WWE's Goldberg Set For Santa's Slay
Jobber of the Week replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Is this the Christmas movie that was mentioned last month or another? If Goldberg lands TWO "Santa With Muscles" films in a row, he'll have beaten Hogan for crappyness! -
Should Bret Hart be at WM 20 or not?
Jobber of the Week replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
NO ONE should be signed by the company from this moment on that can not wrestle a full-time schedule. NO. ONE. It did not help WCW one bit, it did not help WWE with Flair and the nWold. -
Fucking RVD. Although I don't like his wrestling, I was with him up until he changes his mind and signs a new deal. TNA + the comic book store = Money to feed the family and time to actually see the family.

I wondered why the Media Whore was whining about Drudge the other night, and then a friend sent this in: Drudge Link #1 And now, Drudge Link #2 How did this guy turn into such a greedy, self-absorbed prick? I'm curious. It's like in the last year he just snapped.

Wait a minute. He wants to protect animals by having their brains rot out and eventually their bodies killed and burned? This is all very counterproductive to the whole saving animals thing.

Way to go, Team Elitest. This could actually impact someone more though than slipping on a bananna peel, though. =/

It was a liberal Hannity & Colmes. By the time the show is over I wind up with the same empty feeling I have watching that program. This is why I prefer Crossfire over on the Commie News Network LOLALTERNATE2003WHEREBIFFSTEALSTHESPORTSBOOK. Sometimes I agree with the left guy, sometimes the right guy.

For the love of God, let's not turn this into another "Iraq did/didn't have WMDs" thread. We've had four of those this week alone.

Al Gore's Son Arrested for Pot Possession
Jobber of the Week replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Current Events
I noticed this on all the news front pages today. Compare it to the Bush girls drinking, which was kind of a tongue in cheek "shame, shame" sort of thing. Hmmmm... OMG CONSERVATIVE CONSPIRACY~!!! -
All of these religions become a nuisance when they enter the public government.

That seems like a lot of loopholes to sit and plug. I guess I'll just have to take your word for it. I do believe there's exceptions for permanent resident aliens and American citizens living in other countries, at the least.

When did I "tell them" anything? Unless you're lumping me in with people who hold signs where troops are returning to their families or something. I just think they deserve better, and voters should expect it.
-
Why? PI was always a liberal p.c. show, which had 4 liberals against 1 conservative. Because even some/many of us liberals don't like PETA's tactics either. I found Maher's show to be interesting enough, even if I didn't like him personally.

Ordered Flair, waiting for this, just not interested in the cage disc.

Bill O'Reilly vs Matt Drudge
Jobber of the Week replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
The weird thing is that Drudge and O'Reilly being at each other's throats is as crazy as Michael Moore and Ann Coulter working together. I don't know why he says he's racing with Hillary, unless he means it in the sense that you could sell one book and then say you're racing with Hillary. This is Neilsen. The same comapny that says he's the #1 guy on cable. But when the same company says that his book isn't #1 (throwing out the self-help and diet books, he's talking political books, and that's what counts here) then it's not valid? -
Does it really have a blanket statement like that? Everything I've read says they can't give money to actual candidates.
-
I don't frequently go to sites that make no bones about their partisanship, sorry. The ones I did visit at one point in time were right-wing, because I was interested in understanding that side of the fence.

Eh? I consider Osama the reason we went out there in the first place. You, the President, Condolezza, Rummy, etc, are insane however, if you can think you can stop "terrorism" in a 3 year, 5, 10, 15, longer war. The problem that has always sat in the back of my head the whole time is that terrorism is not a person. It's not a group. It's not an organization. It's simply a concept, and there's no way that even a military like ours can stop every one fellow with a cause and the ingredients for a bomb (which can even be made with some rather traditional household items these days, appearantly, although I haven't read The Anarchist's Cookbook or anything so don't hold my nose to it.) There will always be people like that. What we need to do is remove the foreign element (i.e. Osama), then keep track of who and what is entering the country while deterring the Tim McVeighs of the world that are already here.

And once again, the stupid assumption is made that all these things are one and the same. PS: This was the right move by them, IMO.

Goldberg's "character" is the biggest lie I ever heard. Never jobbing and making everyone else in the fed look weak counts as a character?

Generally, 18-24 year old males are "fuck the establishment" types, not patriot types.

Iraqis were very heavy drinkers until Saddam dreamed up the "no public consumption" law in the mid-90s. It's not like the country has a big history of being alcohol-free or something.
-
Is that illegal? I mean, it's certainly bending the rules, but it sounds like how the music industry was banned from payola cashouts to stations for airtime decades ago but now pay what are called "indies", who do the pay-for-play bargaining for them. Not the most moral action, but not against the law.

Bin-Laden had untold millions of his own, though. And since he wasn't a government official of any kind, he couldn't be personally investigated by the U.N. The question is how much of Saddam's shell game was done out of genuine concern of exposed WMDs and how much of it was just trying to mess with people's heads. People close to him have said he's told them that he needed to project a stronger image of military might than there really was. I agree. Many Iraqis who were eager to help us oust him in '91 were arrested and/or tortured and are not as high on us this time as they were before.
