They could dress S2H (or "The Worm"), up like Mark Hamill in Jay and Silent Bob Strike back..
-
Oh Oh Oh!!! Have Scotty try to lure Rosey into the Dark-side!! This = ratings.
-
Scotty would make a perfect evil villain to match up against the Hurricane. He has a kind of cornyness about him that could make the angle work. Something light and fun for the WWE fans.

Train can wrestle, talk, and not injure someone
RavishingRickRudo replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
When I watched the match the first time, I didn't really like it. However, the second time I really enjoyed it. They did some really nifty stuff in it. I will watch the match again (it's been a while)and I'll give you a more elaborate explanation. -

I can't think of an Albert match that was better than the RVD AR99 match. And I _like_ Albert. -

Ballz vs. RVD from Anarchy Rulz 99 was better than any match that Albert has had in his career. BALLZ VS. RVD! -
Given that the vast majority of the television time was given to the McMahons, the "fault" of the suspected low buyrate falls on them.
-
I guess one legged wrestlers don't draw. *throws everything he knows about life, love and god out the window*
-
Vince: Well, it's a shame that poor Gowan kid dragged down the buyrate like that Hogan chap. I know what will work, Me vs. Angle! SUMMERSLAM~! Steph: I told you daddy! Sable is bad news! Let's bring back Sunny! I think we could do some BIG business! HHH: Yeah, and put me and Kev on Smackdown too. We're the real deal Dad. Not like that Brock Lesnar.
-
Austin/Rocky didn't have nearly the depth that those other matches had. I may be missing something and I'm open to your interpretation.
-
*Crosses fingers* Please be true, Please be true, Please be true. McMahons =/= $$$
-
And I don't know what you're talking about with the ratings, but if I'm right about it - who am I to argue ?
-
This is a pretty common article found throughout the internet - "I like wrestling, not sports entertainment" "The guys I like aren't getting pushed, though they deserve it" "Vince McMahon is a moron", etc. It's good that you've gotten it out of your system, but next time try for something new.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 7

Don't listen to them! Season 4ngel ruled. It just was too much too soon and some people couldn't handle it! -

RVD has had MUCH better matches than A-train. -
Or Hunter is giving up the title
-
But you're defining quality in relation to the story. Workrate is independant of the story. They may complement each other, but they are not one nor are they co-dependant.
-
Yeah, Williams has had a horrible career in dramtic roles...Cause that thing... what was that thing called... um... err... oh yeah, the OSCAR for GWH, yeah, that's just the bottom of the barrel.

I finally saw Old School
RavishingRickRudo replied to TheOriginalOrangeGoblin's topic in Television & Film
Van Wilder fucking RULED! YOU! It ruled YOU! SAY IT! How can you find "oh, it's so warm" and "I think I've had these before" not funny? I went into Old School not thinking very much of it - after all, the previews didn't make it out to be all that special - but from the opening with the singer to the dart in the neck to the Daily Show actors, I had so much fun watching it and nearly busted a gut. -
The eps were Spade tries to get Mya to sleep with a Model is one of the greatest eps. in Television history. Who was the new cast member?
-
Angle *did* to the ultra-swank moonsault off the top of the cage. However, Benoit did the my-neck-is-so-fucked-up-I-might-die swandive headbut off the top of the cage as well. And that sorta thing gets bonus points

The first two Angle/Kane matches were surprisingly good. I was looking forward to their WM match. What does that mean kids? That's right, low expectations. -
I also said that good hoss matches work when they don't go beyond their capabilities (well, in so many words). 20 minutes with Albert and Taker? No way.
-
So your "total package" Choken doesn't have to: Fly Strike Submit Grapple ?? Or do you lump all those in with "Rate".
-
Like I said before: Seriously, I'd really like to know who these "internet marks" or "IWC" are because it sure as hell doesn't apply to me, and it seems it doesn't apply to a lot of people in this thread. So can we either cut the generalizations or use more accurate generalizations, cause this seems to be going nowhere. ---- You're over-complicating it Deep. You're mixing application with content. You had it right with "I take the word work to me physically exerting ones self" but you added on "to create a believable well put together match." Workrate is simple, "the rate of work" in a match. How fast one goes, how high one jumps, how hard one bumps, how fast one gets up, etc. It's effort. It's the "physical exertion". What you're saying is the equivalent of "paint and brushes are used to convey meaning and story on the canvas". Workrate is just the quality of paint and brushes, it's the application. What is done with it - be it painting a wall or a work of art relates to content. Selling (rather than bumping) relates to the storytelling element of wrestling. That is what "sucks you into the match". An example is spotfests - high workrate, low artistic value. Meanwhile, say, Hart vs. Piper Wm VIII, is about medium-low workrate, but high artistic value. A match doesn't have to be moving 100 mph (or have "high workrate") to be good, though it helps
