I just thought the whole thing looked stupid. There were several people around me who were non smart marks and thought the whole thing just looked contrived from the moment Kane entered to the very end. Why was Kane given entrance music and pyro? I know it's his Raw entrance, but this is SD. If he wasn't expected, why was his entrance ready to go? I missed the first half hour of the show, but still, why was Kane's entrance all set up? Then the whole Taker bit with him getting run over and the ridiculous amounts of pyro set off after the crash. Throw out the "spitting on Eddie's memory" stuff. This looked dumb, no matter what happened with Eddie. Whoever compared it with Michael Bay was dead on. The non smart marks were into the match and then they are given a dog and pony show, leaving me once again embarassed to be a wrestling fan. Perhaps I should just fight them off with the argument "you just don't get it". Fucking please. With Shane possibly coming back to Raw, I am now at a 2002 type low point with WWE right now.

I don't think anything is on or off limits as far as what WWE will or won't do. If you were a white person and offended by it, then that's on you. Same with the nigga thing. I'm not offended by it, but I could see how it could be offensive to someone. As Leelee said, it's more sad than anything because they have to stoop to this level to get a reaction as opposed to, you know, actually being funny or entertaining.

I've seen the OVW/Morgan stuff and Zack is right. They should take a chance on Morgan. He has "it" and TNA needs as many potential TV stars as it can get because currently they have zero.

You know, the Katie Vick thing wasn't that bad either. Seriously. I mean, if you go back and watch it, it's played for a very, very bad punchline at the end. It was HHH very obviously playing around like he's fucking a dead corpse. They didn't actually have that happen or simulate it seriously. It was something that only Vince McMahon found very funny.

Actually, Vince and Co. usually punish people for turning down their very unoriginal ideas. That is nothing new.

It's not anything to really get up in arms over, but they could've still poked fun at white boys who think they're black without the n word.

Honestly, I thought there would be more backlash from this, but Vince and Co. seem hell bent on topping themselves in the offensive shit department. Let's not forget things like the Hassan/Terrorist bit as well as JR/Dr. Hiney bits. This is just further proof that Vince is out of touch with, well, just about everything. I also don't agree that it's ok if Booker signs off on it. Vince is in a position of power and Booker wasn't going to say no to this.

No. When you expect drizzling shit and just get a solid one, that is not a positive. BTW, is anyone really that interested in seeing Booker/Benoit best of 7? I love me some Benoit and Booker brings the goods on occasion, but I've already seen them in a best of 7 and have faced off numerous times in WWE the last 4 years. I just don't think they'll be doing anything I haven't already seen from them outside of Sharmell interference, which ruins the match.

If Shane McMahon becomes GM, Raw becomes even more unwatchable. I already hate the GM role as it is, but putting one of the most annoying people in all of wrestling in the position to push the action makes the show the drizzling shits. I was upset when Shane came out to that lame ass dance (hey dude, you're 40 years old now, act like it) and then I laughed since he got little to no reaction throughout his little segment. I do not appreciate Shane doing insane garbage matches and falling off of high places for my entertainment because I hate his guts. Fuck him.

It really looks like things went downhill after the draft wrapped up. Cena looks out of place on Raw and is more appealing on SD. Batista is the same thing, but even worse because he has had no one good to work with in the ring except Eddie and we all know the end of that story. Carlito has actually gotten worse since moving. Big Show has done nothing of mention. About the only person to have not been hurt or actually semi elevated himself is Randy Orton.

Actually, Bret has said he doesn't want in this year and is not sure if he'll ever want in. He agreed to work on the DVD so his career wouldn't be forgotten (Bret's out loud answer) and so WWE wouldn't release the burial DVD, Screwed (Bret's real reason to do the DVD).

I think Angle getting a lot of WOTY nods is similar to 2002 where Angle was WON WOTY. He wasn't having a string of blowaway matches or anything, but nothing he did really stunk or sucked and he was consistently good, so by default, he was WOTY.

Exactly. TNA needs to do little things to differentiate themselves from WWE. They already have Jim Mitchell. Nana and Julius Smokes would easily get over with the TNA crowd if they allowed them to be themselves.

I don't want to see Funk in an in ring role. Now, if they would replace Zybyzko with Funk as GM role (I really hate the GM role BTW) I'm for it. That is if Funk is the person they are talking about.
