    The return of Matt Hardy!!!

The reason you didn't hear any Kane chants during he entire Edge/Kane deal was because no one cared about the angle. How are fans supposed to get behind Kane when he forced Lita to marry him in the first place? Then they turn around and do a face turn for Kane with no explanation or reasoning. We are just supposed to except Kane is a face now because he was abscent. Then Lita all of a sudden likes Kane and is cool with him, but then turns on him. As you can see, quality control in storyline arcs is an issue with creative.

There goes APW. Up in smoke.

    Backlash on Terrorist Angle

I'm not sure how much editing control UPN has over WWE content, but I'm sure that equates into the picture. UPN probrably has some say in it since it is their TV and they pay WWE a rights fee to show SD, you'd figure they'd have some sort of control, but how much is anyone's guess.

    Backlash on Terrorist Angle

Here is a very interesting set of questions. What if UPN tells WWE they don't want Hassan's character on SD, ever? Does WWE move him back to Raw? Do they end the character? Do they put him on anyways, or at least try to?

Direction for Hassan's Character on SmackDown

Already being discussed (sort of) in the "Backlash from Hassan Angle" thread.

    Backlash on Terrorist Angle

I wonder what the 'E' will do. UPN doesn't want Hassan on SD this week. Obviously if he is on the show, UPN will probrably edit him out. Taker has got to be pissed with this because it screws up his program going into the ppv.

    Pretty much, yeah.

    NBA Offseason Stuff

Ideally, it's a perfect trade. There are still question marks here. While Odom is the guy Phil wants to initiate the offense, will it work out? We haven't seen whether or not the triangle will work for Odom or not. Plus, Odom hasn't shown he's dominating or a real winner. He didn't win with the Clips and the Heat were more pushed by the emergence of Wade moreso than anything Odom ever did. I have questions about his heart more than his ability. Brown is an even bigger question mark in terms of heart and maturity. I think he has the talent to be just like Jermaine O'Neal, but will he show it? I also think he could be incredibly soft.

Quick question, what exactly is the date for this year's Summerslam?

Again, I'll point out a lack of quality control on the part of WWE Creative.

    The return of Matt Hardy!!!

I hate to shoot this down, but no way, no how. ROH isn't nearly big enough for it to make sense to the fans. I'd bet that maybe 3% of the audience even knows what ROH is, so no way WWE puts ROH guys out there to the sounds of crickets chirping and angles falling on their faces. WWE should just avoid any kind of Invasion/cross promotion type angles because they have shown they just flat out don't know how to do them correctly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I absolutely think they are working together, much like Vince worked with ECW. There WON'T be an invasion angle, but they will use ROH to develop guys then promptly steal them, while at the same time attempt to keep them from going to TNA. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Basically, you are saying that ROH is WWE's farm system. Sort of. WWE doesn't mind guys working there as opposed to TNA. ROH does it's thing and WWE let's it be. Sure, WWE isn't going to be sending any of it's top guys to a show or anything, but since ROH doesn't have TV and the only way to watch their shows is DVD, they let them run with their blessing. At the same time, ROH realizes that it can't pay their workers anything near what WWE or even TNA can pay, so if a guy gets a deal because of ROH exposure, ROH is ok with it.

    The return of Matt Hardy!!!

I'd have no problem with WWE signing some ROH guys, but as bob pointed out, most of them are really small and we all know what Vince and Co. think of the small people. At least if WWE signs some of those guys, they could at least make some decent pay while doing something they love. On target, but sort of off topic, I don't know why WWE hasn't given Colt Cabana more of a look. The guy isn't terribly small, can work his ass off in the ring, and has a great, versatile personality.

    The return of Matt Hardy!!!

WWE has no problem with Matt working with ROH because ROH is not a threat. TNA really isn't either, but TNA has zero working relationship with WWE, plus there is no way TNA puts a non contracted Matt Hardy on their PPV and TNA would be idiots to sign Hardy to a one shot appearance. ROH is strictly a 'net fanbase and has no aspirations of going national or trying to be bigger than it should be, so WWE doesn't have any issues with them.

    Darko Milicic

Part of Larry Brown's thing against Darko is that he hates playing guys who aren't outstanding defenders. Darko does show he can score if he is given a chance and perhaps the Pistons could've used some scoring in the finals when they were having stretches where they couldn't throw a beach ball in the ocean.

    Darko Milicic

If he doesn't start to get something going this season, I think it'll hurt his psyche because it'll be 3 years and nothing to show for it. Usually you start to show something by year 3.

    The Boogeyman

Problem is only hardcore smark fans like Snitsky that way. 98% of the fans don't like or care for Snitsky so WWE should stop creating characters that fit the "so bad it's good" description.

    The return of Matt Hardy!!!

Well executed re-debut of Matt. You could see the crowd is already behind the guy. I like the suggestion to keep Matt as sort of an outsider the next few weeks and even making their first match at Summerslam (you know it'll come to that) an unsanctioned street fight of some kind. Outsider Matt has more of a rebel feel as opposed to the forced rebel thing they are trying with Cena and Bischoff. Matt coming back also explains why they are going with Jericho/Cena instead of Cena/Edge, which I'm OK with.

I don't like Bischoff being affiliated with Jericho. Y2J will be fine on his own.

Wow, they are going with a long build for Y2J/Cena. Let's hope Creative doesn't screw it up. No HHH would be a great start.

Great, so Eric has power back to make matches, as opposed to a couple months ago when he couldn't make certain matches but HHH could? I love quality control in creative !!!

Rico had some very good matches in OVW as well as Nick Dinsmore aka Eugene.
