Then what about those several dozen Clinton justices which got the same shit, just in a different pile? It's completely irrelevant and stupid politics. Republican senators have far more to deal with from the war to balancing budgets. Republicans should be angry that they're bothering to waste such an amazing amount of time on this stupidity and move on.

Texas sodomy ruling likely to ruffle feathers

University of Chicago links homosexuality with brain metabolism (thank you, Google News search) though you could doubt their findings since they used such a small selection of people to analyze with. -
What man could be such a media whore as to try and link rap to terrorism? Don't answer that. ROFL! Did he get called on that?

Voluntary discrimination, in this case. Okay, there's a difference between thinking you might be gay and deciding that you want to go to the school that is suposed to shelter gays from harassment and thus has a social stigma associated with it. Even telling people you went to that school means they're going to make assumptions about you. Thus, only the people who are very openly gay and are so harassed for it that they decide they need to go to a school that will more or less automatically paint a picture of their private life to anyone who knows they go there. I don't tell my friends about my orientation. I'm a desperate virgin who can't get a romantic interest, so until I do and my friends start seeing me with said romantic interest, they have no reason to know. But if I went to the all-gay school and passingly told a friend I went there, they would automatically know I like the dick and the buttsex. I think you have to be pushed pretty damn far to get to the point where you voluntarily choose to go to a school like that. Again, I wouldn't go to the school. I don't think it's a good idea. Nobody I talked to thought it was a good idea. But I don't think it's making criminals out of people who wouldn't become criminals in any other public school in the major metropolitan NY area. You need to be of a certain mindset to be able to do that sort of thing, no matter what school you're in. That's why you'll never see timid ol' me robbing convenience stores.

Nobody's going to pop a rating anymore, although Meltzer had previously shown statistics showing that Kane was a reliable ratings draw. Shane has probably dampered that somewhat, though. I agree completely. I had visions of Kane/Goldberg back when they were just booking the match with the mask on the line. I'm just saying I don't think the angle is as worthless as some think. -
Considering how that can be used, it doesn't suprise me. Let me show you in some example sentences: "If you think this is great, get a load of the backdoor!" "Stephanie told HHH that he was missing out on all the fun if he didn't try the backdoor." "Bradshaw plugged his longest column yet into the backdoor." I mean, come on! They practically admit themselves that it sounds homoerotic, but still use it.

Normally I'd just say that I've never seen anything but right-wing flap from townhall.com, but any article that starts with "The left's latest attempt at segregation" gets my goat. First, the school's been open for a while now. The reason it got headlines this year was because it was being remodeled and worked on with taxpayer funds. This isn't a good thing. But are we to assume that this happened merely by the school's existance? This is hideous, but again I don't get how this wouldn't happen if the same students were enrolled in another school? Yeah, I'm sure a kid who doesn't know if he's gay or not is going to voluntarily take the social stigma of going to "the gay school" despite just as possibly being straight as gay. Sure. I don't think the school is a great idea myself, I sort of think it's received more than it's 15 minutes, but I sure as hell doubt that it's somehow breeding criminals that wouldn't be criminals in any other New York public school. So, with this plus the Coulter reference, I have to wonder if something has happened to Marney. I mean, I know I don't link to far-left columnists like this idiot because I like to keep this place clean. If she starts wearing "Factor Gear" then I'll know something's really wrong.

EDITED TO SAY: More important than the governor thing, I'm /STILL/ waiting for FBP to elaborate. I get the feeling he never will.

But shit, that's not the beginning of it, man. Besides filibustering, they could do as I previously mentioned and just not show up to vote. What then? Amend it again to allow people to be pulled out of their houses when a judicial nominee is up for vote? The problem with amending this is that there's still other ways to do the same goddamn thing, no matter how bad it is. PowerPlay was going on about how shocked he was that Dems seem to think it's all right. I don't think it's all right. I think it's purely political. I think it's funny in a hypocritical sort of way that NOW the Republicans are complaining about it, but both sides do it and it's not any better when one side does it than the other. But outlawing it isn't a fix-all. It will not cure the symptom and it will add another piece of legislature to a system that is already overburdened as it is.

