"WWE is the goal. Always has been." -Mike "Because there was no wrestling before the WWE... As long as people want guilt-free violence, and as long as there will be people dumb enough to give it them, there will be wrestling." -RRR
-
Fuck the Village, if the wrestling industry is a village, then the WWE is the really big fucking house in the middle of town who make it so no other house could be built bigger than it.
-
Vince fucked up wrestling, yes. Which means, the quicker he's gone, the quicker the recovery process will be (c'mon, it would only be like a DECADE... if it starts now, then you'll see wrestling in 2014 rather than say, 2050 with the way things are going... As for people other than me...Why the fuck should I care about someone else? If they really wanted it, they'd find it.. *hugs MMA... you'll never leave me*

Because there was no wrestling before the WWE... As long as people want guilt-free violence, and as long as there are people dumb enough to it give to them, there will be wrestling. ... best 25 cents I've ever spent! Oh wait.. *recalls one night with Stephanie McMahon* *ponders* Yep, best 25 cents I've ever spent!

The WWE killed the wrestling industry... so really, it's just wishing the death penalty... the US government says that's morally right.
-
*wishes death on the WWE* *wishes death on the McMahons* AHAHHAHAH NO ONE CAN STOP ME!!! *wishes more death on the WWE* *wishes the dead WWE could come back to life* *wishes death on the WWE again*

The Death of the WWE wouldn't benefit the Wrestling Industry overnight, however, in the long-term it would since Vince wouldn't gobble up all the talent or continue to give wrestling a black-eye. As long as the WWE exists, the Wrestling Industry will not recover.

I don't see the split as anything new because it's still the SAME shows with the SAME people (or type of people) getting pushed. They aren't even "different" shows.
-
The thing with Austin was that though he was the "badass" and whatnot, he always ended up doing the "right thing".
-
Yeah Mike, I was thinkin about that and the fact that the title must be defending 30 days whereas PPV's skip a month for each brand. I love the idea of a supercard like the Clash - I don't see the problem in trying it... which is a huge problem with the WWE right now and something that you mentioned; they refuse to try anything new.
-
I don't see Steph exploding in that dream, so I can't quite endorse it.
-
The only thing I am interested in is what they do with Benoit... Broken Record, much?
-
That's funny cause I get the exact opposite feeling.
-
*Vince looks at the numbers* I knew it. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it... It was infront of me this whole time. *dails phone* Yeah, that's right, put ALL the belts on a McMahon... Shane and Steph can have the Tag Titles along with the US and IC belts, I'll take the World Title, and Linda gets the WWE Title... no, jesus christ that's just insane.. what am I thinking? Linda gets the World Title and I get the WWE Title... ain't no way I'm wearing THAT belt... and give the cruiserweight title to my grandson once he's born...

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
RavishingRickRudo replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
YEAH! That eps. will be on tomorrow! It's called "Dead End"... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Lindsey, doing his best James Dean, packs up his truck so he can leave L.A. Angel is there, apparently to see him off and tell him not to come back. Lindsey tells Angel that the key to Wolfram & Hart is to not let them make you play their game, but to make them play yours. Angel thanks him and warns him not to drive too fast because there are a lot of cops in the area. Lindsey drives off to reveal that Angel has attached a sign that says “Cops Suck” on the back of his truck. (I think you mean this) -
Then Benoit comes down to the ring, and they get nose-to-nose... Then Angle comes down head-bobbin around with his red, white, and blue on and get's in between them... Benoit and Fedor look at Angle, then look at each other, and smile and Benoit says "I know, never wrestled there once! I mean, on the tours sure, but in New Japan or All Japan? NEVER!" and Fedor laughs.

Man, and here I was thinking they'd show up on 7th Heaven, Smallville, or something crappy. -
Ric Flair: Greatest worker, wrestler...
RavishingRickRudo replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
Sting vs. The Giant from Slamboree 96 is like... really fucking good. Not like "best ever" good, but "this really shouldn't be this good" good. -
Bob Sapp vs. Mark Henry~! OOOH THE HUMANITY!
-
STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!!! *imagines a showdown between Randy Couture and Kurt Angle* STOP IT!!!! Don't do this to me!
-
The majority of those who have left, just stopped watching (MILLIONS of fans) and turned to stuff like Survivor or Football or the indirect competition. There are a few thousand who have turned to the alternative of ROH, TNA (c'mon, ROH avg. maybe 700 per show and they are considered the "hottest" indy next to TNA - I dunno what the buyrates for TNA are or how many tapes RF sells of ROH, but I bet they are a very small % in relation to those who just stopped watching the WWE. ) That WCW audience just disappeared too.
-
They're watching the ROHs. The NWA:TNAs. The MLWs THEY ARE??
-
Don't mock me Raza. Don't you mock me...
-
I only mean the WORLD title - the secondary titles would be defended on TV (though those should be special occasions). It's not like the champion can't wrestle on the TV shows - infact, it would put a heightened importance on him and his title if he did.
-
Yeah, on rough count, I'm lookin at 25 gimmick matches - that includes 3 ways and any special stipulation added to the match.
