    Wrestlemania 21

I expect the main event will be Benoit jobbing to the Gobbeldy Gooker, who demasks to be HHH. However, I also expect Orton vs Edge as Vince will have approximately a year to decide which up and comer he likes better than try to transfer heat by having one guy job clean to another. If that happens, go Edge.

    Merchandise at WWE House Shows

No. Especially since it's technically an international show. They'd be crazy not to pack on SD stuff because of Eddie and Rey alone.

    Wrestlemania one hit wonders

What's up with this thing about how Heat matches don't count? I mean, I knew it was popular to shit on WMXIX's card lineup when we saw how RVD had been shoved so low down the card, but if you're out there in front of that many people and there's not one, but two large fucking signs in the room reading WRESTLEMANIA, then it is.

Outsourcing: Good or Bad in the long term?

You work in a casino? That's... Interesting. Please don't tell me you work for Trump.

Former "Terrorism Czar" speaks out against Bush

I don't mind it, I just don't like it spreading to other threads. Otherwise, we risk all current threads turning into four or five discussing the headline issue of the day.

Outsourcing: Good or Bad in the long term?

It would actually be a step up over here. Unless, of course, the robot's OS was installed with Spanish as it's primary langauge setting. Then it would be an accurate California fast food employee. And no, that's not racist, that's saying that's what the most common language behind the counter is at any of the places here.

Props for dragging this joke garbage into another thread.

And the Pentagon explosion was caused by humor as well. I imagine that one happened when someone answered the phone with "This is the Armed Forces: we frag 'em, you bag 'em", causing an entire side of the building to explode

Outsourcing: Good or Bad in the long term?

Well, there should be limits, or maybe it should be cut back, but I don't think it should be abolished entirely.. Helping a laid-off worker feed his family while he looks for a job is different than providing housing and other crap for people who don't want to work.

Outsourcing: Good or Bad in the long term?

Whether you think it's good or bad, I think it's kind of lame to support outsourcing and complain about the government giving unemployment benefits at the same time. One leads to the other. We either fight to keep the jobs we already have going or we're going to have people between jobs. I know there's people who abuse government assistance, but there's also people who need the money and use it practically with plans to get off.

    HUGE COLOSSAL WRESTLING NEWS!!!

In my mind, Maven beats Spike Dudley and Funaki for uselessness. Funaki had a good tag team going. Spike Dudley took crazy bumps for other people. Maven won a game show. His existance on the roster only adds to the whole "these guys aren't talented, I could do that" thing.

He was going just fine until Steve Austin had a beer bash on his corpse. When he was hired he said he had medicine that made him ill if he got near alcohol. I imagine he wasn't taking it so he wouldn't get naseous and vomiting while Austin stomped him down and started spilling beer all over the ring. I think in one bit SCSA actually poured it right on him.

    Nash Shoots On WWE

This irked me. And why was there so many stunners in that match? I loved how Hall sold it, bouncing up and touching the roof of the building and everything, but any other heel is dead cold after one stunner, so the only explination is that Austin just wanted to play with him and give him an extended squash. And then, of course, he left that night to go home because he was "burned out" and Debra needed a good thumpin'. If Vince had tried to treat the NWO guys as a novelty act, it would have worked. It should have been a really special occasion when one of those guys stepped in the ring. It would have preserved their heat and brought an interesting mesh of old and new. But Vince used them like any other wrestler. And so they got banged up and put on the injury list real fast.

    Weekend Cable News shows

On the weekends, the cable stations just kind of turn into a crapfest of pre-recorded programmng and little interesting. Broadcast is where it's all at. I like Meet The Press if I remember to see who's on it. Russert and Fox News Sunday (oddly enough) have the toughest interviews. In the leadup to Iraq, Tony Snow was actually giving good questions to Colin Powell. Biggest Pushover is George Stephanopolis, who let Powell (who did almost all the programs on one Sunday) just sit and spin the administration's rhetoric without challenge.

George W Bush makes joke about lack of WMDs

Is this true of the allies who went along with him for this idea and now feel stupid for it? Their reactions seem to be a lot more sobering than jokes and giggles.

George W Bush makes joke about lack of WMDs

Right to the end? No. After I changed it, there were still a people telling me that it was funny as it was and that I shouldn't have changed it. What I did at first was simply my kneejerk reaction but after I sat and thought about it, I realized I was wrong. I apologize for the error in judgment.

Not one that I've ever seen. Your friend and mine (and yes, I say that mockingly), Pat "God told me Bush would win" Buchanan?

George W Bush makes joke about lack of WMDs

I told you I didn't know where it came from, since I was searching for images of Bush on the telephone. I even changed it for you. He was completely aware of what he was saying and what kind of context it would be used. I was just taking a picture that came up in a search engine out of context. The only thing I opposed to in that arguement was that you were calling me some kind of insensitive monster who was trying to laugh at tragedy. I refused to accept that, since it was just plain incorrect.
