotion. It doesn't sniff WWE's jock in terms of size, why does it even matter?

From PWInsider via Torch forums... So, a couple of questions based off of this little nugget. Are the days of Sting as a drawing card over? When will the wakeup call hit the "booking committee" that the current format of TV (squash matches, parity booking, cramming everyone on TV) isn't working and a change is needed?

12 out of 16 isn't bad, but 2 of my sweet 16's are out.

Don't look now, but the Zags are down by 8 with about 8 minutes left. -
Ice Cube to star in urban remake of Welcome Back, Kotter
Dangerous A replied to spman's topic in Television & Film
Agreed on the remake take, Ripper. Hollywood is dry in the creative department. This summer, all the big movies are either sequels or remakes. -
So basically the formula would be HHH gets WM rematches as PPV main events until the draft in May or June, where he gets drafted a new main event opponent because they have nothing to face on the Raw side. (rumored to be Rey)

I've only gotten Nevada and Seton Hall wrong so far. -

I hope to God you were not talking about me. Just saying. -
I'm not feeling crabcakes because I don't dig the seafood. How about some Italian though? Rolls go great with Italian.

This is funny because there are no credible main eventers lined up, post-WM on the Raw side.

A series ending showdown between Jack and Curtis would kick all kinds of ass! Make it happen.

They are only using Austin to pop a rating. Vince and Co. don't feel guys like Benoit will draw what they want on network prime time.

College Hoops: NCAA Tournament Rounds 1 and 2

Looks like BC pulled their heads out of their asses. I think this scare will get them to the Elite 8 or beyond because now they know no one is fucking around. -

Killer game here. I need BC to win though. -
I'm seeing it this weekend.

Throw out the black/white racial part. This sounds like a stupid idea, period. WBK shouldn't be remade no matter who is doing it. -
You can also trust that once Francisco Garcia is back up and running, Jason Hart's chances of PT are going to drop even further.

If Artest can get past this Indiana game without an incident and perhaps even lead the Kings to a road win, then I will be a little bit more at ease with his potential to blow his stack. So far he's been a good boy in Sactown. I think part of it is the way Adelman has Artest playing sort of a Point Forward type of role. He's really into games and is genuinely enjoying calling out plays for offense and pointing guys where to be on defense. After yesterday's game, Bibby came out and said Ron gets them going and I think he enjoys his leadership role on the team. Rick Adelman also tweaked the offense to feature more iso and post ups with Artest and Bonzi Wells while getting Miller and Bibby out on the perimeter where they are most effective. Adelman should get a little cred in making that adjustment in the offense as opposed to making Artest conform to the motion offense that has been run in Sac for years now. If the Kings make a decent run in the playoffs and Ron Ron likes how the play is, he may have single handedly saved Adelman's job.

TNA's format will continue to not work for them if they continue to put out 12 PPV's a year. IMO, it is extremely stupid for TNA to do 12 PPV's in an already saturated PPV market. WWE already puts one out a month and have 4-5 very established PPV's that will get big buyrates because they are big shows that have taken years to establish. For TNA TV to improve, they need to scale down to 4-6 PPV's a year. That way, you can have an hour of TV that doesn't come off as forced while trying to get 40 people on a show that no one remembers. TNA needs to establish shows on the PPV market like WWE had to in the past. Everyone knows that Rumble, WM, Summerslam, and Survivor Series are important because at their early points, they were the only shows. If TNA were a little smarter about things, they would trim down to 4-6 PPV's a year and do them when WWE isn't doing one of their big 4. Then, you may get some buys off of people who may not feel like shelling out dough for a throwaway WWE show, but might for a 2-3 month built up TNA show that delivers. Bottom Line: With only an hour, they have to rush storylines to build to a PPV. Until they get a second hour, they should do less PPV's and get their TV to become more compelling.

I don't think that'll happen since Moore jobbed cleanly to Styles in his last match.
-
Sucks not to be in prime time, but at least you get UF lead in. Guess we'll see how this pans out. I get the feeling it'll pan out to .8 ratings.
-
But SM was never a big player. He got a fluke pin on Styles to further the Styles/Daniels/Joe feud and it was more about Daniels screwing Styles than Moore getting a win. This isn't that big a deal.
