So, in an imaginary scenario, GW was taken capture and was checked for lice, you wouldn't be offended in the slightest?

Ode to Debra.

Anyone been to "Titan Towers" (The building)

Is this why the company seems to favor the east coast so much? We here on the west coast get so few shows. -
Well, it does make their claims that America is pushing them around look unfounded. I've somewhat believed that terrorism on the level of 9/11 is almost impossible. The fact that 9/11 even got pulled off must be a fluke, because it's taken how many years for them to be able to do something that massive once?

There's a difference between cleaning out the scum and making the rest of the people of there sympathetic to that scum. That's why I'm not nuts about televised Saddam humiliation. While many who live in Baghdad and saw Saddam's massive palaces from a distance while living in crappy conditions saw knew that he was wasting their livelyhoods on his own greed, people in Iraq and other middle east countries who haven't seen Saddam's ego-stroking in person see an Arab leader who stood up to America. The last thing we want to do is make him a target of sympathy in the so-called "Arab street."

Their good of their recent decision about medicinal pot negates the bad of this decision. Net Score This Month: 0. -
Did he say that after the Andre match? I know he said that after the Savage match at WM V. I know he said it at III. I have that show on a custom-made DVD.
-
Not really. I've always been on the "You guys give HHH more crap than he deserves" platform anyway. This is because the only guy he's faced this year who really deserved to have the belt was Booker at WM. I can't think of any other opponents he's faced this year that I'd rather give the belt to. Not Steiner, not Nash, not Goldberg.

I don't find it funny myself, but I'll just give up as I know many of the same Republicans who told me to lighten up over Reagan's "Oh, and the bombing begins in five minutes" crack will tell me that this one was mean-spirited and bad.

The scene: Hulk slammed and pin Andre. As they say in the commercials, "the world stood in awe." Then suddently Jesse Ventura mouths off with: "You know, Gorilla, I might have to come out of retirement and win that World Title." And a JR-ism: "Van Dam just grabbed the stars and bars... Er, stripes."

Oh, puh-lease. He sat back while China became a Communist nation, for starters. Secondly, he let Russia pretty much freely chip away at Europe.

Go HHH.

Interesting piece, although he could have provided some sources. Until he does or until I see a dark room full of Einsteins and Hawkings sitting around talking about his points, I can't fully buy into it.

A simple question to those "in the know"...

I would prefer we put him on Queer Eye For The Straight Guy. "Eeew! Look at this! The coat, the fedora, shooting rifles into the air? This is HORRIBLE! Well, let's get to work!" -

What? He's said he wouldn't have gone for the reasons the administration decided to. It doesn't mean he'd never go in for any reason and thinks Saddam is a swell guy. -
Diplomacy doesn't always work (see some certain governments we've been seeing in the news lately.) But the results of failed diplomacy affect people less than the results of war, even though we're pretty good at the latter option. George Washington used to stress war as a last resort, but he also stressed not to get too close to your allies, for you might wind up fighting their wars.

I suspect it's a very very short push that they hope by hanging out with midcarders like Holly and A-Train can get him some more face reaction. Also, it's a main event gate check. The guy's father recently died while he took almost no time off to deal with it. I imagine this one-time main event is Vince's way of saying "Thank you for putting aside your dying relatives to be jobbed out in our stupid carny sport." -

You're not alone. I figured it would be easier to buy it in a real store around here than to buy it online, but it hasn't been. -
If it's any consolation, I live in San Fran and I'm thinking the exact same thing.

(Smarks) For the love of god, man! Please! PUSH CRUISERS! (Vince) Well, it's time for the yearly Bob Holly push. This never goes anywhere, so I guess I might as well see if I can work a cruiser in there. (Smarks) STOP PUTTING THE CRUISER IN IMPORTANT MATCHES! He's just distracting from the goal of trying to put over Bob Holly! What the hell are you doing, you senile old man? Cruisers are just for sideshow anyway! (Vince) -

Who else is going to supply us with our jingoism? Eat the CONSERVATIVE CLOTHESLINE~! You Communist!! -
A friend of mine was a HUGE fan of Hardcore Holly in 2000. His favorite wrestler although Kurt Angle replaced him about halfway through the year. But Holly was definitely his fave during "The Big Shot" angle. Why? Appearantly because he worked himself up from one of the crappiest of WrestleCrap gimmicks or something. The Hardcore Holly persona never drew any money either, but I haven't seen this guy in years so I haven't been able to shove that knowledge in his face and see how he responds.

I don't know. Some of the naysayers have made some pretty good posts. Makes sense to me.

Congratulations, righties. You couldn't resist the bait some idiot tossed out regarding Florida 2000 and you have completely stalled the original topic of this thread, one of the more important ones in the CE forum.
