HOLY SHIT. It's looking more like WCW.COM before that promotion went tits up. Go figure. I personally liked the design they had going the day WM 20 tickets went on sale. One big frontpage image with secondary stories in text right next to it.

Why yes. We have a strong economy and did, for quite a while, make quite a few things here. Refusing to trade with a country could have been a bigger threat if all our jobs weren't going off to India, China, etc. At this point it's going to be the other country that will refuse to trade with US. And I support peace through superior firepower. It's a great deterrent. I just don't think it should be used because someone looked at us funny. -

This sounds like my yammering for a Cold War "crazy man with a big stick" mentality. LOL. -
I still don't get it. If someone built a 4-ton concrete penis for gay rights in the middle of a courthouse people would be upset to see it go? I'd call that a victory for good taste myself. The complaint isn't what he wants to believe it's how he chooses to express it. If that General Boykin guy was delivering his "our god has a bigger cock than their god" speech on the battlefield instead of in the church (the only place you could argue where it belongs) then I'm pretty sure he'd be reorganized into a different duty in a jiffy.

How in the hell can you equate that? He placed a spiritual marker in the middle of the building and then proceeded to shoot himself in the foot constantly by saying that it was not merely a symbol of justice, but a symbol of our nation appearantly being founded and beholden to the Judeo-Christian god. How can you relate that with gay rights at all?

Well, say what you want about the evidence in Iraq, I think it will eventually blow over. However, there ARE other ways to stick it to the problem without using the military. Diplomacy and especially Economics are far too often looked over anymore. -
You can change your preferences while Singed Out. Log into AIM and quickly push cancel when it tries to log you in, then right click on the icon in the bottom-right and choose Preferences. Add those SNs to your block list and allow only buddies to contact you in case the attackbots just change their names.

Well, putting a bunch of clips together and running a song over it isn't that difficult, but it won't look that good. If you want nice transitions, video that's synched to the music (i.e.: Someone strums a guitar to the sound of guitar in the song, lip-synch lyrics, etc) you're going to have to become involved in the world of video editing. I would reccomend looking up sites with bulletin boards full of people who do this kind of thing and look around for newbies asking for help. If you can't find any, post a help message yourself and see what happens. Chances are any decently-populated AMV board gets about 10 "help me start out" posts a week anyway. That's about all I can suggest. Chances are you're going to have to go find a pirated copy of Adobe Premiere, since all the nice clean productions I've seen use that. I've seen vids done with other programs, but the transitions are almost always ugly and the result is a nasty poorly-timed DBZ blastfest set to something like Limp Bizkit. The AMV world has enough of those, thanks. :b That's about all I can suggest for you. Coming here and asking about this kind of thing is like asking the Photoshop tech support line to teach you how to make art.

What's your software, hardware, OS, etc? You didn't give us any information as to what you're using so I can't help until you do. This happened once before, as I spouted off about a dozen different fixes to someone and then later found out none of them would work because the person never told me they were using a Mac.

BE CAREFUL! Dear god people. Downloading Nero and shit off Kazaa is *BEGGING* for viruses! At least give him a link to a BitTorrent client and Suprnova. Sheesh. However Bif, if you do plan to use Kazaa, generally the bigger (20MB to 50MB) file is more likely to be what you're looking for. Any 500Kb file labeled "Nero Complete + Crack" or something similar should obviously be a little too identifiable. But damn people. Kazaa.... Goddamn.

Why do you want to use WMA? MP3 is the popular format and can be played by a greater variety of software. Not bitching you out, just wondering how flexible you are on this because there's a greater variety of software if you use MP3.

Why is XIII nominated for so much? It's not even OUT yet!
-
Did they give these nominees a hearing? See, this is why I say it's pure poltiics. A metric fuckload of Clinton nominees never went anywhere either because the Republicans either wouldn't give them a hearing or simply did not show up to vote.

*whistle* Cancer Marney has been docked 5 points for using Ann Coulter as a source. (O'Reilly = -3, Coulter = -5, Savage = -7) Cerebus316 fumbles, attempted distraction over spelling. The ball is moved back 10 yards. Resume! I believe the problem with Marney's comments (and the appearant beliefs of this administration) is the idea that you can change the culture of the entire Middle East region by using guns to keep out the unwanted elements. I know this is a risky comparison, but the Taliban did much the same thing, destroying museums and demolishing national treasures because they were considered an unwanted element in their rule. No nation on Earth will part with it's culture easily. Although it can be removed from everyday life, it cannot be totally forgotten. The best possible scenario is that Middle East governments stop sponsoring Islamic traditions (such as the honor killings discussed above) but that isn't going to happen without making quite a few enemies out of other nations, and I'm not just talking about the middle east here. Afghanistan, alright. Iraq, it'll squeak by. But messing around with too many countries will basically send a message that the United States is willing to take over any country it simply doesn't like, and then we've got problems. -
But that doesn't mean it wasn't illegal. I'm against changing our systems unless they really need changing or unless it directly benefits the people. Part of the problem with changing legislation in law is that essentailly to go back to the way it used to be you have to overturn a law, and that's a messier ordeal anymore than making one. This is pure politics, and hopefully nothing will come out of it except maybe sales of No-Doze around DC will go up.

FF12 revealed (broadband-sized picture inside)

In a nutshell, my complaint is that we somehow went from that quiet "marketplace in a city with giant skyscrapers" futuristic scene to Yuna #4 and a hero who looks like he's dressing in drag for Mardi Gras. WOULD IT KILL THEM TO MAKE THE FIGHTER WEAR ARMOR? PS: Touche on the bag thing. -

It's the same damn brunette girl that we've had since FF8. Make her a midget and you have the FF9 one. The male character (why does he carry that bag the same way women wear a purse?) resembles the main character from Suikoden III. The Knights-On-Chocobos thing isn't old or cliche or anything, but they did do it in their last game. FF11 isn't that bad at all, really. -
Uh... LOL??

I'm listening to some Republican from Idaho whine about how judicial selection shouldn't be filibuster-able. Yet somehow, we managed to make it through our father's and grandfather's years, allowing it to be filibustered, and we've made it through it just fine. If they're just going to filibuster about filibusters, then I'll accept that, although I wish the NY Phonebook would come in soon.

Between this, the anal rape/no anal rape, the other crazyness, Flynt buying her nudes and 5,000 other crazy things, it is time to consider a moon landing style conspiracy where nothing really happened at all. :b -
Why in the hell do boob jobs important enough for their own stories? Or threads, for that matter?
