Call Screener IIRC. Gallagher airs on ESPN Classic Canada, whatta bad show. He couldn't cross-over into hostdom. I used to be an OTR fan, but I have no use for it now - cept for wrestling interviews. I remember Trish Stratus being on and "WWF Wrestler" under her name for the longest time before she debuted.

Two great quotes by Lance. I like the "Evers" touch, it's a little thing but it makes it more real.

Stu Hart 1915-2003 October 18,2003 As most of you should know by now Stu Hart passed away, at the age of 88. Stu is best known for being the Father of both Bret and Owen Hart, but to the wrestling industry and the City of Calgary he was so much more than that. Being a part of both, I was struck pretty hard be the news of his death. Considering his age, I probably shouldn’t have been as shocked as I was, but there are certain things in life you just never consider. Stu Hart was one of those tough old veterans you just figured would always be there. Despite any of the medical problems he had in the past, he always just seemed too tough to ever die. Even in a wheel chair, as he was the last time I saw him, he had an iron clad hand shake that still made me think that this guy could kick my ass. Stu Hart was more than just a man, he was a tradition. A tradition, a part of the history of the wrestling industry and the city of Calgary, he will be sorely missed. While I didn’t know Stu all that well, I did have the good fortune of meeting him on several occasions, and thanks to a fan, from this site, I even have a photograph of us together. Stu was indirectly a big part of why and how I got into this business, and I will always be grateful for that. His Stampede Wrestling Legacy was what turning me into a wrestling fan. Most of the guys I loved watching, honed their skills in Stampede Wrestling; it was one of the best independent organizations there ever was. The British Bulldogs, Bret and Owen Hart, Jim Niedhart, Brian Pillman, Bad News Allen, Chris Benoit, Gerry Morrow, Jushin Liger, and so many more. If you go back far enough almost every big name in this industry worked for Stu at one point in time or another. It was this Stampede Wrestling tradition of great workers that led me to Calgary to become a wrestler. In the summer of 1990 I moved to Calgary and enrolled in the Hart Brother’s Pro-Wrestling Camp, where Stu continued his indirect involvement in my career. Stu was 75 at the time and wasn’t directly involved in the camp any more, but his son Keith was, and he helped trained me in that same Calgary tradition, the Harts are so famous (or rather infamous) for. I’m proud to say, “I was trained by the Harts”, and I like to think that you can actually see a piece of that Calgary Wrestling Tradition, in my work today. We often speak of “The Hart Wrestling Family”, there was of course Stu, Helen, and their twelve children, but I think on a lot of levels there is so much more to it than that. There is a certain kin-ship among those of us who were lucky enough to both live and survive the Stampede Wrestling experience. We are all, in a way, an-extended member of the Hart Wrestling Family, and we all shared a very sad day with the passing of the head of the family, Stu Hart. He will be missed, but more importantly, remembered. Lance Evers

So it's Tazz'z last night on Velocity? NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Please don't tell me they're replacing him with RUE. "She's pretty so she must know a lot about wrestling"... Why don't they just call Confidential, "The Trish Stratus Hour"? I really don't like the "Wrestler Tours ___" - they need to spice it up and put two very unlikely wrestlers on these tours and then see what happens... like Spanky and Undertaker, or Zach Gowen and Nathan Jones, or Matt Hardy and Chris Benoit, or John Cena and Guido... it would be fanfuckintastic. The Kurt Angle thing was underwhelming, it was just a series of clips of Kurt lookin at stuff... oooh, entertainment... they should have showed him interacting with other wrestlers and whatnot... wrestlers on the road isn't just about going site-seeing. "Ooooh we're the WWE, we're international, look at all this crap that you don't really care about unless you live there" - it's not about the place, it's the people IN the place that matters. Was I the only one waiting for a Live Audio Wrestling plug?? "And I did a lil something on a smark wrestling radio sh-- I mean, I modeled in thongs" *marked out for OTR and Gallagher* Watching the Shawn/Marty match, I realized something...The WWE really needs more managers with stables. And sluts. Wow, that Randy Orton thing had as much point as a golf ball. They could have summed that up in 10 seconds yet went on forever. Mene Gene fucking rules. They don't use him enough.

"AHAHAHAHA He's SHORT! IT'S FUNNY CAUSE HE'S NOT LIKE US!!!" - Vince McMahon

Yeah, there are a lot of smart guys on Sherdog, but it seems for every smart guy there are 10 morons who only post one sentence in a thread and it usually is a childish insult. It's disgusting how many threads there are on one subject that could be cut down upon if there wasn't those 10 morons trolling along.
-
www.ironlife.com and www.mma-fighter.com are much better sites IMO for mma discussion (and fighter montages). Sherdog is just too... what's the word... well, the more people there are, the more threads there are (usually on the same topic), the more people who can ruin discussions ... ruin discussions. RRR: Still a white belt at Sherdog, therefore am clearly not able to discuss Mixed Martial Arts..

but...but...but... it wasn't... funny..
-
The spoilers made it sound funny?? "Kurt dresses up like Cena and raps, brings out a midget dressed up as Angle" sounded funny?

"Main Eventers" can carry a main event on their own. I can't recall any time Angle has done that - he has always been supported by Austin, or Rock, or Taker - and even then he is usually playing second fiddle to someone else. Benoit vs. Angle RR is probably the only exception to the rule, and even then Steiner/HHH got more attention.

Of course. Who do you think helped him jump over the fence at the zoo and subsequently distracted the security guards with a skillful rendition of the wildly popular stageshow "Ragtime"? -

Angle is only "mid card entertaining". It works for skits and whatnot but it doesn't make me want to buy anything that he sells.
-
The only way Angle can be serious is if he tones it down. I mean to complete comatose levels - like when he was announcing on smackdown a few weeks ago. Anything higher than that and its neckbobbing and weird pacin.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
RavishingRickRudo replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
That's the same thing they did with Cordy and Angel in that (horrid) episode with the ballet or opera or something. So either this is ingenius storytelling, or just lazy. -
I see their plan... After that Tokyo Dome show, they're not really after Hogan anymore, they're after CHONO! Black Money

...Really? Haven't noticed

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

That is correct. The Angel reruns up here are showing the Darla saga, "There's going to be trouble, and I say bring it on" -
Alright now, break it up.
