Millionare Albert is so fucking Gold. Don't explain how he got all the money, HE JUST HAS IT, and he's gonna spend it.

A-Train betting on Benoit was one of the coolest things the WWE did in a while. A-train hates Benoit, but he respects his skills and he thinks that Benoit will win. He's faced both Brock and Benoit - and he thinks benoit will win. THAT IS WICKED AWESOME!

Yes, because the fans chanting "cheat, cheat, cheat" meant they loved the car... Ok, I'm all calmed down now... you'll see what I mean after you watch Benoit/Lesnar. Cena/Benoit was fucking sweet. I don't like Cena. Never have, probably never will... but he impressed me tonight. Some really, really, good selling tonight. I'd have to nitpick to find a flaw in it - which I won't. Him selling the arm while locking in the sharpshooter and switching to his other arm when moving towards the ropes was genius. BIG ups to Cena tonight. I don't like him, but I won't be hatin - unless given proper reason to But the ALL STAR, and probably my WWE Wrestler of the Year after tonight, is Chris MOTHERFUCKING Benoit. When he "missed" the crossface (not even sure he did, given Cenas fab sell and..) Benoit went straight for the dropkick - it was seamless. The armwork was just wicked. I marked for the Hammerlock Northern Lights and Benoit doing "You can't see me" before setting up the headbut. I didn't like the finish - but it sends Cena off into a feud with the Big Show which means he's away from Brock which means Benoit vs. Brock all the way to the rumble (FUCK - they are SO having Holly cost Brock the title and Benoit wins it in a screw setting up Brock/Holly at NWO - FUCK). Brock vs. Benoit was... wow... fuck yeah. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): THAT'S what I'm talkin bout! The setting-up of the crossface, with Brock blocking it, just beautiful. They set the match up as perfect as _they_ could. The promo package with Brock was a nice touch. It adds another layer to the feud - Benoit has worked his whole career to get the title, Brock wins it months after debuting. This night was for Benoit and the smile won't leave my face for a long time. THANK YOU. As much as it pains me to say that in my perpetual bitter and jaded state, THANK YOU WWE, Vince, Steph, et. co for giving Benoit this night. Please continue the good work... for the love of god please keep it up. Don't get my hopes up... You teased it before, I don't want to get burned... please, do the right thing... Excuse me, I have to go throw up now... *back* Brocks German suplex was SIIIIIICK! I LOVE IT! That was Albrightian. I LOVE IT. He needs to have that as a finisher. The crowd... I love the crowd... I love you sonnofabitches.... they were SOOOO into that match. They chanted for Cena in the beginning, but I heard some boo's when he won... they were into benoit like a motherfucker. They WANTED him to win. I WANTED HIM TO WIN. I know I'm a Benoit mark, but this was the first time - in a long time - when even though I knew what would happen, I WANTED it. I FELT IT. In all my cynicism, in all my bitterness, I WANTED IT. Brock's act at the end was played perfectly. The sick look on his face, him "tapping out" Benoit... benoit never giving up... it just worked. FUCK YEAH. First time I taped Smackdown in a long, long, long, long time - it was well worth it. I'm gonna watch this baby over, and over, and over.

I don't know about that. Wouldn't that sort of fly in the face of 'Chris Benoit: Wants World Title NO MATTER THE COST'? Unless you spin it as the WWE Title being the 'real' belt worth having. I dunno... I could see the WWE stuff being way more important than the WCW simply because the majority of the direct struggles for the strap have been in WWE. Benoit chose "starting over" in the WWE than being WCW champion. Why did he do it? Better for his family. For his friends. He sacrificed being champion for his family and friends. One of those "selfless" things. He knew WCW was going under, that the WWE was the place to be, so he'd rather be a slave in heaven than a king in hell. WCW then didn't recognize his title reign - he never was "officially" champion. Then you cut to when he entered the WWE. Him winning the title in the 4 way, Foley coming out and saying "nope". So close. Against Austin, Austin cheats to win in both matches, then Benoit suffers an injury at KOTR and comes back and has to start over. Kurt Angle at RR 03, he taps out - his biggest regret - he came so close in that match...

DUDE, the "makin a difference" gimmick would be GOLD right now.

They could have Storm and Venis go back to their regular names. So it would be Lance Evers and Sean Morely... and they can be called EVERMORE! YEAH!

