Smackdown's No Way Out PPV *Main Event* Revealed
Jobber of the Week replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
WWE has integrated the WCW title's lineage into the WWE title. When I went to WMXIX, I bought their 2003 Preview book that had a big flowchart-style page showing the original WWE belts as well as the WCW belts that came with the purchase and arrows pointing to where they go. The WHC belt was shown as starting when Eric pulled it out of the briefcase, and the WCW title has an arrow pointing towards the current WWE title. They've kept it organized this way very consistantly, especially compared to their sudden memory loss on other historical issues. -
I haven't watched this show in a while, so can someone tell me why Vince is a face again? I stopped watching around the "JR is fired" episode when the whole family turned heel, and then a few weeks later Vince is doing all this fan favorite stuff again. What's going on?

Yes, but Scott Keith is in DEMAND, baby. Hot property! In other news, Jobber of the Week is getting an agent, because "if Scott Keith has one, then what the hell..." I think Keith should also get a spokesperson like the President, who can answer the people who write to him in his blog, post on his blog for him, and when his wife is waiting at home pissed off he can send his spokesperson to hold a conference there and refuse to answer pressing questions.

PS2 launched huge in Japan because people wanted FANTAVISION? Yeah right. There's only been three killer apps at launch in the past few years: 1) Halo (and some would argue with that) 2) Lumines 3) Soul Calibur Aside from those three, there haven't been any truly GREAT launch games since Super Mario 64. Quake 4 is on the PC and has been for over a month. It's somewhere between okay and crappy. Here, let me save you $60: Ditto Call of Duty 2. The only X360 game that approaches Killer App status would be PGR3, but it's too simulatorish to appeal to most people. And even though it's probably a great game, I doubt it's "sitting in line for 15 hours" great.

I'd say Fro's list is kind of dumb. Kane is obviously gassing nowhere near as much as he used to. Shawn Michaels is built like a man made of pipe cleaners, Undertaker's had enough botched spots lifting guys that I doubt he's gassed. And I agree with LPYC about London, too. Someone I think has been on it the past year or so is Coach.

I'd tend to believe, just because he has one of those bodies that looks like great genetics at work, not blown up out of control with science. Also, HHH is not going to get caught in any WWE-organized steroid test for obvious reasons.

Windows Picture and Fax Viewer; Any way to have...
Jobber of the Week replied to devo's topic in Technology
Nope. A lot of people think Windows Image Viewer is a POS, and in your situation you may be in that crowd. Try IrfanView and see if it works for you. It's free and one of the most popular image viewer apps for Windows. -
PS: Recreate your favorite PPV poster!

Which is strange because given the location of his hands it appears he is playing POCKET POOL.

Purchased. I'm not going to have it for a few weeks yet, no later than December 16th, but at least it's purchased. And I got a bundle at face value, meaning I can sell Madden and the shit I don't want on eBay for some returns. But $675 for a Premium box with 3 games and a controller is way, WAY better than $1200 for a Premium box alone. And I've owned HDTV for over a year and while it no longer wows me like it used to, regular TV now looks so bad that I hate to watch anything other than the Daily Show in SD.

Video Games that make you think of Eddie Guerrero
Jobber of the Week replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Video Games
Soul Calibur. "Eddie Guererro was wounded, but the soul still burns!" Except they'd have to replay his death from three angles first. -
Interesting line from the torch
Jobber of the Week replied to geniusMoment's topic in The WWE Folder
I say that because I think you overstate how much the media pays attention to Olympians once the Games are over with. Again, Florence Griffith-Joyner is the only dead Olympian in recent times to get serious media attention for her death. Foley (due to being known as a best-selling author as well as wrestler) and Flair (popular for decades) would both at least make the "in other news..." segments that Eddie did. -

Did you not read my first post? I said "Schwarzenegger (pre-Governor days.)" -
Interesting line from the torch
Jobber of the Week replied to geniusMoment's topic in The WWE Folder
Outside of wrestling, Hogan is a bit of a corny, made-for-one-role actor who pretends to be a little bigger than life to compensate for his lack of real talent. The same could have been said for Arnie and Sly. -
Interesting line from the torch
Jobber of the Week replied to geniusMoment's topic in The WWE Folder
Olympic medalists kind of get forgotten about after they win their medal and get their Wheaties box. It was mentioned earlier in this thread that Roulan Gardner nearly froze to death and most people didn't know until he showed up on Letterman or something. With Olypmics occuring every two years, American medalists die fairly regularly and the only one to get serious media attention was FloJo. Hulk Hogan, however, is an entertainment icon that transcends wrestling. It would be like if Stallone or Schwarzenegger (pre-Governor days) had died. -
Interesting line from the torch
Jobber of the Week replied to geniusMoment's topic in The WWE Folder
If the Torch turns out to be wrong on this, nobody here or in the rest of the IWC should ever take them more seriously than INSIDERZPROWRASSSLINNEWZ ever, EVER again. Believe you me. As for who's more popular in the mainstream eye, I'd say Flair or Mick Foley (who is noteworthy in the public arena and has pushed himself and isn't the most healthy guy aroud) is more likely to get attention in the press than Angle. The most attention will be given to Hogan when his time comes around, though. I don't see Flair or Mick offing themselves though. They've both been successful family men while on the road and Mick has money and Flair either has money or could get money from his idolator HHH if he wanted to get out. What about Shawn? I know that he's Religious As Fuck but a lot of people use that to deter themselves from depression. And Shawn's abused his body on substances quite a bit over the years until religion convinced him to clean up. Could seeing someone else who was saved die from their former lifestyle shaken him? Shawn also has a bunch of belt reigns and big matches to his career compared to Eddie's run in North America. -
I'm torn. Walking into Joe's Ford and burning an Explorer in the wee hours isn't some great accomplishment. But I agree with NCMike that it's not terrorism. Vandalism and destruction of property, but not terrorism.

ESPN Radio Host makes comments on passing
Jobber of the Week replied to Paul Stanley's topic in The WWE Folder
he won't be taken seriously now <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is ESPN, not Oprah's Book of the Month club. Screw-ups like the one above are minor enough to still qualify for ESPN's MENSA division. -
I just got around to reading that thread just now and I haven't laughed so hard in quite a while. Matt is the guy who is smarter than 95% of us all but is real modest and humble and isn't here to trump himself up. Bwaaahaha. He'll be the first to tell you that he banged one girl so hard that the next fifty girls in line felt it but, when called on it, says all this sexual escapade on the internet stuff doesn't really matter anyway. BWAAAAHAHA. Finally, after being bashed from all comers, he says that the thread should be closed because it has been hijacked from it's original purpose into a thread about something else (bashing him.) Thus, accomplishing the trifecta of LOLZ. Aaaahahahahhaha. The comedy is strong with this one. Also, I like how he keeps constantly comparing himself to D-rated Hollywood talent for having a neckbeard that every other dweeb who likes to internet for too many hours each day has.

Open it up in GSpot and see what it tells you under audio, because "audio codec 55" is bull. GSpot will tell you what kind of audio track it is and how many, if any, codecs that can play it are installed on your computer.

Betty was infinitely hotter anyway. I'm just glad we don't get these things.

Loook at the doggie face.. It's so cute even in creepy B&W.. Awwwww.... And you're going to tell me that this kind of great judgment in greeting cards isn't the worthy of a Supreme Court seat? You cat-loving dogist!
