Wireless Internet Connection Problem.
Jobber of the Week replied to iliketurtles's topic in Technology
WiFi is just one of those difficult things. I had to install several wi-fi cards in my computer over several months before I found one that worked. Make sure you pay very special attention to the installation instructions, as they can often be very picky and if you don't follow directly, it may be the difference between success or failure. Also, try looking up your model card (the exact model, mind you) on Broadcom's site and downloading any available software. Uninstall any software for it you might have installed and try again. -
Battlefield 2 for the PC.
Jobber of the Week replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Video Games
I play it from time to time, either it or HL2 DM, but I can't remember my name right now because it's been weeks (months?) since I've played. Honestly, the consoles are really taking my time away right now. -
I know what a fireman's carry is, but what is "goofy sitout signature moves" supposed to mean?

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot about that. The airport here is named after a real fucker of a politician. Not only was he the BUTT buddy of Joe McCarthy, but he had a whole system of good ol' boys to help him control things and was possibly an anti-semite, too. -
Both Apprentices, will check out My Name Is Earl because of public opinion. Thought about watching Surface but decided against it.

I'm betting they charge real money for the immunization.

This is actually the problem. The crowd wants to get behind a bad guy, after so many years of Austin and Corporate Champ Rock and Brock Lesnar The Unstoppable Monster. It's how Hollywood Rock and Heel Shawn Redux got more heat in their four week heel turns than anybody has gotten in years. They need to make a "good bad guy." They had it with John Cena but they watered it down again.

Damnit why can't it go hit the empty town. I've got pals in Houston. =/ Not to mention that a lot of refugees decided that they wanted to make the area their new home, so I guess we'll be finding out how much of the looting is by out-of-towners.

Vote on the new Edge shirt design
Jobber of the Week replied to The Niggardly King's topic in The WWE Folder
TV-MA is so great that I might actually buy it if they made it. The wrestling connection is just subtle enough to make it work. The only problem with all of these is that most people see "Edge" and think it means "straight-edge," which is not only a problem for those of us who aren't into that thing but also because the messages of the shirt kind of conflict with the meaning of that term. -
Does anybody? The guy is really smart and I sort of like him, but an ideal candidate doesn't sit there with a smile on his face because he knows he's in like Flynn. Just a sign of the times, I guess.

HijackThis is a program that examines a lot of things about your system and creates a list of various programs, DLL libraries, and other things it's using. It's dangerous to use if you don't know what you're doing, much moreso than Ad-Aware or Spybot or MS AntiSpyware, because if you just choose to check all the things it brings up and delete them, you'll wreck your system. The best thing to do is save the list as a log file and then paste the log into the forum so people can examine it for you. In the meantime, this is a very new adware trojan and the scanners and like haven't gotten around to adding it yet. In the meantime, please stop using MSIE and move to a non-Microsoft browser. IE is essentially tied into the Windows OS a little too much, and that makes it dangerous to browse the web with. FireFox and Opera are two free web browsers (Opera stopped charging people for it's browser the other day) that are both way better than IE.

I went and saw her live routine in late 2001. If you just came to Vegas once and saw her and went home, you'd think it was great. But if you actually come here regularly to gamble, and then you see that the jokes in the commercial are the same ones that she's using in the show, and the "Life with Rita" strip in the showtime-listing magazine in your room is just a print version of her retelling the same jokes... ...Well, it seems like her repitoire is really limited. So I can razz on her once, if only because I've had to hear "And yes, I'm really doing the splits, and yes, it hurts" so many times while touring south Strip.

I saw this and immediately thought of Rita Cosby. Which I guess is better than Rita Rudner, which would be a hurricane that bores everyone within gale distance using boring jokes about it's husband. "We were laying down in bed one night, and he said 'What category are you at now?' and I thought about it and I said 'I'm a Category G' and he said 'Category G? Does that....? Hmm..' Sure I lied but he doesn't know what I'm talking about and that makes me feel so much better."

Blasted X-Play. I now only associate this game with one thing: "Hey, are you okay?"

"Cena does not know how to work" is not it at all. "Cena is not being given enough room to breathe and work to his fullest" is what's going on. If Cena was having matches in TNA, we'd probably be a hell of a lot more impressed with him than what we're seeing right now. As Prototype in OVW, Cena was getting a LOT of love from those who managed to see him.

This is why I love Delicious Library and thought it was worth the registration fee.

This guy lives on an ivory tower and half of his post seems to be complaining about how poor people should feel honored to breathe oxygen because they're otherwise such a drag on society. These people are TOTALLY going to destroy Houston (which is pretty hard to make worse than it already is) because they don't know what Jason's Deli is better than McDonalds. While he may being treated rather unkindly, it's from people who have lost everything, and I think if he lost EVERYTHING, especially since a person of his statue has so much more than most, he would very upset, too. I would not be supried if this isn't one of those peoples who believe that the poor are "just lazy."

The people who owned TechTV, Vulcan Ventures (run by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen) had enough of the channel. They were going to scrap everything, fire everyone, and sell the channel's spot on cable and satellite networks to whoever wanted it. There's a lot of people who want to make their own channel, and it seemed ripe for someone to buy these contracts and put the latest "24 hour all ______ network" on the air. Comcast couldn't get G4 onto the Dish services because they're kind of locked in a blood-grudge right now, so Comcast bought the company to get G4 on the air, and in addition to that bought the hosts and programming and trimmed it down to what they wanted to keep. Be happy with what you've got, I guess, as if anyone else had bought the station the result would have been that all former TechTV programs would have gone off the air entirely never to be seen again.

Guess who gave the easy thumbs up to Mike "What the hell am I doing here?" Brown as FEMA chief? Democrats! This is an excerpt the transcript of tonight's episode of Lou Dobbs Tonight. I am just blown away in admiration of these people's dedication to their work!

The family trusts Cheney to be the babysitter because he has no aspirations of his own. This thing either works out or he goes home. Although Fed-Up Cheney Enters Presidential Race Himself is a pretty good headline. -
WM21 did one hell of a buyrate and Hogan wasn't expected to do a match. That's not because of Hogan, it's because of everyone else. The show was stuffed with upper tier guys, meaning that the Chris Masters and even Booker Ts of the WWE didn't get any camera time. I think of the whole show, the lowest ranked guy was either Christian or Shelton. They put together a very similar card for Vengeance, having just moved over many of Smackdown's top card except for JBL and Undertaker, and had both titles defended, and it did very well too. People just aren't as interested in seeing Hogan anymore. That said, people will buy PPVs but not these Judgment Day or Unforgiven ones. Why would you want to pay $30 for a one-brand PPV when in a few months you can pay $40 and see all the top guys and all the titles being defended on both brands? Vengeance was practically a two-brand card, as far as top tier guys go (which is what people pay to see) at a one-brand show price.

WWE Having Disputes with MSG Management
Jobber of the Week replied to spman's topic in The WWE Folder
The current MSG is it's third incarnation. The McMahon family has been promoting shows there since the building that was MSG before this current one. So I'd guess there's still historical significance, but most people won't give a shit. Losing MSG is like a blow pretty close to the crotch as far as WWE is concerned. -