Really, I think the Shane/Kane feud has had far more crap flung at it than it really deserved. While I don't approve of Shane doing a coast to coast on Raw and this week's dinner was the worst possibly choice of scene for that talk, the idea is to build Kane up as an unstoppable force without feeding him 500 jobbers ala Goldberg. Yes, it's an SE angle, but on a show where Lance Storm is a PARTY ANIMAL!~ and Hurricane is chokeslamming The Rock (even if he's not doing it anymore), it's not that much more unbelievable. If they end the Shane/Kane feud NOW and have Kane easily win clean they'll have succeeded in building a big heel. I've long thought the problem with the smark attitude is that they only use match results as the only factor in an angle. "Well, so and so won a match but had to use a foreign object when the ref didn't see so the crowd now thinks he's a pussy." The thing is that smarks forget that marks are, well, marks. You can build up a big fat heel with almost no matches at all these days, just as you can build a regular babyface with almost no matches at all (witness Shawn's six-month run as a main eventer whle having only about five matches.) -

I would pay $35 to watch Kane sit-up from the spear. -
They'll probably just remove votes. It was flooded, after all. No way in hell would a "You sprayed my girlfriend with MAGIC BLINDING MIST" match be more over than a return of Darkside Taker tease match would be, even one with a non-wrestler. No matter what you think of the guy, Darkside Taker is just that over. It's funny to think about though.

I'm suprised he managed to keep the mystique after he jobbed. It was when the lame duck WM XIX title reign began that he started reaching lame duck status. Brock couldn't beat Big Show and Not Team Angle, which is understandable, but Angle can? Then he jobbed a few more times. I think at one point the Big Show chokeslammed him and the goddamn FBI got the pin or something. He's simply jobbed out too much.

Yuna is what we call a fag hag, although I suspect it's more of a wannabe kind since I suspect she'd probably freak out if she found herself in a room with two guys doing it. O_o And Youth, I doubt you're going to find protests. It's not exactly like anyone thinks "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" is sacred or something.

Bif, download a good BitTorrent client. I use Shad0w's modified client. http://www.suprnova.org is a huge bittorrent site. You'll find Ahead Nero 6 somewhere under the Apps section. It'll include a serial or crack of some sort. Suprnova also has a whole shitload of other stuff but the MPAA/RIAA lurks there often (BitTorrent shows your IP to everyone you're sharing with) so I wouldn't go running after that unreleased album I've always wanted if I were you. Nero is quickly becoming the gold standard in CD burning. It seems to be the one thing everyone agrees upon, whether because it's powerful or simply easily piratable I don't know. EDIT (READ ME): Oh crap, I also forgot! Windows XP has a built-in CD burner! Insert a blank CD, cut/copy and paste the files to the CD drive, open it up and there will be an option to burn that disc. This method doesn't burn VCDs and other oddball CD types like Nero does, but if all you want to do is backup files or make music CDs, it works. Plus you already have it and don't have to go running off for pirated software to use it.

Yup, and now the guys that stayed home in 1998 are saying lines like that. Silly how it works, ain't it?

Of course it is, but this is a "Turner sux McMahon rulz" production so of course it's going to happen anyway.

There are times when it is and is not appropriate. Judges are expected to respect their country first and foremost. Also, there are people who proclaim their beliefs where it's not appropriate because they wish to be a martyr. Weird, but true.

Luger running in at the first Nitro. "You can tell all these fans to STICK IT, brother!" Fake Razor and Fake Nash "Mick Foley is gonna win their world title. Heh, like that'll put asses in seats." "Hulk, I got some more advice for you. You better not stop short or Eric Bischoff will go so far up your ass he'll know what you had for breakfast!" DX invasion Michaels' speech about dinosaurs and his "friends down south." McMahon/Bischoff "match" at Slamboree Oaklahoma "Tonight, J-E-Double-F is G-O-Double-N-E." Throw in some interviews with Bischoff talking about what hell the management was like and former WCW guys like Show and Jericho burying WCW and kissing McMahon ass becuase you know it's going to be on there anyway. But stuff like the the owners' match that never was, the Hart family being humiliated, and Jarrett getting verbally buried are things that will make them money, as low as it may be. And it's not like Vince is ever planning his calendars on doing business with any of those people ever again. PS: Throw in the less offensive Billionaire Ted skits for easter eggs.
