Yep, good pick for NE, he'll be able to contribute.
Another good pick for Arizona, as Dockett is a first-round talent.
And SD grabs a kicker and a center.
They replaced the Freak and whoever else played DE for em last year. They've taken both Travis LaBoy and Antwan Odom, as well as Ben Troupe in this round. Really excellent haul IMO.
Jacksonville gives up a fourth rounder to move up and grab Greg Jones. I'm not getting any analysis of this right now, so anyone want to explain this to me? Insurance for injury-prone Fred Taylor?
Its fill holes big time. But the hole at QB, RB, and WR are msot glaring at this point.
Did the Raiders draft a Center to replace the Crackhead Robins who got lost in Mexico the day before the Superbowl?
They took Jake Grove at 45.
So, Saints take Devery Henderson. And it seems like they took him just to spite the Ravens, who end up taking a DT.
I'm not sure about this move. The Saints already have Joe Horn/Donte Stalworth/Jerome Pathon. They're ok at WR.
The big suprise was that teams that didn't really need an RB took one early, specifically St Louis and Cinci. Who knew they would both grab RBs? When Dallas traded down, it made a lot of sense.
Steelers trade up to get a CB.
At least you aren't listening to it on radio, pinjockey. For half of the first round picks, ESPN had nothing but dead air.
I don't know about that. Green Bay has a good offense with Favre and Green. The Vikes have an excellent offense with Culpepper/Moss/Bennett. The Lions have a great raw offense, but they don't have a defense at the same levels as GB or Minnesota.
Detroit will be an offensive juggernaut in the future though.
