Foley's actions may be one of the reasons that the original plans for No Way Out were tossed. Originally Chavo and Vicki were to have a much bigger role in the Rey/Orton match. However, they were not part of the outcome at all. Something changed in the 48 hours leading up to No Way Out. I'd like to think someone (Vince) grew a conscience. However, it might've been Foley and/or Guerrero family members and friends saying things have gone too far and they need to stop.

That is an interesting take. Very similar to something I heard from Larry Matysik on Figure Four Daily. On a car ride with Bruiser Brody, Brody told Matysik that for all the tough talk and aura wrestlers have, when it comes to standing up to a promoter about anything, wrestlers are a bunch of cowards. I would need to see a list of who is going to be there before I decide on a purchase for this. Last year's show had enough ECW alumni and such that it worked. Heyman also must be behind the show. Dreamer stinks as a booker/matchmaker, although with enough time he might be able to salvage a watchable show. His OVW stuff was drizzling shits.

I think they almost have to have Rey in there to win the belt at WM. They very well can't have 2 heels (HHH and Orton) wrapping up to end Mania. WM needs that one feel good moment and Rey is it. Too bad that is already tarnished because of the Eddie stuff. Still, if they can put all their energy the next 5 weeks into this being about Rey and not about Eddie, then perhaps this thing can be salvaged. Bait and switch with Bret Hart again? This is par for the course with WWE. They haven't teased Bret though.

It also depends on who is turning in votes. I've seen WWE PPV's get 0 thumbs down before from the Observer and they have way more people responding to those shows.

I don't think changing the belt really makes that much of a difference. It's the prestige that is behind it along with the man holding it that makes the difference. The triple crown belts for All Japan don't look like much, but they mean so much because of the history behind them as well as the guys who held the triple crown in the past. If I could have one set of belts in my lifetime, it'd be All Japan's triple crown.

That's a great point, Leena. A lot of people are projecting Morrison to play 3 and even a little 4. However, I can see Morrison getting torched defensively by the more athletic 3's and getting pounded on by the bigger 4's. Matter of fact, I see both men getting lit up on a regular basis in the NBA because they are not known for the Defense.

I don't know about that. Lots of Redick love out there saying he'll go as high as #2 or #3 in the draft whereas Morrison may be lucky to go lottery. (those people are probrably wrong though) Just seeing if anyone has a different perspective. I know a lot of people out West don't think it's such a cut and dry argument for POTY. An argument for Morrison is that he doesn't have the help that Redick has on his team.

No way this goes down. Why would the Rockets trade away a franchise player they just signed to an extention to get back a guy they wanted to dump because he couldn't play with Yao? This is straight bullshit. T-Mac is going no where. I doubt Odom is going anywhere either. K-Mart might become a Knick, but I doubt that as well. Most of this is speculation and usually teams get cold feet come the 11th hour.
