That, and Rey gets a lot more per house show appearance than Stacy does.

I think a lot of people think WWE pays it's undercard a lot more than they what they really do. No one was saying she is broke. But the last few times she was on the road, her expenses outnumbered what she was paid. She still gets her guaranteed money, but it doesn't become worth it or make sense to do house shows if you are paid a certain amount per house show appearance and then your travel expenses end up higher than that.

Legally, he can't listen to an offer from WWE because he's still under contract to TNA. TNA just re-negotiated a better deal for him.

I think TNA has cooled on making Monty champion. He hasn't had good matches since the first push on Spike TV. Jeff may try to sneak in, but the word in the sheets is they want to give Christian a real shot at getting over. I think they'll give him about 3 months. If he doesn't have any legs by then, I could see Jarrett back in the position.

But my question hasn't been answered, what does Samoa Joe getting a 3 year deal have to do with Chistian not getting the ball as Hvwt Champ? The plans for the next several months don't have Joe anywhere near the title and for Christian to be given a chance to get over as a main event champion. I don't see how Joe's business deal is directly effecting Christian right now or for the next year.

Odom and Bryant were just killers to the Kings tonight. I really don't know about Kobe woofing at the Kings bench after made shots in the 4th like the dickhead that he is though. It's like he's trying to light what's left of the rivalry back up, but it's just not happening. Things are different. Almost all the players from that 2002-03 time period are gone. The Kings are a lottery team. The Lakers are a Kobe injury away from the lottery. Rivalries only really work when both teams are good. One team isn't and the other is helter skelter. On the rivalry note, the NBA needs to quit it with the rivalry week shit. There aren't any good rivalries left in the NBA. When some start, then you can start to advertise them, but until then, just play basketball.

What does Joe getting a 3 year deal have to do with Christian not getting the ball? If anything, it means TNA can do a slow build and burn to Joe getting the Hvywt Title since he will be with them for awhile now. For all we know, Joe might end up holding the X title for the next 6-12 months. You are jumping to conclusions.

I would've fouled him and sent him to the line after the 3rd shot in a row. That's just me. Something would've snapped in me seeing how the crowd was hopping mad for this. I know their intentions were good, but I would've interpreted it as "they're all laughing at you because the autistic kid is lighting you up" and then the boo birds would come out as I basically wrap this kid up anytime he touched the ball and send him to the line or they'd have to take the ball out of bounds.

Yes, the WM21 buyrate includes international purchases. WM20 did better domestically, but WM21 was available to more countries and I think did more overall buys. International buys are what is keeping WWE business at a profitable level. Domestically, the shows buyrates are down, but since the PPV's became available overseas in more markets, business looks strong. Domestically, wrestling as a whole is not very strong. International business is the big reason WWE is still very profitable. It's just smart business at work.

It was reported that Stacy was losing money on the road before her DWTS bit. This is also the reason I see her not returning to WWE. Who the hell works to keep losing money?

Battier is starting to become Nate McMillan-like in Memphis to where he doesn't put up superstar stats, but you can tell Memphis is a better team when he's on the floor. We'll never know how Jay Williams might've panned out. I don't think he'll be back.

I'd think there may be something to this, but her recent mainstream exposure in things like In Touch magazine, USA Today, and on talk shows like Regis and Kelly and Ellen have been all about her DWTS appearances and wrestling was either an afterthought or not brought up at all. The one thing common about the show appearances and articles was that Stacy has a bright future outside of pro wrestling.

The Hornacek comparison is way better than Wally. Wally is 6'6 and can post up on occasion. Redick is what, 6'3, maybe 6'4. I wouldn't doubt they measure him at the NBA workouts and find him to be shorter, which will hurt him even more.

Even if she loses, she's gotten enough exposure to where she can probrably say good bye to pro wrestling and do a combo of movies/television/commercials/modeling.

Stacy holds the cards here. She could just not wish to participate in whatever they may have for her, especially if it hurts her or buries her, and there really isn't much they could do about it. Her contract runs out sometime this year. I think she's gotten enough exposure from this show to not need WWE any more.
