Yep, quite the quandry there. Having dual PPV's hurts the split, but not having the "big shows" hurts the buyrate. Long-term, having only 1 dual ppv is best. But we all know the WWE isn't very good at long term.

Maybe next year after they have a series of split PPVs - they've only had 2 each so far. Speaking of which, the 4 joint PPV's aren't doing anyone any favours in terms of believability. One a year (WM) I can see.

Yeah, I can definitely see that... it's just, the Ginsu Prophecy was integral to the show for the longest time.

Especially when McMahons cross-over on both shows at will... and how they use the same crappy booking for everything they do, and the same crappy format and the same 2 announce team... it's the little things that will make fans believe in the split (ok, they will never actually BELIEVE in the split, but it would at least give each brand distinction).

Oh and I totally agree on that Angel thing... he was barely in the eps. but how he was used - it made him out to be the "big guy". As if we were all lucky to have him on screen... dispite the name of the show being "Angel", and the past 4 years dedicated to him... it's still like every time he was on screen "OMG it's ANGEL!".. ok, it wasn't like that, but he was given added importance. 1)Telling Fred about the Budget, 2)Telling Spike about the Prophecy, 3)Knocking the fuck outta Reaper, 4)Locking Reaper away - every move, a powerplay.

The scene with Angel and Spike said that no matter what _they_ do, they still _did_ what they did in the past, and nothing can erase that. They're both going to hell, it's just a matter of making what time they have left worth it. Though I don't like Angel saying the prophecy is a lie since they basically based the show in its first few seasons ON that prophecy.

I was totally diggin that episode. Really well done. A different "Feel" from all the others. 1)Not enough EVE, c'mon, how can I judge the foxy if the foxy is not on TV long enough to foxy it up? EH? 2)While it was a Spike-centric eps. and they tend to not-be-as-good-as-they-should-be-given-that-other-one, this one was real good and managed not to overload us on the Spike-quotient. 3)Spike and Angels convo was fucking fabulous. After watching the season 2 eps. where Angel/Darla/Spike/Dru wreck house in the flashbacks, its fun to see it continue-on. And the lil snips at each others "style" - that kinda stuff is what makes this show so enjoyable. I was waiting for the forehead jab, but it never came. 4)"He goes to hell" "Yeah" "Kinda figured that" reminds me sooo much of "She's a robot" and I love it. They build up all this pressure on Fred and .... I love it. 5) Reaper was a good villain, over-the-top in a subdued way. Cool way of building up to it, explains Spike's situation rather well and gives a lil bit of closure. 6)"Welcome to hell" = Great line. 7) Charles Gunn Uber-Lawyer RULES. 8) Is this "let's give Lorne 5 seconds a screen time going to be a running joke? Now that Spikes deal is done, let's give the other players more ice time, okay? 9)Ditto with Wes. He is turning back into bookworm Wes, which sucks. He still has the grizzle, so why not make use of it??? DAMMIT WHERE ARE MY EXTENDO WEAPONS!?! 10)Why couldn't they have done a shower scene with Lilah? It was kinda hard to see Fred behind all those droplets of water vapour
