Hurry up and get to the real meat. I want my announcer match!
-
Stunned Silence = LOL
-
Screencap or description of Kane's new suit plz.
-
Yeah, God forbid it should be above the announcers match... We want to save the matches that have actual consequences until later in the program. I hope they cut that Jericho 3-man match down a bit to give the participants in the tag match some time to perform.
-
Ah, that's sad. Seriously, I see the stunt guys on Power Rangers doing kip-ups in uncomfortable rubber monster suits. It's not like we're talking wrestling moves or anything here. Good going, Ms. Athletic. *slow claps*
-
How do you botch a kip up?
-
Seriously, if this were 1998, Anglesault would be calling Nation Rock "suckbag." Not that I like Orton either and I'm pissed that I'm 1 for 2 now, but really... Some perspective, please.
-
Fucking hell. Oh well, at least we get the Evolution music again. EVOLUTION IS A CAT WITH FLEAS JUMPING TO WHATEVER HOST IT PLEASE WATCH OUT IT MIGHT CARRY A DISEASE
-
whooo
-
So far I'm 1 for 1 (we didn't do tag match) with the other people here. That said, I hope Jesus wins so I'm 2 for 2.
-
Evolution music = LOL. What is that guy singing anyway? EVOLUTION IS A BUNCH OF TREES SPROUTING TWIGS AND SHEDDING LEAVES DON'T GET TOO CLOSE OR YOU COULD SNEEZE
-
Just joined in. Someone want to tell me what the opener was?
-
irony noun 1: witty language used to convey insults or scorn; "he used sarcasm to upset his opponent"; "irony is wasted on the stupid" [syn: sarcasm, satire, caustic remark] Whoa. If irony was Triple H, we'd all be jobbing RIGHT NOW.

He's switched to the dark side! We need more Test/Steiner matches and he'll see the light eventually! -

Oh god, like SHE has anything meaningful to add. -
I pulled that Carville quote about righties boycotting movies they've never seen out of my ass after reading 1 and a half pages. It sure became more profound pages later.

I suspect the one more big Angle/Lesnar match will happen at Rumble. I think the coolest fucking thing they could do is have Angle & Lesnar as 1 & 2 and have them just tearing through whatever other guys get into the ring. The "two guys having a fight and tearing the shit out of anyone else in the fight" angle is about the only one left that hasn't been done in the big 30 man toruney. They almost had it going with Jericho & Shawn but they had Chris decimate Shawn right away and thus it never happened.
-
That was awesome. Flair needs to do The Who impressions more often.

So, to lighten the mood around here, how about something SLANDEROUS OMG!?!? http://www.theonion.com/onion3210/christde...mandsmoney.html

Jesus is one of those things where the message is good, but if you got the wrong messanger (fundamentalists) it can backfire at you and make you hate. I think the lessons that the Bible teaches you are good. I'm a person of science however and there's not enough scientific evidence that there's a man in the sky who watches you all the time and sends you into a pit of fire and smoke and pain and suffering if he doesn't like what you do. I was brought up from preschool to grade 6 in religious private schools. Every Monday morning we'd go into the Church on the premises for bible study, which taught that every species on the planet was created in a week. Every weekday afternoon we'd do science and be taught that we were simply on the tail end of a very old planet and that long ago dinosaurs roamed the Earth, etc etc. I actually got a question wrong on a test sometime because I declared that dinosaurs and humans lived at the same time. The teacher questioned me on that and I cited the Bible and asked why I got it wrong, to which she kinda mumbled, dodged the question, and walked away. That was the point where it started dawning on me that I'd eventually have to decide what conflicting information I was being given would be seen as truth, and I simply chose the one that made the most sense.

I don't like Hurricane either, but Wade and Helms have had their share of Fuck Yous to one another, so I'm not going to take a Wade report on Helms seriously. I'd believe 1Crapshit before Wade on Helms news at this point.
-
Well, the monster tat is in the video games. I imagine in the create a ____ mode you might be able to take a better look at it, but I kinda doubt it.

As we have seen from this thread, the religious have their numbers here and are well-represented. Their less-scrupulous peers are subject to discussion, but the religious people here are not without their voice. I think Eagan's first post was something that would get him flamed on nearly any board and the flaming is simply what happened as a result of that. Let's just move on.

http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,3...1626541,00.html And there, ladies and gentlemen, is what I'm talking about when I talk about how the RIAA looks like a group of thugs compared to the MPAA (which is just as big and just as profitable, and has actually seen bigger profits since the 2001 holidays.) How to do business vs How not to do business.

Well, my heart follows what Eagan's saying (I could share my experiences with religion with the class, I guess, but I doubt you want to hear it, but we'll just say I've done a lot of deep thought about the subject) but my brain knows to be more compassionate towards others. The exception is, of course, the aforementioned political group which want to institute change in all our lives. If they are not kept in check (and let's face it, our current leadership is NOT going to do that), they must be kept under watch at least, and that's why I post as much about them as I do. It looks like Boo Bradley was running under the impression of this being a comedy thread, not realizing that religion is a can of worms out here. Eagan posts something with no tact whatsoever, and it spirals into an arguement from there.
