It's alright. Remember BANKYWOOD Industries ? That was pretty gay.

Dammit Zack, I'm allergic to cats. Go Randy Jackson and call me dawg, will ya.

I was not mentioned. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing so I'll just assume I'm still the Motherfuckin shit!

I think this year's WM will be solid, but unspectacular. They are really going to need something to break out that is unexpected. Edge could be that person, but this feud with Foley is not hot at all. They have a month to heat it up and it very well could get to where they need it. The stuff on top has been damaged. HHH/Cena has been well documented. The Angle/Rey/Orton program has lost luster in my eyes since Rey backed his way into the spot. Had they kept Rey in the spot or booked a more controversial finish to where Teddy Long had to put Orton in, then this program wouldnt' be hurt so much. Instead, it looks like Long granted Rey a spot out of pity, which is not nearly as grandiose compared to if they would have left him in the ME via the Rumble win.

Isn't Luger still in jail? If it's Luger, then TNA really has no clue. They did Tanahashi in January and he didn't fit either. I think the bookers probrably take what NJPW gives them. I'd think Jado and Gedo would be a better fit myself.

You see, TNA is still in this mode where if you have tenure, even if you're not over, you get TV time. It's one of the many things that continue to hurt the quality of PPV's. The feeling of having to get everyone on TV for fear of hurting feelings of guys who have been with the company for a long time.

Raw should've had the 3 way main (HHH vs Cena vs Edge) and SD should've had the traditional 1 on 1 of Angle vs Rey.

How many spots are there on a roster?

if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck I'll call it a duck even if it moo'ed in a different post. In other words - I ain't gonna bother reading your resume, THAT post was nothing but a blind TNA mark post so there you have it. And hey they got a better time slot, you wouldn't take a BETTER Saturday Night time slot? besides if Vince REALLY wanted to crush TNA head to head he'd have booked some more compelling matches yaknow? So one post is a blind TNA mark post, but the rest of me is ok? Or one post makes me a TNA mark in your eyes because you don't know my posts... ugh...forget it.

You have a 6 game lead in the division. It would take a total collapse of your team to lose that. Plus as good as the LA teams are, I don't think they're good enough to make that kind of push since you're up 6 games on the Clips and 10 on the Lakers with 26 games or so to play. In the regular season, you can get away with playing small ball a lot easier. If all those big men are not back come playoff time, then I'd start panicking because it's hard to hide a big man deficiency in a 7 game series vs. the same team.

Jason Campbell is the Redskins future. Gibbs figured while we have both Ramsey and Brunell, he might as well sit back and soak in everything and get a feel for what the offense is really about. Of course, nothing beats actual game time, but he's young and there is a reason we took him in the 1st round. The Redskins gave Ramsey and his agent the ok yesterday to seek a trade. That gets Campbell up to #2 on the depth chart. With Brunell as brittle as he is (although he's tough too) Campbell will be playing sometime this year. I could even see Gibbs going with the "open competition" card for starting QB like he did last year.
-
He would make a decent #2 reciever. I'd prefer a bigger posession reciever since Moss is our little #1, but Randle El would be just fine. If he were to return kicks for us, I'd like for him to hang on to the ball a little more though.
-
Hey now. Redskins fan within earshot here. In all seriousness, Gibbs is more about finding the right players than expensive ones that are great, but may not fit his system as well. That said, Snyder would probrably tell Joe to deal with his $1 Billion dollar team that he constructs.

I completely agree with Raw going back to a taped format. The wrestling war is over. There is no reason to keep things live for fear of Bischoff giving away results and spoilers have never been proven to hurt ratings. If you're going to have a bunch of guys who aren't ready called up or ready for top spots, the least you can do is clean up the matches in editing so they don't look like complete green machines.
-
It's hard to say, but I don't think Cena would be getting the same backlash had he stayed on SD. Part of that is SD had the magic of being taped. There were reports that a lot of Cena's matches on SD were cleaned up in the editing process. Although live fans had to deal with it, the most important thing was on the TV show, you could change the perception of things. As long as he had good PPV main event talent to work with for the live PPV matches, he'd probrably not be having as bad a time as he is now at trying to get over as a main event babyface.
-
This is very true, but it was also compounded because he isn't a very good worker. He spouts off that he is a badass, yet people see right through his lame punches and even lamer offense. It started with Jericho. People could easily Cena wasn't on Jericho's level. It was then compounded with the program with Angle and got to the point where people wouldn't boo Kurt even when he called out the troops and Jesus Christ. That's because they see Kurt as legit and Cena as a phony. Even if he had his "edge", he'd still get similar reactions because people can tell Cena isn't World Champion material in the ring.

He's sort of the babbling idiot who can see the big picture and has things figured out, but no one listens to or respects his opinion.

Stacy Keibler on Dancing With the Stars Finals Tonight
Dangerous A replied to Fro's topic in The WWE Folder
Dammit Just...er....Darthtiki, Don't you know, Stacy can't succeed without the WWWEEEEE!! She can't do anything without wrestling. She isn't allowed to, dammit! She can't possibly do anything except bra and panties matches and show her ass. We are the only reason she has life. [/Vince] -
I've noticed Marvin Williams developing quite nicely here the last month. Probrably coincides with more PT. I think if he can have a nice 25 game stretch here, the Hawks future becomes that much brighter. I'll also go on to say that despite not having a so called star on the team, they are a very exciting team to watch, particularly the last month or so because they're now competitive.

Nope it certainly isn't Unless the WWE named the event "Saturday Night's Main Event" in the mid 80ties just because they knew that 20 years down the line another promotion would run for one hour late on Saturday. and before you say anything else - an NBC prime time special cannot be anything but SNME, it's just tradition. and the HoF being Saturday? Yes damn then for once again holding it on the day before WM - damn them when they decided to hold the first WM on a Sunday because they knew that twenty some years down the road TNA would do a show the day before. Hall of Fame has been on the day before WM before, hell havent the recent ones always been on Saturday before WM? Well before TNA got their Saturday night slot. Talk about being an example of what happens when you love TNA blindly and forget to stop and THINK before you post *tisk*tisk* Except SNME was always on during the SNL timeslot of 11:30-1am, which would've only gone H2H for half an hour on the east coast. The HOF ceremony is more coincidence, I'll grant you that. In the future, try reading some of my TNA posts. I'm more critical than positive, but you were too busy reading my one post before you had to try to get off a "blind TNA mark" blast. Why don't you try getting to know a person's posts and READ before you "blindly" label them.
-
I recommend that you read this in installments because A) It's way too freaking long and B) Vomit inducing. From the madman himself...
-
I no longer regret drafting Joe Johnson on 2 of my fantasy teams.
-
So yeah, I guess we can go ahead and change the name of the thread to "This week in the LA Lakers" then?
-
I thought SNME was scheduled from 8-10pm. Impact is at 11. It would only effect the west coast viewers who get the east coast feed.I live in CA and I have DirecTV and I get Impact at 8. BTW, these are not coincidences that WWE programming is ending up H2H.

And TNA will lose. Big Time. Pun was intended.