Though I hope to see Nash on TV in a non-badass, all-coach role. I mean, you just can't beat Coach Kevin Nash... without him, the WWE is S.O.L. ...and you know what that means. Wah wha.
-
YAAAAAAAAAAAAY He's in PAAAAAAAAIN! Sick FUCKS. You disgust me. You're all disgusting. How dare you smile and laugh and dance when that poor man is SUFFERING. You make me SICK. FUCK YOU ALL. ..... ... .. . Nah, I'm kiddin. Let's DANCE~!

Benoit should win the title at the rumble. That way they can play up the match he and Angle had in the previous year and "how close" Benoit was. Then you can talk about other times Benoit was close to the title - bring up WCW. I think Benoit choosing to be in the WWE rather than Being WCW champion is something people should know about.
-
Choken One should _n_e_v_e_r_ book for Benoit... cause in the end, Benoit never really benefits from it
-
Because they are just symbols that are completely arbitrary unless there are reasons to support it.

Oh that adrenaline, you never know when it's going to strike...

Mathematics "Brock" + "Angle" + "Ironman" = ****1/2 minimum. Kinda like that "other" Ironman match...

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
RavishingRickRudo replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
SWEEEEEEEEET! They did it this season just-in-case it was their last. They haven't blown their load on it cause there are PLENTY of possible scenarios for Seas6n. I was watching "Sleep Tight", which is the eps. where Wesley steals Connor - that shit is da SHIT. Fuck, I'm pissed at myself for not religiously watching the reruns cause Hotlz is such-a-good villain. I'd put him up there. Cause he's not the conventional bad-guy. Wes's transition into bad-ass wes is fucking flawless. Very, very subtle changes - change in dress after Angel leaves AI and the 3 fend for themselves. It gets more casual as the series go on. The stubble forming during his crisis with Connor. Then the throat slicing and rejection-by-his-peers completes the transformation. AAAAAAAAND I watched the Season 5 Premiere - from watching that, and Sleep Tight, all I can say is... GUNN IS DA MAN! Some great acting in both shows.. he's quickly becoming a favourite. Gunn: (looking at Angel's purchases) Some kind of boomerang vamp stake? Angel: No! They're itty bitty hockey sticks! Gunn: Oh. Angel: Check this out. How cute is this? Huh, seriously? Gunn: Seriously, I'd say you got way to much time on your hands. Fred: Oh, C'mon, you think it's adorable. Gunn: Well, yeah, but at least I'm manly enough to deny it. ... oh, and noticed that Sahjan had similar writings on his face as were in the room w/ Lindsey... just pointin that out. -
My buddy dl'd some of Bas's instructionals; I haven't seen em, but he said they taught him a lot.

There's only 2 reasonable explanations for HHH jobbing 3 PPV's straight (Unforgiven, Survivor Series, Armageddon). 1. He's compensating for his marriage into the McMahon family. 2. He's going to go away for a while. 1 has potential, but it never really stopped him when was engaged or going out with Steph, so it sorta falls through. 2, however, is probably the most likely. From this he can either -come back as a face, thus washing away all of his recent heel losses, since he'll get the big welcome back pop ala 01 (when he interfered on Austin/Angle - he was gone away for a short period of time before that IIRC). There are plenty of possibilities for this and it freshens up HHH's character (given that he has no one left on the face-side to feud with) - come back as a heel.........

Wallid Ishmail used a side choke to render Shungo Oyama unconscious.

I'm seeing a running theme here.. do we attribute Smarkzones new posts to arenaline and forget about all the stuff he did in the past

Alexander Otsuka's double armbar!!!! No submissions are banned unless they are small joint manipulation (bending fingers). Side Choke is a nifty move. Because it doesn't look like much, and it's hard to get on, but when it is - it's sweet. The Gi Choke is a tricky lil sum bitch. Triangle Choke is my personal favourite, though. It's just a brilliant move. Daiju Takase's triangle on Anderson Silva was probably the best one I've seen, but Noguiera's Triangle from the oma platta to Enson Inoue is a thing of beauty. The set up is almost as good as hooking it on - it's like an exact science. Carlos Newton tapped Pat Militich with a straight-up headlock/choke. Flying Armbars and Triangles are rare. Chin-to-the-eye has had some success.

FANTASTIC column I found on VKM

I'm not very enthralled - I couldn't even finish it.... -
For the love of God Buffybeast, change your sig! So that whole Mr. America/Zach Gowen/Steph/Vince/Sable thing that went on FOR MONTHS was pointless? Who'dafig'd?
