I voted for you, Curry boy.

Does Culpepper remember he tore 3 ligaments in his knee and may not be the same player again?

NoCal, I agree with all your posts except this bit... Hollywood type folk are constantly trying to put themselves over as "down to earth" types. They may not outright say they are the working class heroes, but they imply and work on coming off like they are regular, middle america types. They may not come out and say exactly what you are talking about, but I think quite a bit of them believe they are closer to middle america and it couldn't be further from the truth.

Did he spout off at the mouth again because he hit a game winner? Damon Jones is not known for being the most humble guy even though he clearly is a role player.

I knew Leena really loved me. I just knew it.

Silly Rudo. Hansen hasn't signed the WWE Legends Loan.....err....Deal yet, so he gets no recognition.

A funny thing about this is HHH's context in doing bladejobs. Blading is usually reserved for getting sympathy for the babyface. Usually when a heel gets color, it's only after the babyface gets it first so that things appear evened up in the match. In a lot of HHH's PPV main events, he is the lone bleeder while the babyface doesn't get the opputunity to bleed and get that sympathy. Sometimes it just feels that HHH bleeds for the sake of bleeding. Pretty soon the blood loses it's effect. I especially felt this way during the WMXX 3 way where it seemed HHH and HBK were bleeding just for the fuck of it and it really didn't mean anything. The match would still have been good if both men hadn't bladed. Therefore, they did it for nothing. Jeff Jarrett is also very guilty of this in a lot of his matches.

I think the crowd will turn on him because he has no toughness vibe to him at all and comes off as goofy. Not saying he can't make it, but I don't think he's good face material at all.
-
I think he's wrong in his take about Wall Street and Big Oil doing their best with minimum corruption. He's dead on about Hollywood being out of touch with the real world, but that's nothing new or groundbreaking.

Do tickets go on sale before the card is announced? I remember my friends and I considered going to Judgment Day 2001 in Sacramento, but tickets went on sale a month and half or so before the card was announced, so we held off. (also because the prices were outrageous) Then when the card turned out to be headlined by Taker vs Austin Part Pi and Kane vs HHH in a chain match, we were glad we didn't purchase tickets at all.

I don't hate either guy, but I'm definitely not feeling either one up to this point either. From a smark/insider perspective, the only thing intriguing to me is Cena's inconsistent reactions and HHH trying to get back on top and justify it, despite his character being stale. From just a wrestling fan POV, this is a poorly built up match for WM. If they can pull off anything decent at WM, it'll be surprising. Because Vince and HBK are limited in what they can do, I'm assuming they'll get the bag of tricks for their match (weapons, blading, the whole nine) which'll force HHH and Cena to do a straight match, something I am not looking forward to at all. If you can do a bag of tricks match like Cena/JBL from Judgment Day, then Cena is passable. However, I think HHH believes he can get a good match out of Cena straight up and I don't know if that's going to happen.

the official who is on your ignore list thread
Dangerous A replied to Annabelle's topic in No Holds Barred
I actually made the list. Not sure why, but I did. Yay me. Also, I noticed 3 charter members of BANKYWOOD Industries (myself, Zack, and Banky) are on this list. Interesting. -
I'll break down one by one.. 1. Dawson’s Creek is one of favorite shows of all-time. I think the first season was the most well written season of anything I've ever watched. Perfectly acceptable. I dug the first 3 seasons. Anything later sucked. 2. I went to a Ja Rule concert and enjoyed myself. You're a dipshit for that one. 3. I have a Jason X poster on my wall. I have no beef with Jason X except he does harp on South Park harder than anyone should. 4. And a Randy Orton one. Hey, to each his own. 5. I once posted an absurdly long post after Batista first got injured about how and why they should give Lashley the title. (Around Survivor Series, right after his debut) OK, that was a pretty dumb idea. 6. Rocky 5 is my favorite Rocky movie. I guess. 7. I'm a Notre Dame fan. So is my father and step father. 8. I'll argue tiny details about astronomy Whatever floats your boat. 9. I consider Hogan to be the best of all-time. There can be an argument made, depending on your parameters of best of all time are. 10. I’m a huge anti-Zionist. Whatever. Surely that gives everyone something to work with. If not I have more. Oh and I like Creed. They had a catchy tune or two.

I only posted here a couple times, yet I still 0wn shit whenever I feel like it.

I think once Stewart implied that Hollywood was out of touch with other Americans, he lost the live audience and had a hard time getting them back.
-
I'd like to at least make it out of the 1st round, but I'll get killed by Malibu in the 2nd. Still, if I lose to Spiff in the 1st it's alright. He's good people.

I like being redundant.

Ok, who are YOUR #1 seeds as of right now, and who is in danger of losing a #1 seed if they are bounced early in their conf. tourney's?
-
Is there a case where if Duke gets bounced in the ACC tourney this weekend that they don't get a #1 seed? If so, who would get it? Nova and UConn are probrably #1's with Memphis I think.

As far as the West goes, I still am not sure NO/OK will hold on. I'm not saying I don't want them to go to the playoffs, because I think they are one of the best stories in the NBA this season. I guess I'm just not sure about an unproven team during this stretch run. The Lakers are gunning for the 6th seed because that gets them the Nuggets, who they can definitely beat in a series. Against any of the other teams (Dal, SA, or Pho) and I think the Lakers get bounced in the 1st round. The Clippers will get in and Memphis should get in, barring a total collapse or Gasol season ending injury. I am not sure if Amare comes back this year. They are only 3 games off of last year's pace, so they may not be in a rush to get him out there and risk re-injury. Dallas just lost to SA and to Pho at home, so I'm not sure if they are going to get it done in May again. Barkley called Dallas the Colts of the NBA and that analogy is not far off. SA is still the team to beat and I don't really see any teams out in the weakened West beating them in a series. I can see some teams making them sweat a little, but there is too much experience there. Tim's plantar fasciatis is something to keep an eye on because he isn't 100% and won't be for the rest of the year since he cant take time off and the homecourt probrably won't be decided until the final 2-3 games of the season with Dallas. Out East, I think Cleveland will finally make the playoffs. They may not stay in the 5th position, but I don't think they'll miss it this year. Not sure about J. O'Neal's status, but if he doesn't come back this year, I think the Cavs can eliminate the Pacers if the seedings stay the same. Realistically, it's the Pistons and Heat unless there is a significant injury to either team's top guys.

One thing being glossed over as far as LeBron being a clutch player are shots he's hit in the 4th quarter with 1-2 minutes left that put the nail in the coffin of a game. That can be seen as clutch as a last second game winner. This year in Minn, LeBron scored the Cavs final 7 points in the last 2 and a half minutes, including the "nail in the coffin" driving layup to put the game out of reach. Those kind of clutch plays you don't hear a lot about (not just LeBron, but everyone in the NBA) on Sportscenter.

Creative's fault was hotshotting the turn right after Summerslam. While there was a section of the audience that cheered Orton because he was booked as such a strong heel from WMXX up past Summerslam, there was never a real reason for fans to get behind Orton except HHH doesn't like him anymore. That isn't going to cut it. Now that said, Orton's lack of promo ability may have hurt him in the end and even if they turned Orton at the right time, he may still have failed. However, Batista isn't a good promo (at least he wasnt' the time he was in Evolution and a little after he left to chase the belt) and his turn and program with HHH was money. It's all about timing and creative fucked up the hotshot turn of Orton, plain and simple.

If RVD/Funk is headlining ONS II, I have to seriously question buying that show. If that is your top match, then what's the point of doing the show in the first place? I think you almost have to have WWE influence/guys peppered into the show for it to work on any level, especially with a lot of the guys not available this year.
