Goldberg vs. Kane would have been huge had they developed it in the fall. -

Yep, But it's still fun to laugh. -
WWE not high on OVW talent.

He's more marketable than both. Not that I'm saying he should be up in the heavyweight division, but they should maybe start pushing the division beyond evil Knoble and Tajiri. They do *way* more with the womens division, comparitively. -

Of course, Goldberg has been booked horribly as a champion and Kane's momentum greatly diminished... which may or may not have been the result of somehhhone sabotaging any potential headliners (Goldberg is a possibility, Kane is up-in-the-air though). Not that I'm pointing fingers. -

Does "pushed more than the other cruiserweights" really mean anything? -
They gotta change something in the rumble

Just put it in a cage where the objective is to get out. -

What are you talking about? HHH drew in 2000. It's clearly Goldberg's fault, since in 2000 Goldberg couldn't draw flies to shit...aka WCW. -

I don't think they ignored it. They just hope we did.

Well it's good to know you're a wrestling fan, Dh. -
*Is praying for a "The Running Man" re-make with Rock in the lead role and Arnold in Jessie Venturas*

And I don't stop bagging on either of them. I think JR is godawful and the King is worthless. However, once upon a time, both have shown they are knowledgable about wrestling - even if they aren't now. Meanwhile, Coach - 4 years in - hasn't shown anything. I forgot to mention: Has the WWE shown they hire non-wrestling fans? Yes.
-
Has he shown any improvement? No. Does he know any moves? No. A wrestling fan would. Someone who was actually interested in what he was doing would.
-
To quote Dynamite: Have you ever listened to the man commentate?

The Socratic Method: Teaching by Asking Instead of by Telling Didn't really care for an answer to be honest, but I do wonder why the WWE hasn't brought in anyone else like Brock. Gerry Brisco is supposedly the one scouting the amateur ranks and JR goes on about the future of wrestling being in that area. They've had a year-and-a-half to find guys.

Comparing Steph to Miss Piggy: 1,000,000,000,000 points.
-
But they've brought up Coach's basketball background before (Usually JR, when listing Coach's "credentials"). Hell, I would venture to say that Coach's success in basketball was a reason why they hired him (not the main reason, but I would say that it had an effect on the braintrusts in the WWE).
-
YES! MIKEOFEVIL! GREAT MIND!!! *envisions Miss Piggy and Flair having a war of chops*
-
I'm just saying "outside wrestling" is the answer. Basketball, Amateur Wrestling, MMA, Football.
-
Coach isn't a wrestling fan. He doesn't bother to improve or actually learn about the product (HOW long has he been there??). The fact that his basketball background is the only thing they can bring up about him shows how lacking he is. It's a fundamental problem in the WWE. The last wrestling fan announcer they hired was Josh Mathews and he's one of the best (if not the best) PBP man they have (despite not having the voice, or the right Colour Man - him and Tazz were pretty darn good together) (and "best they have" isn't saying much, but it's saying something)
-
That's just stupid. We clearly don't think alike.
-
Where did they find Brock? *marks out for "Funaki: Scientist from the Future" reference*
-
So you think that Urkel would be a great GM too?!
-
Well it's good that they hire an announcer knowledgeable in basketball to help even out the other announcers knowledge in football. Wouldn't it be whacky if they hired an announcer knowledgeable in wrestling? Crazy, I know.
