Name another game in the genre. Yeah, that was the joke. Good work Detective.

I just beat Portal. That game was wonderful. It's very short and relatively easy, but the concept is executed so well and the game just has this amazing atmosphere. It's definitely the best first-person comedy puzzle game I've played.

I dunno oldskool, I thought that was pretty goodl

I think this is the only picture with Hitler, Guan Yu, and Pele in it. Brilliant.

What interests motivate you to volunteer for us?
LaParkaMarka replied to MrRant's topic in Current Events
That's a pretty bad checklist. Why are specific races even mentioned? "African American" isn't a reason to volunteer for something. LGBT isn't a reason either. You'd think they would spend some time and drill down into more specific reasons for volunteering. I left them some feedback, telling them how ridiculous the idea of 'Insert Race Here' as a reason to volunteer for a political party is. Hopefully someone fixes this up. -
Such a lazy fake poster, too. You have to establish yourself first, all this one did was a few crappy one-line bumps and then basically post an advertisement for that hick-spanic site. Seriously weak.

Her quotes were pretty moronic. Yeah, it's 'innocence being slaughtered'. Just like when a cow or pig is killed, right Hayden. Anyways, we can open a thread in Current Events if anyone cares enough to discuss further.

The San Andreas mission with that stupid remote-controlled plane with limited fuel.

For the record, I don't like for any girls to have curly hair (white, black any race), its always been a complete turn-off to me. So the only time I've ever found Layla even remotely attractive was after they straightened her hair, and honestly I think most guys feel that way. So I think it was a total fluke that she won the Diva Search contest, she was by far one of the least attractive girls in it. In highschool I knew a girl who had really curly hair, and the kids were brutal to her, her nickname was "noodle-haired bitch". This is one of the crazier posts I've seen here. How is curly hair of all things a turn-off? Anyways, if "most guys" hated curly hair, curling irons wouldn't exist.

Yeah, it was weird. Also, the vamps really should have found them...they could have just gone house to house and eventually find them, they had a good two weeks after the first attack to find Hartnett's crew. BUt little nagging things like that aside, it was a solid movie. I enjoyed the look of the vamps, and the overall creepy nature of the film. No lame jokes distracting from the atmosphere. One question: who was that kid that they saved near the end? I don't recall the child anywhere else in the film.

The cops were in a lose/lose situation with the old lady. If they try to physically disarm her, and she falls over and breaks her hip, they'll be portrayed as horrible monsters who beat up an old lady. If they let her swing that hammer around, she might hurt an officer or hurt herself, and they'll be portrayed as slack-jawed gawkers. If they use pepper spray, they will have pepper sprayed an old lady. Tasering maybe wasn't the right thing to do, but all of the options they had could have led to disaster.

Give Bettman credit for Anaheim, San Jose, and Columbus. I think those franchises worked out pretty well. I don't think KC is such a bad idea. They actually have winter weather there, they have a brand new arena, and the only competition is the Chiefs (the Royals don't count). KC has a better chance of succeeding than Nashville. Bettman's mistake wasn't expanding to these markets, it was a) expanding too quickly, diluting the talent pool b) not pulling the plug once a team became a proven failure. I mean, Florida is a disaster of a franchise, and they've been around for 15 years! At some point you have to get rid of the albatross, and Florida/Nashville are clearly the top two franchise failures. Now the Preds get to rot in Nashville for another 3 years? That's just super. The Hockey HOF may as well be called the Hall of Very Good. Guys like Bernie Federko are in...I don't think he was ever, say, one of the 5 best players in the league. For a few years, Lindros was. He won a gold medal and a silver medal, he won the Hart Trophy. He didn't have longevity, but he did have impact.

That's the best. "Why did you get fired from your last job?" "I wore fuzzy boots " Hasn't Mickie worn fuzzy boots before? Or Torrie?

This is silly. Nashville is a failed franchise. Even when they had a stacked team with a genuine star in Forsberg, they weren't drawing. This is one of the problems with the NHL, they have a chance to fix a mistake and they instead push for the problem to continue. Playing in front of 12000 people in Nashville diminishes the game.

There's a knife in there as well. Whatever that guy has planned for the night, count me out.

Wasn't Maria a diva search castoff?

I read that the tv show is going in a completely different direction than the books. This is great, since the books are terrible and the show is infinitely better. The books aren't that bad, the show is just so much better. And they seem like they're sticking to some of the books. It seems to me that they might use some aspects of the books (like Doakes tailing Dex in ep 1), but they've clearly gone in a far different direction.

Kynt & Vyxsin??? And one of them is a guy? This should be good, if only to see them running around Bahrain or something.

Blackhawks games will now be aired in Chicago starting on Nov. 11th. Plus they'll be in HD, which is a nice bonus to long-suffering fans. Pretty nice turnaround from Bill's death to this.

"I'm sorry, Sega's down the street."

I thought the main complaints were the "draw" system and the overpowered/unskippable animations for the summons. I actually liked FFVIII more than FFVII. It had a very underrated soundtrack.

I like the twins too, actually. They have a neat power, it's a cool twist on the wonder twins thing.

Don't some of the top-tier guys get a cut of the PPV revenue? If you pay the main eventers a bonus based on fight revenue, that might placate them. As for the lower card guys, I think they should implement a sort of base PPV pay. Someone on the card shouldn't be paid 8k a fight, I think it should be closer to 20k.

I've been pretty interested in this story, since it happened in town. The guy was tasered twice and was still freaking out and acting aggressive. I imagine that if someone was tasered to death, he would have stopped responding instead of continuing to fight. The cops think he may have suffered from something called "excited delirium". This guy's death doesn't seem like it was directly caused by the taser.
