His race stance doesn't earn points with me, but considering the times and how long it took just to get rid of segregation, I don't feel like I can fairly take them away either. -

Because I would have offended everyone. Well, probably best not to give myself too much credit as I doubt I'd succeed, but try anyway. Teddy Roosevelt -
WWE Having Disputes with MSG Management
Jobber of the Week replied to spman's topic in The WWE Folder
Vince isn't going to be pissed because MSG tells him what sucks. MSG has always been the proving ground for gimmicks, characters, champions, etc. If it can not get over in MSG, then it can not get over, period. MSG's crowd comes closest probably to Vince's mindset himself. Pops for big guys and "legends," not as hot about WCW imports, although even Scott Steiner got a crowd pop at SurSer since so much of the crowd had never seen him wrestle in years. Vince knows he's onto something when he brings down the house at MSG, and knows he's got to look for an eject or reboot when people shit on things at MSG. HHH has been forced on us all since a bunch of people made a monster welcome back pop for his promo. It's probably the only building Vince will "listen" to, anymore. MSG and the McMahon wrestling business goes back to the 1940s, and earlier if you want to count a number of boxing events. Basically, if Vince gives the place up, he's retarded. -
Guess who was responsible for the whole Janet slip outrage that was so overblown it made some of us embarassed to be here? Yep.

Half-Life 2? They should just go ahead and do that on Xbox 360 anyway. 64MB of RAM is just pitiful for the amount of effects and artwork in that game.

Ask Christian who he pissed off.

This revelation + your title = amusing, yet I not reveal why lest I look like a dork or a small child.

They probably added canned applause.

Bitching about other religions getting equal treatment is a great way to start a thread! If your name is MrRant.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He should have signed it -=Rant since it was nothing spectacular. In most schools, lunch/free period you can spend doing as you please. In most public middle schools, a student could freely go and spend sometime praying. That's not the same thing as a class being led in a prayer by a teacher, which is what proponents of "school prayer" are always talking about.

Anti-Gay protestors protest soldiers funeral

Nope, they're Bigots <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Edited to reflect accuracy. -
Most video game forums are shit. Ask away here if you need to. You're going to need to use the USB cable, obviously. See the manual for more about that. If you already have the cable, PSP Video 9 is a program that not only converts movies to PSP spec, but also copies them to the PSP with thumbnails and everything.

Conservatism favors the middle class, although current-day "conservatism" like what's in power right now seems to be oblivious to it's importance.

Is that Ghosts & Goblins because it looks like it? Meanwhile, I bought a DS, and while there's a stunning no games I'd like to play yet, I am enjoying the feeling of having a very poor man's Wacom tablet with Pictochat.

Should the 4 Horseman come back to Wrestling?
Jobber of the Week replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Big Show a Horseman? Euuugh. I still think D-X would work better than the Horsemen. Flair is at the point that he is so over that he could be telling women in the crowd to suck his dick and the room would pop. HHH, heel non-Jesus HBK, Carlito, and CM Punk would make a great D-X 2, but that's just IMHO. -

To the contrary, Scalia seems like the party hack to me. I know I use this example again and again (I just used it yesterday on another board) but I bring it up not because it's all I have (there's plenty more ammo) but because it gives great insight into man's train of thought: In the court's decision to make sodomy laws unconstitutional, Scalia said "It is clear from this that the Court has taken sides in the culture war" (Source, page 48.) And yet, somehow, he doesn't think that upholding sodomy laws isn't taking a side in the culture war as well??

United Way was the one that screwed up pretty bad and took a lot of heat. This LiveJournal post tends to do a good job weeding the 'good' from the 'bad', although it assumes that you think organizations that will use your money to evangelize is bad, so apply your own conditions.

Funny. It'd be just as funny no matter who it is. Even if it was an elderly white woman, shit, then it might even be funnier still.

I would strongly bet yes. However, in the unlikely chance that I'm wrong, this website will convert .midi to a variety of ringtone types.

Why all three legacies of the company of course: * Hogan going over talented people (1984-1992)... CHECK * Plain vanilla big men with no skill in the main event (1993-1998)... CHECK * HHH going over the world clean (1999-Present)... CHECK

Unfair? Maybe if you didn't want to confuse people about it, you wouldn't have done it in the first place. Bullshit. It was fucking FLORIDA, and even the crowd felt the uneasy tension. That pitiful excuse might have flew if they were in Seattle or Minneapolis or something. (cue appearance of Diana Krall, smooth jazz the instrumental to "The Look Of Love" starts playing in the background) "The Look, of roids, is in your veins Because Vince will look the other way The look of roids, is getting so much more pushed your way At best the main event, at worst a feud with Kane."

RAW's move to USA is getting hyped nicely
Jobber of the Week replied to UZI Suicide's topic in The WWE Folder
I started watching in 99 in the height of Russo ridulopathy. I think around the tim that Val Venis was going out with Ken Shamrock's sister or something. But if you've ever been to a live show lately you'll see that there's a lot of people who don't care about the match so much. In fact, people tend to get confused if the finish isn't well broadcasted beforehand. Cena/JBL at WrestleMania was terrible, but everyone was kind of hesitant to pop for the finish because the F-U came out of clear nowhere and people were kind of assuming it was a last-moment 2 count. Of course, the main events at WM sucked for other reasons, such as heels dominating and faces pulling wins out of nowhere. -
FEMA and the government have been pretty retarded about this. First for not being ready for it when the hurricane hadn't reached anything on land for days, second for being ill-prepared once it passed. Currently, FEMA is making people call an 800 number and request supplies to get anything. Now, there's no phones, gentlemen. That's goddamn retarded.

Oh, well scratch what I said above.
