City of San Francisco sues State of California
Jobber of the Week replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The California Supreme Court on Thursday ordered an immediate halt to gay marriages in San Francisco, delivering a victory to conservatives who have fought for a month to block the ceremonies. The court did not rule on the legality of such marriages, and justices said they would hear such a case in May or June. The dispute began Feb. 12, when Mayor Gavin Newsom ordered his administration to issue same-sex marriage licenses. A steady stream of gay and lesbians from around the country have traveled to be married at City Hall, just a block from the Supreme Court. -
Examples of racism? Does comparing the Koran to Mein Kampf count?

...and dies April 1.... If you were with me when I listened to Michael Savage in his days where everything was some sort of obscure plot to let China take over the US, I would have told you this guy would have never made it.

Bullfeathers. This isn't just a party issue, this is the kind of thing you see from both sides and I'm sick of it. The worst thing is that Bush is leaping onto it as an election year issue. Wait a minute...

WWE: Day of Reckoning for the Gamecube
Jobber of the Week replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in Video Games
All this talk about minor leagues and all the photos are of HHH and Benoit. =/ I suspect the sequel is called "WWE: Randy Orton" where you instantly start as an upper-midcarder and have to try not to injure yourself as you walk into guys and they immediately job to you, or try some jobber offense that is easily blocked with the Golden Aura of Management. Easiest. Wrestling Game. Ever. -
Howard Stern says anti-Bush comments...
Jobber of the Week replied to bobobrazil1984's topic in Current Events
Well, Stern's defense is that he's been doing this for many years, and how the government never bothered him until he started loudly being anti-Bush. I don't listen to him, I don't have an opinion, those are simply his views. -
No way. There's no such thing as picking on Bill O'Reilly and it being Not Funny. O'Reilly haterizing will still be funny in the year 4040. Bill just simply earns every little bit of it.

Howard Stern says anti-Bush comments...
Jobber of the Week replied to bobobrazil1984's topic in Current Events
Vyce, damnit, I just said it's not a conservative/liberal thing. It's idiocy on both sides. Heck, from the article you quoted: Bravo, Rep. Paul, for standing up for free speech. I might not agree with him on anything else, but he did the right thing here. -
Neither move was botched, so....

Actually, MS has been pretty good as a developer. When Freelancer was taking forever in development, Microsoft finally canned Jason Roberts and put development of the game in capable hands. That saved the game from medicority and might be the only reason it ever reached shelves. MS Flight Sim has been made since the Tandy/Amiga days. MS has actually been a good partner when it comes to games, although sometimes they wind up rushing a product. See Asheron's Call 2 for more of that. Actually, Nintendo fans who are clinging to their happy-go-lucky 80s gaming franchises are the worst to me. Nothing's more fun than seeing someone call you stupid because you think GTA is fun. Then comes the stereotype of "I bet if any game had whores and guns you'd love it even if it wasn't fun!" Uh, no, you bitch.

Can we please just end the Cruiserweight division?
Jobber of the Week posted a topic in The WWE Folder
Let's face it, guys, Cruiserweights are never going to get the proper push they deserve as a group, and with Vince wanting to form an ECW brand, we could successfully dissolve some good CWs who have nowhere to go in the new ECW while reviving areas that need help with the rest. Here's what I'd do with the various guys: Tajiri/Akio/Sakoda: Go to ECW Billy Kidman: Tag team with Shane Helms (what the hell is he doing on Raw, anyway?) Chavo Guererro: Singles star Funaki: Whatever. Not like they're doing anything with him ever anyway. Jamie Noble: Go to ECW Nunzio: Go to ECW Paul London: Tag team with Shannon Moore Rey Mysterio: Singles star Shannon Moore: Tag team with Paul London Ultimo Dragon: Is this guy even going to be employed post-Mania? In addition, move some of the guys who have personality but not enough screen time over to the new ECW (Dudleys, RVD, etc) and we've done four things: * Thinned the Raw/SD rosters enough that they no longer need to be split, and you would have WWE and ECW * Given solid workers with nowhere to go such as Tajiri and Noble a place with Paul E where they can be booked better * Made two singles stars with Chavo and Rey * Added a popular new tag team in Moore/London following the Hardys "two guys that people pop for because they're attractive and kill themselves" formula. Letting go of the Raw/SD split would also fill the void Brock has left in the main event by allowing main eventers on both sides to match up against each other. ECW wouldn't have as much star power except maybe RVD, but it rarely ever did anyway and it comes complete with it's own group of diehard fans so it doesn't need some ultracharasmatic main to make people watch. ECW > Cruiserweight Division -
Normally, I'd be offended, but since "Care Not Cash," I'll agree.

WWE "Insiders" make their WM Predictions
Jobber of the Week replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in The WWE Folder
Someone forgot about Kane/UT it seems. I guess UT's match is going to be the one with the big "Holy Shit" moment. Or it'll have no finish. -
I would sooner want to see Donkey Kong on both shows than Fuck Goldberg on one.

Wrestlers upset about Taker return....
Jobber of the Week replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
Or maybe when he walks the ropes Cole will shout "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS MOVE IS CURRENT UNDERTAKER." -
Unless Vince gets even more desperate, in which case, like Austin, he'll be booked as the strongest guy in the company yet only have to wrestle 2-3 times a year.

Ric Flair on steroids, from Meltzer.
Jobber of the Week replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
I think Piper was just generally talking about drugs. He never seemed like a roided body to me but he was talking about how much he hates himself for being weak and falling into the drug trap. I think the last time roids came up was one of those Vince interviews with the likes of Costas or Gumbel. -
Can we please just end the Cruiserweight division?
Jobber of the Week replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in The WWE Folder
I didn't say a show with only cruiserweights. I said dissolve the cruiser division, put the guys that can hang with the brawlers (Noble, Tajiri) in ECW, and use the flippy-floppy guys (Mysterio, Kidman, Moore) differently. -
Or Austin. "Excuse me for sayin' this *sticktches an ear* but I don't think anyone in this entire building knew a goddamn thing of what you were trying to say."
-
HHH is off to go filming, and besides, he can try to call anyone over from Smackdown to Raw as he likes (as we've seen with Edge and Benoit) so what the fuck does it matter? It's no different to have a split or not.
-
This is the answer. It would actually give some of the guys lost in the amount of talent on Raw (such as Booker, Jericho, RVD) something to do.
-
Please, please don't tell me you find nothing wrong in a guy who was promoted to be the next star, who's fucking slogan was "The Next Big Thing", jobbing in a feud to a guy who in effect is The Old Big Thing. No matter how much of a Taker mark you are, there's some bad logic in that.
-
He hasn't been booked well in a year. This is the man who went from Backlash to the Iron Man match without pinning anyone. This is the man, who, while teaming with the Big Show, lost 3 times in one match. This is a man who was booked in a Pseudo-Gay relationship with Kurt Angle. This is a man who needed four men to run in and help him win a match against Undertaker. This is a man who won the title in a WrestleMania main event and had the biggest lame duck championship of all time. I believe the Great Kong Reign of early to mid 2003 was worse than Jericho's run with the belts.

That was actually why I used "into"
