That's pretty much spot on. 24 always resolves the first major storyline about midway through before introducing another major storyline because the writers figure the first one starts to get stale.

Perhaps if TNA had put Moore into a higher profile program would this mean anything. I guess Matt Hardy gets his MF'er back.

International 24 would rule. It could still happen, especially if the Chinese government gets wind that Jack is now alive.

Damn, KOAB got me by 2. Oh well, congrats KOAB, you were a worthy foe. I'll vote for you in the next round.

For some reason Friday's seems higher priced than the other places like Chili's and Applebees by around $5-$10 depending on what you are ordering. Denny's is a bit cheaper than those, but is also a lower quality food and only a notch above trucker stops.

Actually the Recliner has been applied by Steiner standing upright for the last couple years. It's wrong and looks like a lazy chinlock, but he'd been doing it that way for about the last year of his WCW run.

Chef has had no impact on the show for years now. I wonder if Trey and Matt will go WWE on him and bury the Chef character because of this. Also, hypocrite is more the word I would use for Mr Hayes as opposed to pussy.

The biggest name to hit ROH yet.
Dangerous A replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in General Wrestling
I hope Christian gets in better shape. His TNA run as far as in ring work has been mediocre and ROH's product is based off of in ring work. That said, he'll probrably get over ok as long as he doesn't pull a Jeff Hardy. -
I know a lot of you will be gushing all over the usual suspects like Heenan and Heyman, but check out the Grand Wizard. If the guy had been alive during the 80's, he'd be getting a lot more run. He was very much the Billy Graham of managers in that he was way ahead of his time promowise.

Goldberg can be something here if booked correctly. I am not sure this group of bookers can get it done, but it's possible with Goldberg to make money. It also helps that he's been away from wrestling for 2 years, so he has sort of erased that bad WWE taste away from people's mouths. Luger is completely worthless and if they actually bring him in, it shows me that TNA/Panda are more clueless about who is still a star than we could have ever imagined.

I like this. This is something that does go unnoticed. Being the guy to carry your team down the stretch and putting the team in a position to win a close game is just as important as the guy who takes the last shot to win.

Sorry bout that then.

Wealthy people is probrably a better way of going about it than just actors and such.
-
I never said anyone was right or wrong. I was arguing NoCal saying that no actors actually say word for word what he was talking about, but the implication is there that's how a lot of the actors and actresses want to come off, since that is also part of their appeal. No where in there did I say or suggest anyone was right or wrong, but thanks for not reading my post and jumping to conclusions, asshole.

Steve Smith anyone??? Steve Smith's injury was less severe than Culpepper's. While a broken leg isn't nothing to sneeze at, Smith's broken leg doesn't trump tearing 3 ligaments in the same knee.

Even that shouldn't get C Thomas Howell out of a Jack Bauer beating. Howell was the lead in Soul Man and nothing can forgive that.

Possible scenario for all of this... -HHH defeats Cena for title at either WM or Backlash. It doesn't really matter because he's getting it in the end. RVD wins MITB. -After HHH defeats Cena for the 2nd time, you start the Cena turn to heel. (like it's not already happening, but now you push it) -RVD challenges HHH for title shot at ONS II, which is in June. - RVD defeats HHH for title at ONS II with help from newly drafted Rey Mysterio (rumored to happen in June) - Next night on Raw, Vince exiles HHH for letting WWE down. This writes HHH out for a bit since Steph is expecting in July. HHH blames it on Rey on the way out. Rey and RVD now become top faces on Raw. -During summer, have new heel Cena start to feud with Rey immediately after HHH takes off. RVD starts program with Edge culminating in them headlining Summerslam. -At Summerslam, HHH comes back to screw Rey in whatever match he's wrestling and starts feud with Rey. You really can't go wrong with RVD or Edge on top, just as long as it's someone fresh. -Post Summerslam is HHH feuding with Rey and RVD or Edge vs whoever WWE wants in the slot, I guess.

While I want the Kings to at least make the playoffs, they do have a fairly tough schedule for the rest of the season. If they can squeeze into 8th, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Going 4-1 on this latest road trip helped tremendously.
-
They'd have to make a monster push because the Jazz and Kings are closer to the 8th. I've said this before, I think the Lakers will close in on 7th or 6th depending on how Memphis finishes, the Hornets will fade out and the Jazz or Kings take the 8th.

I knew Leena really loved me. I just knew it. Eh, she's just delusional. Go look at my posts in the wrestling folder(s), and you'll see her reasoning for not liking me is ridiculous. 1 post in HTQ's blog, and all of a sudden I'm a wrestling elitist snob. I got the same tag as well. While I have more than 1 post in HTQ's blog, if you go and read my wrestling posts, I don't do the name calling bit like she says. Guess that's what happens when you are dealing with, well, Leena.

Edgar and Chloe exchanging looks right before Edgar buys it was fucking sad. Silent countdown just reinforces everything as well. Jack absolutely has to physically harm C. Thomas Howell's character for the simple fact that he cannot carry a goatee.

Lesnar vs. Akebono to headline Sumo Hall
Dangerous A replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in General Wrestling
It'll be a spectacle match, sort of like Hogan/Andre. The crowd will be hot for even the simplest of things that they do, but I am thinking from a flow and execution standpoint, this match will be pretty bad.
